Trousdale Estates is a neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California. It was developed in the 1950s and 1960s and is named after Paul Trousdale, a real estate developer.
As of September 2019, the average sale price of a home in Trousdale Estates was over $11 million.
Celebrity residents have included Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Curtis, Ray Charles, Howard Hughes, and Groucho Marx. President Richard Nixon lived in the neighborhood. When Nixon, who had just been Vice President from 1953 to 1961 under President Dwight D. Eisenhower, purchased his residence, Frank McCullogh of the Los Angeles Times reported that he had paid only $90,000 for a house whose real price was $300,000 as the developers believed his name would add prestige to the neighborhood. More recently, Jennifer Aniston, Elton John, David Spade, Zoë de Givenchy, Vera Wang, John Rich, Jane Fonda, Richard Perry, Markus Persson, Ringo Starr, Simon Cowell, and Charlie Puth have lived in the neighborhood. Jeffery Katzenberg, who co-founded DreamWorks, bought a $35 million, 8,704 square feet (808.6 m2) mansion in Trousdale Estates from Simon Ramo, an American physicist, engineer, and business leader. Katzenberg hosted fundraisers for President Barack Obama at this mansion. In July 2019, Uber co-founder Garrett Camp and his wife Eliza Nguyen bought an 11,000 square feet (1,000 m2) mansion for $72.5 million in Trousdale Estates. In August 2021, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber sold their home in Trousdale Estates for a reported $13.5 million.

Touring A $25 Million Midcentury Mansion In Beverly Hills | Forbes
Restored and expanded for a 2020s lifestyle, this artful Midcentury Modern home in Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates traces its origins to a starlet and a master architect.
The minimalist residence was built for Paris-born actress Corinne Calvet, who voiced Rita Hayworth in French versions of American films. She would go on to be signed by Paramount, MGM and 20th Century Fox, starring alongside such leading men as John Drew Barrymore and Danny Kaye.

Bel Air is situated about 12 miles (19 km) west of Downtown Los Angeles, set entirely within the Santa Monica Mountains. It lies across Sunset Boulevard from the northern edge of the main campus of the University of California, Los Angeles. At the heart of the community sits the Bel-Air Country Club and the Hotel Bel-Air.
Together with Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills, Bel Air forms the Platinum Triangle of Los Angeles neighborhoods.
Along with Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles community of Brentwood, Bel Air is part of a high-priced area on the Westside known as the three Bs.
Television shows and films have been filmed in Bel Air, or are said to take place in the community. Exterior shots for the Beverly Hillbillies were shot in and around 750 Bel Air Road,[38] built by Lynn Atkinson (and later sold to hotelier Arnold Kirkeby after Atkinson's wife refused to move into a house she thought too ostentatious). Several scenes in the film Get Hard (2015) were set in Bel Air. Exterior scenes from films such as Get Shorty (1995) have also been filmed in the area.[citation needed] Several episodes of the television show The Rockford Files were filmed in Bel Air.
The television sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, starring actor and rapper Will Smith, was set in the neighborhood, although the exterior shots used were filmed in nearby Brentwood.
