Quieting my Onan QG2500i Inverter generator with the 0155-2449 Resonator
Installing the Onan Cummins 0155-2449 Resonator on a 2500/2800 generator is a quick and easy way to quiet down the exhaust tone.
When listening to the sound at a perpendicular angle to the exhaust, there's sound reduction isn't as noticeable as when you are directly facing the exhaust.
The HGLAA inverter generator I have is significantly quieter than the HGJBB non inverter generator it replaced, but this resonator helped quiet it further.

We tested the Honda EU2200I, Honda EU3000IS and the Champion 3650W. We show starting each generator and compare the noise levels. We discuss which of the three portable generators is best to power our camper at home and while camping.
