Enjoy the lovely view of Bumthang valley. One sees the Jakar dzong in the beginning of the video.
Jakar and Bumthang are neighbors and are pretty far from the capital city of Bhutan - Thimphu. There are interesting facts of Bumthang,
1. Known as a ghost valley (Historic)
2. People from Bumthang are known as Bumthap's.
3. Like Kashimiri ladies, Bumthang ladies wears a scraf covering the forhead and it is followed till date.
4. Bumthap's Kepta (Roti) made out of bitter and sweet bucket is really famous.
5. They have their own local language which is difficult to understand.
6. Bumthang is recognised as the mini Switzerland of Bhutan.
