For the last few weeks i have been seeing some awesome charters and the action does not seems to stop yet....now with the arrival of Kalitta Charters :) !!!!. Insel Air MD-82 also made a surprise visit on the same afternoon.
Kalitta Charters is an American charter airline based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA. Its main base is Willow Run Airport.The company is owned and run by Doug Kalitta. Kalitta Charters is now the sole company that has a contract with the US government to fly the remains of soldiers to their final resting places. A semi regular visitor to MSY, transporting race horses. Today she was bound for West Palm Beach. I flew on 29 B727s over the years. Just an amazing airplane.
(727-200F) Deflation Of All 4 Main Landing Gears / second 727 with spares departing St. Kitts !!!!
This incident took place sometime in 2016 i think. This 727 had a very late touch down and as a result used all its braking power to come to a stop to avoid going off the edge of the runway... luckily they did :). As a result the tires deflated from the intense heat. A second 727 came with the spare tires and departed for St Lucia.

Take a look at the few 727's I have seen live arriving in St. Kitts....Amerijet being a regular for my life span.
The 727 was heavily produced into the 1970s; the last 727 was completed in 1984. As of July 2017, a total of 57 Boeing 727s (2× 727-100s and 55× -200s) were in commercial service with 27 airlines, plus a few more in government and private use. Airport noise regulations have led to 727s being equipped with hush kits. Since 1964, there have been 118 fatal incidents involving the Boeing 727. Successor models include variants of the 737 and the 757-200.

My first time catching this lovely bird live from Bradshaw Tower. Peter Nygard is a regular visitor to St. Kitts because he has developments that are currently going on on the island !!!!

Did this Arrival Came Close To The Edge ?? Kalitta Charters 727-200F @ St. Kitts/Caribbean !!
To my aviation fans.....i need your opinion on this one, this 727 touch down late and applied reverse thrust even later....as a result it came to a stop very close to the end of the runway....was this a close call ? / did the pilot know what he was doing why the reverse thrust took a while to apply ? i have little knowledge on the old mighty 727 and its stopping power... can some one with a bit of knowledge enlighten me. A closer look at the video will reveal that after the back thrust was engage for a bit it went to full power as they got closer to the end. I tried my best to analyze the video with google earth to pin point the touch down and reverse point. This is a cargo flight operating on behalf of Amerijet International out of Miami !!!!

Amerijet 727-200F blasting out of St. Kitts !!! (Golden Days - Tower View)
It's very rare to see two 727's from Amerijet at once...but at this particular time in history it did occur !!!!. One 727 to the rescue with spear wheels after the other got flat tires. This video was edited different and uploaded before but it was deleted it some time back and now re-uploaded it !!!!

January 3rd 2014 marks a rare visit for Peter Nygard's private 727 to the Bahamas. It was registered on flightaware , (which usually doesn't happen) which is why I was able to catch it. She flew from Los Angeles and 2 hrs later and as a cold front was passing over, he rocketed out for Ft Lauderdale.
Registration: VP-BPZ
Based on recent research, Nygard now has a 727-200. The last sighting of his 100 showed all engines taken out.
