Biryani for 2,000!! | HUGE INDIAN FOOD Celebration - Malabar Coast, Kerala, India!

The biryani ended up being for 2,000, maybe even 2,500 people!

KANNUR, KERALA - Welcome to the Malabar Coast of Kerala, India, a place of friendly people, warm weather, and hospitable people.

Thanks to our friend Roshan from Seashell Haris Beach Home ( in Kannur, Kerala, India, we were invited to attend a housewarming celebration.

A housewarming is a big event - it’s a time when the family officially moves into a new home, offers a blessing, for the house and the people, and amazing Indian food is served.

We arrived early in the morning to see all the cooking of the biryani. The chefs were amazing, master of fire, and ratios. No recipes are used in their cooking, it’s just experience, and the knowledge of ingredients and method. I was impressed at how the head chef knew all the ingredients, and how much of what to be added where, all while keeping track of all the different dishes prepared.

After the first preparation of the biryani, we then enjoyed breakfast - Kerala style “chicken parts,” curry. Including chicken parts and ovary eggs, it was outstanding.

Later, in the middle of the day, the housewarming biryani celebration began. Guests started arriving, all lining up for a taste of this special Malabar Coast, Indian biryani.

Thalassery Biryani (Malabar Biryani) - Much different from any other biryani I’ve had anywhere else in India or the world, the rice in Thalassery Biryani just melts in your mouth and goes down so easily. It was so moist and juicy, and the flavor and spices were perfect.

Having the privilege to attend a housewarming Indian food celebration in Kerala was truly an honor. Thank you to the family who hosted us, and wishing you all the best.

1,200 Fried Chickens!! GIANT INDIAN FOOD Wedding for 3,000 People! | Kerala, India!

????T-shirts and caps:

First of all, a huge thank you to the couple and family for inviting us to their wedding and for allowing us the privilege to see the cooking process and attend the wedding. Congratulations! Additionally, thank you to Chef and his team for your amazing cooking. And finally, thank you to Roshan and Haris from Seashell Haris Beach Home ( who arranged this amazing experience. #Kerala #India #Wedding #IndianFood

Weddings in India are on a huge scale, and this was a wedding reception in Kannur, on the West Coast of India. We arrived and immediately headed back to the kitchen, where the amazing Chef and his team were busy preparing huge amounts of food for over 3000 guests.

There were a dozen pots of biryani going over fire, and inside the kitchen, there were huge pans of curry, and the most impressive dish - a pan full of 1,200 chickens, marinated in chili and ready to be deep fried.

Something that really impressed me is the head Chefs ability to organize and manage - making sure to get flavors right (even though there’s no written recipe), without forgetting any ingredients, and all while keeping a schedule so the food is ready when the guests arrive. Imagine doing that for 3,000 people. Truly skill, knowledge, organization, and experience.

The food was spectacular, with lollipop chicken, fried chicken in spices and chili, chicken curry, biryani, a variety of south Indian dosa, and a multitude of over 25 different dishes. What a meal and experience, eating, cooking, and watching the food being prepared at an Indian wedding receptions in Kerala, India!

Again, thank you and congratulations to the couple!

Unique Cassava Beef Ribs!! South Indian Food + Fish Market | Kerala, India!

????T-shirts and caps:

Kerala, India - Another special food day in Kerala, India! Ebbin ( invited us to his family friend’s home. We also met up with OMKV Fishing ( We started the meal by making a local Kerala style of biryani - and not with rice. This is the first time I’ve ever had biryani with something other than rice, cassava. The cassava was cooked separately at first, then combined with beef ribs, and a host of Kerala spices, and made into a mash of cassava, meat, and spices. It was incredibly delicious. #IndianFood #Kerala #India

Additionally, the amazing Aunties and Grandma cooked a stunning Kerala fish curry from the fish that we bought at the market. The expertise of the cooking, and the amount of spices used in the cooking, always excites me.

For lunch, we enjoyed a couple of local stews, followed by the incredible cassava biryani and fish curry. What a lunch, with an incredible group of people, family, and friends.

God’s Own Country!! SOUTH INDIAN SEAFOOD on Houseboat | Backwaters - Kerala, India!

????Hot Lava Fish Fry:

????T-shirts and caps:

Alappuzha (also known as Alleppey), India - The Backwaters of Kerala are one of the biggest draws to Kerala, and before going, I had no idea why. After visiting, I now know that the Backwaters are one of the reasons why Kerala is known as “God’s Own Country.”

After arriving in Alappuzha (Alleppey), we headed straight to the house-boat, a luxurious floating house-boat on the Kerala backwaters. The boat was beautiful with four full bedrooms, a full upper deck with dining room and viewing platform, and most importantly, a huge kitchen with private chefs to cook us an Indian seafood Kerala meal of your dreams! #IndianFood #Kerala #Backwaters

Ebbin had arranged for a huge seafood meal on the boat. As soon as we started sailing on the Backwaters, the amazing chefs started cooking. There were over a dozen different dishes, seafood extravaganza. The meal was absolutely incredible, and the scenery of the water, lakes, rivers, and lagoons, were spectacular.

For the rest of the afternoon, we relaxed around the boat, and eventually docked for the evening in a small village. For dinner we had a simple Kerala meal of rice porridge, with a few different chutneys, and green gram, mung beans.

Sleeping on the boat was fantastic, so quiet and peaceful, and it was a joy to wake up in the morning ready to go again. For breakfast, they made one of the best egg curries I’ve ever had in my life - one of the reasons I love Kerala so much, curry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Thank you to Alleppey Houseboat ( for giving us a great deal on a house-boat, and for the amazing food and service. An incredible experience, and truly God's Own Country!

KANNUR, INDIA - During out time in Kerala, we had a chance to learn about the countryside village life, make a number of outstanding chutneys with the Queen of Chutney, have an exquisite local lunch, and end the day with a whole goat prepared Malabar style - a mix of Indian and Arabian flavors and techniques. #Kerala #India #IndianFood

Thank you to Seashell Haris Beach Home for arranging everything and setting up this amazing day. They are doing great things, and I would highly recommend staying there when you visit Kannur:

What I love so much about Indian food is how diverse it is, and the mind-blowing combinations of spices, ingredients, and flavors that go into every dish. After attempting to harvest some mussels and hanging out with fishermen for a while, we headed back to the village to start cooking. The highlight at the beginning of the day was a green passion fruit chutney.

Indian food lunch - For lunch, we headed back to Seashell Haris Beach Home where they prepared an outstanding local Kerala lunch of a variety of different dishes, all together with fried pomfret.

Whole masala goat - Mr. Haris then prepared for us an entire goat, a small but flavorful goat, rubbed in a huge amount of masala paste - I like to call it the Kerala spice treatment. It was delicious and a perfect way to end this amazing day of village Indian food in Kerala!

???? NEW T-shirts and caps available now:

BANGKOK, THAILAND - Aromkwan (อารมณ์ควัน) is an “Asian Smokery” where Chef Bank serves family Malaysian food recipes with his own touch BBQ smoking touches. You’re in for an extreme meal of smoked goat leg curry, pork knuckle curry, and a huge mountain of biryani. Get ready for a meal experience you’ll never forget. #MalaysianFood #Bangkok

I was more than excited to try this once in a lifetime meal in Bangkok!

Chef Bank is half Malaysian and half Thai, and his Father is Malaysian Indian, and his Mother is Thai Chinese - four of the best food groups in the world? I think so!

Aromkwan (อารมณ์ควัน) is where Chef Bank and team serve a combination of family recipes and curries, but then Chef Bank goes a step further to smoke the curries for 10 or 12 hours and build layer upon layer of flavor into each dish. One of the most impressive parts of eating at Aromkwan (อารมณ์ควัน) is how your meal is served on a banana leaf communal style. He piles on the dishes and we had a base of biryani, quail sambal, smoked portobello mushrooms, charred bok choy, smoked goat leg curry, smoked pork knuckle curry, ikan bakar, and smoked chicken wings.

The entire meal was out of this world. Both the smoked goat leg curry and smoked pork knuckle were were out of control delicious, melt in your mouth and not only flavored from the curry and spices, but from the smoke.

A world class meal, highly recommended when you’re in Bangkok for extreme Malaysian food that’s unlike anything else in the world.

In addition to the amazing food, all the food is cooked with so much love, passion and dedication which you’ll taste with every bite.

Kozhikode (also known as Calicut), Kerala, India - Another amazing in Kerala, India, known for their food, is Kozhikode. I was excited to explore the South Indian food, and to eat as much as possible. Turned into an outstanding day of eating, the highlight being the extreme lava fish fry. #IndianFood #Kozhihode #Calicut #streetfood

Amma Hotel - If there was one single restaurant you could choose to eat at in Kozhikode, it would be Amma Hotel for their unbelievable fish fry. We arrived at the peak of lunch when things were busy and they were frying huge batches of fish. The fish is smothered in a masala paste of spices, ginger, and garlic, then fried in huge amounts of coconut oil and curry leaves until it’s juicy and oily and filled with a ridiculous amount of flavor. They had both king fish and pomfret, both of which were delicious. When you sit down to eat, you’re served an entire South Indian meal on a banana leaf of rice and curry and your choice of fish. One of the best meals I ate in Kerala. Total price for 6 people - 1,500 INR ($21.01)

Zain’s Hotel - Kozhikode is known for their afternoon tea and snacks, and so we stopped by Zain’s Hotel for some snacks in the afternoon and a tea.

Soy Protein - When it comes to vegetarian Indian street food, this is about as tasty as they come. The soy protein chunks were filled with spices and curry leaves, and almost tasted like meat. It was insanely delicious. 50 INR ($0.70) - Price per bag

Fruit snacks - Finally we headed to the Calicut beach for some street food snacks - during the night it turns into a slight festival of street food and people hanging out. The environment is fantastic. We had fruit and chutney standing around. 5 INR ($0.7) - Price per piece

Shave Ice - But the best Indian street food of the night was the shave ice, filled with pickled beats and cucumbers, and especially a scoop of spicy chilies. 20 INR ($0.28) - Price per cup

Fried snacks - Finally to end this Indian street food tour of Kozhikode (Calicut), we had some classic Kerala fried street food snacks. 200 INR ($2.80) - Price for everything

Another incredible day of food in Kerala, with the most amazing fish fry I’ve ever had!

BANGKOK, THAILAND - Welcome to Sri Ananda Bhawan, one of the best South Indian food restaurants in Bangkok that specializes in food from Chettinad in Tamil Nadu, South India. Today, we’re going to eat the giant 3,000 THB (around $100) banana leaf thali, that includes 19 different dishes! #IndianFood #Bangkok #Thailand

Chettinad is within the Tamil Nadu state of South India. The food is characterized by lots of chili powder, pepper, and curry leaves. When I heard about the massive 19 item thali, there was no way I could resist. Thanks to Sri Ananda Bhawan and Mr. Rachan, for allowing me to see inside the kitchen as the talented Chef’s prepared all 19 dishes. One of their most well known dishes is the Chettinad crab curry. Onions, tomatoes, garlic, curry leaves, chili powder, pepper, coriander, all tempered down, loaded with crab, Chettinad masala, and coconut milk. The result was something truly spectacular, a combination of spices and ingredients that any curry lover will fall in love with.

Along with the Chettinad crab curry there was chicken 65, fish 65, prawn 65, about three other prawn dishes, 2 mutton dishes, fish masala, tandoori fish, a variety of veg dishes, chicken curries, sambar, and rasam. All laid out on a banana leaf with rice, it was truly a special meal!

I would also mention that although I ordered the massive 19 item thali, which you have to actually pre-order (and I would highly recommend). You can additionally just walk in, and they have many other more simple thalis that you can order - including vegetarian, or just order single dishes. Amazing South Indian food, and specifically one of the only Chettinad restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand.

Coconut Shell Jet Flame!! INDIAN JUNGLE FOOD in Kozhikode! | Kerala, India!

????Huge Biryani in Kerala:

????T-shirts and caps:

KOZHIKODE, INDIA - In this Kerala Indian food videos series, we continued eating our way through Kozhikode, a city and area of Kerala, known for its food. Ebbin took us to a restaurant serving home-style (homely) food in the jungle. #Kozhikode #Kerala #India #IndianFood

One of the main unique things that Uncle cooks here is a rice flour pancake, fried on a clay pan, over fire - but the unique part about the fire, is that he only uses coconut shells - not coconut husks, but coconut shells. The shells give off a jet flame of heat, which really gives the fire a boost so that it ignites and hisses as he fires each of the pancakes.

In addition to these unique Kerala Indian pancakes, they also made a mix of cassava and a variety of different beans and coconut, to also be eaten as a staple. And we also had a chance to watch as they made another astoundingly delicious fish fry, and a fish curry.

After having a few cups of chai and a few rice flour pancakes, we then had our full meal - fish fry, fish curry, cassava mash, and the pancakes.

Eating on a banana leaf, in the jungle of Kerala, with great friends, and amazing hosts, made the experience even better. A jungle paradise in Kerala, India!

Trying Thalaserry DUM BIRYANI at Paris Hotel + Tellicherry Attractions | Kerala, India

???? EBBIN:
???? SEASHELL HARIS BEACH HOME:
???? ROCK SOME DBH GEAR:

My ninth day in Kerala was proving to be as much of a whirlwind as my eighth, as I headed off to the city of Thalassery in the afternoon after starting my morning in Kozhikode. Come along with me as I try Thalassery dum biryani and visit some Tellicherry attractions in Kerala, India!

I started my day at Tellicherry Fort, an 18th-century fort built by the French in 1708. Thalassery is located in northern Kerala. It was one of the most important trading centers for the Europeans during the spice trade.

Although Tellicherry Fort was built by the French, it was later occupied by the British, who reinforced it. It has massive, 10-meter walls, from which you get great views over the Arabian Sea and Thalassery. Inside the walls are cottages where the soldiers lived when they occupied the area. At the highest part of the fort is a lighthouse. Just outside the walls, you can see a school and two churches. It also has secret tunnels that lead out to the sea!

Then, we left to go get some Thalassery dum biryani at the Paris Hotel. In the kitchen, I watched them prepare the biryani and then went back to the dining area to eat. Our Thalassery chicken biryani came with a side of coconut chutney, mango pickle, and salad with yogurt that contains onions and curry leaves.

The biryani was light on the spices and the short-grain rice was really nice. It wasn’t too hot, either. The coconut chutney was like tender coconut turned into a chutney. The chutney gave the biryani a nice crunch and a tropical spin!

The chicken meat was so tender it fell right off the leg. And even though the Thalassery biryani was less aromatic and contained less spices than the Calicut biryani, it was still very good. I also loved the mango chutney, which was potent but outstanding!

The yogurt salad was like a nice curd and the onion gave it a nice crunch. But everything mixed together was unbelievable! It was one of the ultimate biryanis ever!

Then, we headed to a spot called Firoz Cool Bar, which sells juices and shakes. I tried a mixed drink called the Cocktail that contained dried fruits, nuts, papaya, carrots, milk, pomegranate seeds, banana, and more. It was like a refreshing cross between a smoothie and a slushie.

Then, we headed to a snack shop where I tried a bunch of hard, masala-coated fries with curry leaves called chicken legs and hot milk with semolina, noodles, raisins, and salt. The fries were way too hard and the milk was like a hot, watered-down lassi.

Then, we visited Thalassery Pier and drove to Muzhuppilangad Drive-In Beach. I’d never visited a drive-in beach before! It was so awesome and really beautiful, despite us missing the sunset.

We continued toward Kannur, where we’d be staying for the next two nights. We’d be staying at the Seashell Haris Beach Homes, a coastal resort that Ebbin had stayed at several times. They have 12 rooms total.

There, I met Roshan and Mr. Haris. I stayed in an extension of the property. My room had a view of the beach. There was also a large bed, a closet, a mirror, a desk, a table, and a nice bathroom!

When you come to Kannur, I highly recommend doing all the things I did, especially the drive-in beach. I have to thank my boy Ebbin for bringing me here.

I hope you liked coming with me to have Thalassery dum biryani! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and leave a comment below. Also, please subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the notification bell so you don’t miss any of my travel/food adventures around the world!

Rare TRIBAL FOOD in India!! Leaf Basket COOKING! | Kerala, India

????Hot Lava Fish Fry:

Ponmudi, Kerala, India - Early one morning we drove into the mountains of Ponmudi, into the lush jungle, home to one of the incredible indigenous tribes of India. It was an amazing experience to learn about their culture, and especially to watch them prepare a number of truly incredible cooking techniques - unlike anything else I’d ever seen in the world. #India #Kerala

I had no idea what or how they were going to prepare a leaf basket steamer, and I didn’t even know that’s what they were going to prepare from the beginning. So it was even more fascinating for me to watch them prepare this ancient, and rarely ever seen anymore Indian cooking technique. They first heated rocks in a hot fire. Then the next step is they fastened a leaf basket from a specific type of green leaf. When the rocks had heated for a few hours and were white hot, they dropped the leaves into the bottom of the leaf steamer, added in the cassava, wrapped it all in leaves, then added bamboo poles on the inside to feed in water in order to make then entire packet steam and smoke, and cook, all at the same time. The result was a flavor of cassava unlike anything else I’ve had. It was steamed, but had this incredible smokiness to it.

The fish was cooked differently, seasoned with chilies, and then wrapped into a banana leaf packet and tossed directly into the fire. That was cool too, and also delicious. But the highlight was the amazingly unique leaf basket steamer.

It was an honor to have this opportunity to meet, hang out, and learn from this Tribal community in Kerala, India. Thank you!

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, INDIA - This is one of the largest southernmost cities in India, and it’s a city of so much character, great people, and delicious food. I loved the relaxed feel of the city, the vibrant spices, and varieties of dosa, and the amazing chicken curry jacuzzi. For this Indian food tour, we started in the evening the first night, and continued onto the next day with more meals and more delicious food.

#Kerala #India #Thiruvananthapuram #streetfood

Kerala Traditional Restaurant - We pulled up in the van to a Kerala Traditional Restaurant, just outside of Thiruvananthapuram, and they were about to make one final pan of their famous huge pan of country chicken curry. It was absolutely stunning to watch them make an entire pan of curry from the start. The flavor was unbelievably tasty. I loved this restaurant, the owner, and the delicious spices and flavors. 790 INR ($11.01) - Total price for 6 people

Meat curry and dosa - Next up on this Indian food tour of Thiruvananthapuram, we continued the next evening, with mutton curry and dosa - but a different style of dosa from what I normally think of. 720 INR ($10.04) - Total price for everything

Irani Fast Food and Catering - Kerala Paratha - One of the foods you have to eat in Kerala is the combination of beef fry or curry and Kerala paratha. Irani Fast Food and Catering is an amazing street food van, where you’ll get to eat one of the fluffiest and crunchiest parathas I’ve ever had. The texture was outstanding. 90 INR ($1.25) - Price per plate

Vadas and curries - Next we went to a street food stall to eat a variety of vadas, with chutneys and eggs. It was delicious. 40 INR ($0.55) - Price per plate

Omelet varieties - Finally to end this ultimate Indian street food tour of Thiruvananthapuram, Ebbin took us to eat a few different types of omelets. 60 INR ($0.83) - Price per omelet

Again, I loved the relaxed feel and laid-backness of Thiruvananthapuram, and the incredibly tasty food!

Spicy Indian Food!! TODDY SHOP - Fish Head Curry + Fresh Coconut Toddy in Kerala, India!

????Hot Lava Fish Fry:
????Ebbin’s Channel:
????T-shirts and caps:

TODDY - Toddy is the name of palm wine, but really the sap that is tapped from the freshly cut flowers of a palm tree - it’s the sweet juice nectar. From a coconut palm, it’s totally different from the coconut fruit, or coconut water. It’s the sap of the flowers. One of the reasons you won’t find it bottled up or sold far away from the palm trees, is that it spoils and ferments extremely fast.

#Kerala #India #toddy #toddyshop #IndianFood

In Kerala, especially in the backwaters area, coconut toddy is a very popular local beverage, and there’s an entire South Indian, Kerala, culture that revolves around it - including very spicy food. I was thrilled to have a chance to learn about the coconut palm toddy culture of Kerala, taste some toddy, and especially eat some food to pair with it.

First, we started off on a boat, and visiting a toddy tapper. The best coconut palm toddy comes from coconut palms that lean over the water, and the best toddy is from brackish water palms. He showed us the process of slicing the flowers, and draining the sap into a ceramic vase to collect the juice. The sap ferments so fast, in just a few hours, it already turns alcoholic. We had the chance to sample fresh toddy, the juice right out of the flowers. It was sensational, much different from coconut water (from the fruit), and sweeter. Then we continued to a Toddy Shop.

Toddy Shop - Rajapuram Kayal Shop ( - About a 2 hour boat ride, we arrived at Rajapuram Kayal Shop, an amazing location, on its own island in the middle of lakes and lagoons. They were already starting to cook the amazing spicy food, including fish head curry, beef and pork chili fry. Toddy shops are known for cooking very spicy Indian food, with lots of spice and strong flavors, that pair well with coconut toddy. The food was unbelievably spectacular, and one of my favorite dishes of the day was the duck mappas.

For the toddy, we had a fresh toddy, a slightly fermented toddy, a grape infused toddy, and most importantly, and best of all, a chili and ginger toddy.

It was an extremely fun day to learn about Kerala food and culture and meet some amazing people!

Unreal Veg & Non-Veg KERALA FOOD at Vazhiyorakkada Restaurant | Kilimanoor, India

???? VISHNU:
???? WATCH: Dosa Breakfast in Hyderabad
???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE SHIRTS & MERCH:

My second day in God’s Own Country, Kerala, India continued with an unbelievable lunch at a local restaurant. Come along with me as I enjoy veg and non-veg Kerala food like seafood, duck, chicken, and liver at Vazhiyorakkada Restaurant in Kilimanoor, India, and visit Varkala Beach!

After leaving the massive Jatayu sculpture in Chadayamangalam, my boy Vishnu and I continued at Vazhiyorakkada, a traditional Kerala restaurant in Kilimanoor. They make some of the most traditional cuisine in Kerala and sell mostly non-veg foods and lots of different types of curries. Everything is locally-made by a woman in the kitchen!

We took a tour of the kitchen, where saw some papadum, dried fish, super hot chilies, onions, fish curry, parottas, squid thoran, prawn fry, a curry made from the head of a huge fish, and more. Everything looked phenomenal! I sampled a super buttery prawn that was covered in an incredible masala before we went out to the dining hall to eat!

The restaurant has one big dining hall and family rooms on the other side. We ate in the dining hall and ordered their oonu, which is a meal served on a banana leaf. We had a bunch of different vegetable curries, rice, fish curry, liver, chicken curry, duck, and more. Everything looked unreal!

I started with some buttery chicken liver and then went with the parippu, papadum, and rice. It was a delicious first bite! Then, I added a delicious, spicy prawn. I also loved the greenish gravy of the duck roast, which wasn’t spicy at all. I could taste the curry leaf and black pepper in it.

Then, I went for the squid, which contained lots of amazing coconut flavor. I couldn’t get enough of it! The squid was soft and I could tell it was fresh and had never been frozen. Then, I took some of the fish gravy and mixed it into the rice, a bony but deliciously spicy chicken curry, a ginger pickle, and a smoky fish curry!

I then drank some pachadi (pineapple, cheera, and beetroot) right out of my hand. It was spicy and sweet at the same time! Then, I tried a phenomenal quail egg, which was like the best hardboiled egg I’ve had in my life! Everything was so good because it was so fresh and came from the area.

To finish up, I mixed the squid thoran, prawns, rice, coconut with chili, mixed it up, and dug in. It was the best thing ever!

When you finish your meal, you always fold your banana leaf away from you, throw it away, and then wash your hands well.

What an unreal veg and non-veg Kerala food meal at Vazhiyorakkada Restaurant in Kilimanoor, India! It was the grandest meal I’d had on my trip so far and one of my favorite meals ever in India.

From there, we drove from Kilimanoor to Varkala. We passed by six or seven small towns along the main highway, which connects half of India!

Finally, after going the wrong way for a while and getting stuck in a crazy traffic jam because of a passing train, we arrived at the Varkala Cliff Helipad. Right down a narrow alley between lots of houses was our Airbnb, the Palm Bay Beach Residences. It’s a big house with lots of different rooms and is located on the cliffs. I had a king-sized bed and a nice bathroom. They have an apartment and 12 rooms in total.

What an epic afternoon enjoying veg and non-veg Kerala food at Vazhiyorakkada Restaurant in Kilimanoor, India!

I hope you enjoyed coming with us to Vazhiyorakkada Restaurant and Varkala! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and leave a comment below. Also, please subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the notification bell so you don’t miss any of my travel/food adventures around the world!

Why Mark Wiens had to stand and eat Biriyani in Kannur? See the description. Big Biriyani in Kannur

During Mark Wiens' visit to Kerala, he wanted to try some local functions. A wedding function was quite difficult to find, but we got a housewarming function. Later that evening we were also lucky to take part in a wedding ceremony.
After watching Mark's video which was released yesterday in his channel, many people asked me why we were not able to provide good seating arrangements to him.

Why Mark opted to stand and eat Biriyani in the housewarming ceremony? Where the hosts too indecent to Mark and his team? Why this housewarming ceremony?
While Mark contacted me, just a few days before his visit to Kerala, he wanted to visit a few places where I shot videos. He also wanted to capture the local living, festivals, and cultural events. It was tough to find one suddenly. However, with the help of Roshan (from Seashell Haris Beach Home: we got a housewarming ceremony.
The hosts invited over 1500 people and more than 2000 people attended the ceremony. Though the hosts knew nothing about Mark Wiens (they were not that familiar with YouTubers and vlogging), they welcomed Mark and his team. Mark's wife was invited to join the female members of the family, and she happily enjoyed a good time with them.
For Mark, Joel, and me the objective was to capture the cooking process. We tried our best to cover most of it. We started at 3:30 in the morning and Mark easily mingled with the chefs and the people associated with the hosting family.
Later, after all the cooking, when we wanted to try the biriyani, at the seating arrangement there was a blue plastic roof which gave a bluish light that did not look good for the video. Moreover, the place that was filled with 2000 guests was tough to be a shooting spot. We then decided to stand a bit away from the place and try the cuisine.
The hosting family gave ample respect to Mark, but they couldn't sit around throughout the shooting session as they had many more guests to attend. However, they were so good that they visited us frequently to know if we needed anything. Mark was extremely happy with all arrangements and he mentioned this in his video too.
Another comment I received on Mark's video was why I did not mention Wayanad and Palakkad while speaking about the Malabar region.
I admit that it was my mistake. I missed the two districts unintentionally and my sincere apologies for that.
