Ho Chi Minh City | Backpackers | Crocodile Meat | Travel | Vietnam

#HoChiMinhCity is Vietnam’s largest city and its economic engine room. The city has an irrepressible soul and an entrepreneurial energy that hums day and night. Despite almost a century of colonialism and conflict, today this city is renowned for its warm hospitality.

In Ho Chi Minh City, boulevards built during the French colonial era are lined with cutting edge skyscrapers, while jasmine scented temples gently rub shoulders with chic rooftop bars

More than 9 million people call Ho Chi Minh City home and the energy of its streets is part of its charm. Join the buzz with a #vacation here. The city is divided into a series of numbered districts. District One is where almost all of the city’s main #attractions can be found.

The place we visit :
1.. Cu Chi Tunnels, The tunnels of Củ Chi are an immense network of connecting tunnels located in the Củ Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country

2. The Mariamman Temple in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Mariamman. It was built in the late 19th century by traders from Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is now under the management of the Vietnamese Indian Children brought up by Late priest Attangudi Lakshmanan Chettiar who previously used to be the priest who managed the Thenday Yutthapani Temple at 66, Ton That Thiep, Quan 1, HCMC.

3. Vietnamese Street Food - By my ultimate favorite activity in Saigon is eating street food, and there are an abundance of delicious Vietnamese street foods to sample.

4. War Remnants Museum - Although this is not one of the happiest attractions in Saigon, it’s a place to remember and honor the horrible events that are a result of a war.

5. Central Post Office - Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City is an attraction mainly for its design and architecture. It’s a beautiful building.
