DUBAI, UAE - We’re in Dubai, and today we’re going on a huge local food tour with my friend @RuzainaHadgie . She’s taking us to a few of her favorite restaurants for affordable Dubai food - from local Emirati food to Bangladeshi food to Kerala Indian food.

Here are all the places we went:

Arabian Tea House ( - First up on this Dubai food tour we went to Arabian Tea House which is one of the most well known Emirati restaurants and cafes in the city. Completely by coincidence we happen to meet up with the owner, Ali Al Rais, who hung out with us and showed us some of his favorite dishes on the menu. We ordered the Emirati breakfast set, plus Ali’s favorite breakfast, which included eggs scrambled with tomato. An amazing restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious local food.

Al Damyati Restaurant ( - Next up we went to Al Damyati Restaurant, an Egyptian restaurant, to eat their legendary grilled lamb chops. They were spectacular, and incredibly juicy. Additionally we had some Egyptian pickles and hummus.

Bondhu Restaurant ( - Next up on this ultimate Dubai food tour we went to Bondhu Restaurant, a hole in the wall Bangladeshi restaurant. Their biryani and variety of Bangladeshi curries were incredibly flavorful. Once you have a meal like this, so packed with flavor, it’s hard to ever go back to less spicy food. An amazing place and highly recommended in Dubai.

Aaraamam Restaurant ( - Aaraamam Restaurant is a restaurant that specializes in Kerala Indian food, most famously for their beef fry and paratha. The combination is out of this world, beef chunks in either dry or gravy form, with so many spices, coconut, and curry leaves, all sopped up with extremely flaky paratha. There’s not doubt this is one of the best things to eat when you’re in Dubai.

Fish Market Dubai - Finally to wrap up this food tour in Dubai, we drove out to the Fish Market Dubai. The fish market is nicely set up and quite clean, and there’s a huge range of different seafood to choose from. Unfortunately it can be a bit of an aggressive environment. But hold strong choose your seafood and make sure you agree on a price. After you buy your seafood, you can then go to a restaurant and have them cook it on spot. A nice Dubai seafood experience and a great way to end this amazing food tour.

Thanks again to my friend Ruzaina, go check out here channel here:

Thank you to Visit Dubai for inviting me on this food tour of Dubai!
???? Amazing Fruit Mountain in Thailand:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - Welcome to Dubai, UAE, and today we’re going on an ultimate 48 hour food tour of Dubai. We’ll be eating traditional Emirati food, Iranian, Pakistani, Indian, and local street food fast food. It’s going to be an amazing two days of eating our way through Dubai and I can’t wait to share it all with you now!

Here are all the places we ate:

Al Jawareh Traditional Restaurant ( - This restaurant specializes in traditional Emirati food, a little outside of the center of the city. I especially love the omelet with tomato and chabab bread that you can eat with cheese and date syrup.

Al Fareej Restaurant ( - Next up, Iraian food and a massive kebab tray that included a big variety. Of course kebab koobideh is the king of all kebabs and it was delicious.

Mumbai Express Restaurant and Cafe ( - Next up we ate at Mumbai Express, an Indian restaurant serving mainly Mumbai snacks, chaats, and light meals. Their pav bhaji was fantastic.

Ravi Restaurant ( - One of the meals of this entire Dubai food tour was at Ravi Restaurant that’s probably the most well known Pakistani food in all of Dubai. Their food is outstanding, including the variety of grilled meats and especially their mutton Peshawari.

Al Ijaza Cafeteria ( - Next up, Al Ijaza Cafeteria which is one of the most family street food / fast food spots in Dubai. They have a humorous and creative menu highlights sandwiches and grilled meats with a huge selection of milkshakes and fruit shakes.

Sonara Camp ( - Finally to complete this ultimate Dubai food tour, we headed out to the desert to the luxurious Sonara Camp. There was entertainment and food and a great family and special meal experience.

Again, a huge thank you to Visit Dubai for sponsoring my trip to Dubai and for filming and producing this video.

Dubai Food - RARE Camel Platter - WHOLE Camel w/ Rice + Eggs - Traditional Emirati Cuisine in UAE!

My new blog:
Dubai Food is incredibly delicious! Check out for 3 months free w/ 1 year pack and 49% OFF! We visited Dubai in the UAE to try some traditional Emirati Cuisine, and joined up with our friend Peyman to eat a whole camel platter with rice and eggs!

►Check out Peyman's Channel Here:

► The BEST VPNs for China:

This is a traditional Emirati meal that is usually reserved for special occasions or very exclusive guests. It's not a normal Dubai Street Food, but that's why it's so good. It is an extremely rare Arab food nowadays! You have to be incredibly lucky to experience this whole camel platter! This is definitely one of the must try foods in Dubai! It is a traditional Emirati food and is one of the best things to do in Dubai. Camel meat is something that may be sensitive to some viewers, so make sure you're comfortable with watching the camel cooking! The chefs who prepared the camel recipe were originally from the South of India in Kerala, but have been living in Dubai for over 20 years.

If you're thinking of traveling to Dubai for a food trip, you can't go wrong, there is so much delicious Emirati cuisine and amazing street food to try! I must admit, most of the food is in Dubai restaurants that are clean and quiet, but that is part of the charm of Dubai.

First, Peyman and I checked out the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and then made our way to the one and only Camel Restaurant, address below:

Entire Camel Platter in Dubai: Zaman Awal Restaurant
Address: Al Boom Village, Dubai, UAE, United Arab Emirates

If you're wondering if you should eat street food in Dubai or go for regular restaurants in Dubai, I recommend mixing it up and going for both. In this food video, we are solely visiting one of the best restaurants in dubai for the whole camel plate.

Ultimate PAKISTANI STREET FOOD Tour in Dubai!! 16 Hours Eating Biryani + Balloon-Sized Puris!!

Best Pakistani food in Dubai! Go check out @thefoodranger and @Alinhamdani!!
???? Dubai Emirati food tour:

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - Welcome to Dubai, which is one of the most diverse cities in the world with an amazing array of delicious and authentic food. Today we’re going on an ultimate 16 hours Pakistani street food tour in Dubai and Sharjah!

Again be sure to follow Trevor and Ali on their youtube channels and social media.

Ok, let’s get started eating, here are all the places:

1. Pakistan Sweets, Sharjah UAE ( - We started off with Pakistani breakfast, and some of the biggest puri’s I’ve ever seen in my life. They were literally birthday balloon sized pieces of fried bread that completely puffed up as soon as they hit the oil. With the chickpea curry, they were delicious. Pakistani food breakfast of champions.

2. Mathaq Alzafran Pastry, Sharjah, UAE ( - Immediately across the street you’ll find another Pakistani food breakfast favorites, payas, or goat feet stewed.

3. Al Ashiyah Cafeteria ( - Al Ashiyah Cafeteria serves one of my favorite foods of all time - Pakistani chapli kebab. They are huge patty's of meat mixed with spices, and in this case an entire omelet, and fried in fat in a huge jacuzzi sized pan. Amazing you can get the real deal in Dubai!

4. Pak Liyari Al Nahda ( - Next up on this ultimate Dubai Pakistani food tour we headed to Pak Liyari Al Nahda, where they serve one of the best biryani in Dubai. Their biryani is so fluffy and fragrant with just the right amount of spice and oily meats. Absolutely delicious, and don’t miss their green chicken!

5. Mama Machi Restaurant ( - Next up, Pakistani fried fish, and it actually has a unique story in that the restaurant is fully run by Keralites, yet they still serve Pakistani style fried fish. Highly recommended, really tasty.

6. Bar.B.Q Tonight ( - Finally to complete this food tour, there was no way we could go on a Pakistani food tour without eating a karahi and bbq meats. We also met up with some great friends and fellow creators for a delicious celebration Pakistani meal!

???? Dubai Food Tour:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - It was great to hang out with my great friend Peyman Al Awadhi when we were in Dubai and we had an opportunity to cook and eat a huge Arabian Gulf Emirati seafood meal at the park in the desert. Huge thanks to Chef Mohammad ( - from Al Banoosh Restaurant for cooking this incredible feast.

We first arrived to the park, one of the oldest and biggest in Dubai, and laid out the mats to start the festivities. Chef Mohammad brought the fresh catch of the day including a full tuna, some huge local shrimp, and entire school of mullet fish, and a variety of minced shark. He grilled and roasted all the different seafood. The shark was was minced and mixed with spices like cardamom and drizzled in animal fat. The mullets were coated in a thick layer of salt and then roasted until black. All the seafood was placed on huge trays of fluffy rice and eaten with the variety of seafood, drizzled in melted animal fat, and chased with a variety of fresh herbs.

It was an amazing meal, and an authentic Emirati, really Arabian Gulf food coastal seafood meal.

Thank you again to Peyman and Chef Mohammad and everyone else that set this up for us.

Traditional EMIRATI FOOD TOUR with Peymal Al Awadhi in DUBAI, UAE!!

????PEYMAN:
???? MY TRAVEL/FOOD BLOG:

Of course, there was no way I could visit Dubai and not link up with the undisputed food king of the UAE for some traditional local food! Join me as I go on a traditional Emirati food tour with my friend Peyman Al Awash in Dubai, UAE!

Peyman is an incredible food and travel content creator based in the UAE. He and I have been in contact for years but this was our first time actually meeting in person!

???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH:

We’d be hitting up three authentic Emirati spots in the Jumeirah area. They’re rare, so I was excited. Our food adventure began at Nahash Restaurant. Inside is a huge dining hall, and they also have som private dining rooms lined with pillows and cushions.

It was super comfortable! Rooms like this are rare now. The pillows are traditionally hand-embroidered. A lot of people build tents with rooms like this in the desert!

Nahash offers Emirati, Yemeni, and Persian dishes, but we’d only be going with Emirati. I couldn’t wait to try the hobool (deep-fried fish roe sacks) and jasheed (fried minced reef shark)!

We started with some dark and thick Turkish coffee, followed by a simple salad with lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. It came with some chicken stock with cumin!

Next, the rice with caramelized onions, jasheed, hobool, yogurt, and machboos arrived. The hobool was almost like fish fingers and went well with the tzatziki-like yogurt. It was a nice, oily appetizer.

The jasheed looked almost like scrambled eggs. The cilantro and lemon zest on top really made it! Adding it to the white rice and drizzling a bit of animal fat on top made it really delicious! Even though it’s shark, you an only have it here and only in-season to prevent over-fishing.

Adding a tomato gravy to the rice gave it another burst of flavor! The machboos laham was very fragrant. I loved the smoky, fatty lamb. It felt very similar to biryani. The yogurt helped glue it together. It’s the ultimate Emirati dish!

Back out in the restaurant, I tried some fresh bread and then we drove through Dubai to Al-Jalboot Restaurant right on the sea. It had a very Greek feel.

We started with Arabic coffee, which was tasty and aromatic. The cardamom flavor was amazing. Next were sukkari dates, which were extremely sugary and went very well with the coffee.

Next, we had chili potatoes from Lebanon and Jordan, chicken thareed (a thick stew with bread, carrots, and potatoes), and kingfish salona with tomatoes and carrots.

The potatoes had lots of garlic and had a heat that sneaks up on you. Jarjeera, or arugula served as a palate cleanser. I loved the chicken thareed was a nice, stew-like curry with soggy bread inside.

The kingfish salona with rice was really great. It wasn’t too fishy or salty because it was super fresh! I loved the tomato-based gravy.

Finally, we headed to Arabian Tea House Restaurant & Cafe near the Burj Khalifa. There, we finished our tour with Emirati tea and esserts. We could see guys in the kitchen making bread and kebabs.

Suleimani tea, karak chai, luqeimat (donut holes with date syrup, walnuts, and sesame seeds), and more. The chai was a little sweet, and the luqeimat was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I loved them with the Suleimani tea.

Finally was khabisah, a crumbly, pasty dough dish with cardamom, rose water, and saffron. It was sweet but not too sweet. I loved it!

Eating INDIAN FOOD for 24 HOURS with Minority Taste in ABU DHABI, UAE!!

????RUZAINA:
???? MY TRAVEL/FOOD BLOG:

After exploring the cities of Dubai and Sharjah, I set out on a day of eating Indian food in a new city with my friend Ruzaina from Minority Taste! Join me as I eat Indian food for 24 hours with Minority Taste in Abu Dhabi, UAE!

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE. We’d be hitting up all the best spots in the city. Our Indian food journey began at Sangeetha Restaurant for a south Indian breakfast!

???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH:

It reminded me of a south Indian diner. We went with a ghee roast paper dosa, idli, vada, rava dosa, and chai. We also had sambar, coconut chutney with green chilies, tomato chutney with red chilies, and white coconut chutney with mustard seeds!

The tomato was full of flavor and the paper dosa was nice and crunchy. We washed it down with some filtered coffee!

The sambar was like a thicker and creamier lentil and tomato stew and felt super healthy. I loved the mild, sweet white coconut chutney as well. It was so fresh! But my favorite was the tomato!

Next was the rava dosa, which is crispy and doughy, and full of holes. It also contained some green chilies and peppercorns. It was really good!

We followed that with idli. Ruzaina and I poured the sambar and chutneys on top of the idli and broke it up to mix it all together.

The vada with the white coconut and tomato chutneys was really nice. I loved how fluffy it was!

Then, we had a palate cleanser and then headed to India Palace Restaurant for North Indian food! The decor inside was really beautiful!

They also have a market where they sell jewelry, figurines, decorative mirrors, and more. They also make bangles using natural wax!

At our table, we had the lamb seekh kebabs, roomali roti, chai, papadum, and two curries.

The papadum with tamarind chutney was a crispy/sweet combo, while the achar added some sourness.

Next was the dum ka zafrani murgh, which is chicken cooked in an almond sauce, and palak paneer. The palak paneer with the roti was flavorful.

The kebabs had some heat to them, while the dum ka zafrani murgh was rich, creamy, and unique. The gravies were unreal! Finally, we finished with some chai!

Next, we headed through the center of Abu Dhabi to Ritaj Restaurant for the city’s best biryani. It’s a small spot that sells about 6 types. They’re famous for their Chicken 65 biryani!

After a fresh salad of chilies, onions, cucumbers, and carrots, we jumped on the chicken 65 biryani. We also had raita and a chicken gravy.

The chicken alone was flavorful and spicy, and was creamier with the raita and gravy. The marinade on the chicken was fantastic!

Next, they brought us some gosht ka marag (white lamb curry) and some delicious, fluffy bread that absorbed the curry. It was tender and peppery! The lamb rib was outstanding!

Then, we needed a break from eating and explored the commercial area of the city before stopping at Madurai Restaurant.

We started with laban, which is like a sour milk. After watching them make a blue crab semi-roast curry and chicken fried rice containing egg, cabbage, chili powder, and more.

The rice felt very Indo-Chinese. I loved the chilies, and the gravy on the crab semi roast was outstanding. The meat was very sweet!

The manager brought me some gulab jamun to calm down the heat! It contained cumin and cardamom!

Finally, we went to a Kuttyes Restaurant, a Kerala-style restaurant inside a vegetable market. I saw lots of snacks outside, and after seeing them make beef curry and kitchen curry, parottas, crab, and massive prawns!

After a refreshing lime juice, we dove into the amazing beef fry, karak (chai), flaky parotta, and beef curry! The flaky parotta with the beef fry and curry leaves was outstanding. The beef curry was unreal, too!

DUBAI, UAE - Welcome to Dubai! Well actually today we’re flying from Los Angeles directly to Dubai on Emirates Business Class. And I’m going to show you all the food and even the amazing cocktail bar on the airplane - that was a first for me!

So we set off from Los Angeles in the middle of the afternoon, everything went smooth. On our flight we had a choice of a variety of meals, and I chose the Middle Eastern / Emirati food option. First was a mezze starter, and then came the giant shrimp machboos, a traditional Arabian Gulf dish of rice and dried lemons and spices, and without a doubt the biggest shrimp / prawns I’ve ever had on an airplane.

One of the unique features of flying on an A380 on Emirates Business class is that they have a cocktail bar at the back of the airplane where you can order drinks and food at any time!

Thank you so much for watching and stay tuned for a few special videos from Dubai, UAE!

During our Dubai food tour, we got the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of Emirati cuisine under the guidance of our gracious host cum friend Peyman Al Awadhi. He is one of Dubai's celebrated food and travel vloggers and a media professional. For this we went on a day-long excursion to the Al Khayma Desert Camp in Al Awir that introduces visitors to the bedouin heritage, tradition, culture and hospitality. With such a knowledgeable and foodie host alongside, we were all excited for this novel gastronomic experience.

The camp has been set up in the heart of the desert with the best of amenities. The idea behind this was to familiarize tourists and even locals with the desert lifestyle followed by the bedouins. On reaching there we were welcomed by a coffee ritual, a big part of Emirati culture. Peyman familiarized us with the whole process that the host follows while serving coffee to his guest.

Next we ventured out to the food section. While heading there we got fascinated by the loban or a special plant resin which is burnt for fragrance and rose water which is offered to guests as a refreshing thing. Next the super hospitable and genial attendants over there offered us some Luquamit. This was followed by a regag which is a paper thin crepe smeared with various spreads and condiments. The interesting and daunting thing about this classic snack is the way the sticky dough is spread over the hot griddle by hand.

Next Peyman led us to the kabab section, where

a whole bunch of skewers were ready to be grilled. Here they serve Emirati, Levant and Arabic cuisines but our focus was on Emirati cuisine. We then headed to the main buffet area where a plethora of delicacies were arranged for the guests. But Peyman made sure that we get to taste only the traditional Emirati fares as intended. So we got ourselves some lamb ouzi, chicken machboos and veg saloona and headed to a secluded spot to have it.

Peyman asked us to start with the lamb ouzi which was basically braised lamb served on a bed of rice. The meat was super tender, succulent and very lightly spiced. The rice too was mild in flavour and complemented the juicy lamb meat. Next he asked us to try the machboos which is the national dish of UAE. It was more rich and robust in taste than the ouzi because here the meat is first cooked in a rich onion, tomato and spices based gravy and removed aside. Then rice is cooked in that broth and finally the meat is mixed with this flavorful rice. Here the rice had more body in it because of the rich gravy. Finally we ended with the veg saloona which was tart and spicy because of the use of a special spice blend and dried lemon.

After this soul satisfying meal, we finally reached the kabab counter to dig our teeth into some koobideh kabab that Peyman approved as one of the best things over here. These succulent Iranian minced meat kabab were indeed heavenly and trying it right off the skewers and with freshly baked naan was absolutely bliss.

After this we visited the dessert section where we opted for basbousa, aseeda bobbar and umm ali. The former was a soft semolina cake, the second one was a pumpkin pudding and the final one was a puff pastry and cream based sweet dish. The flavours of pumpkin pudding and umm ali were close to atta halwa and shahi tukda respectively.

After all this heavy meal we went on to have a sulemani chai which is believed to aid digestion. Over this refreshing beverage unfolded a heartwarming and enriching conversation with Peyman. A notable memory that cropped up during this interaction was that of the legend Anthony Bourdain whom Peyman had the privilege to familiarize with Emirati cuisine.

This heartening conversation was followed by khaleeji dance performance, fire stunts and a thrilling camel ride. Overall it was a day full of gustatory delights and deep dive into the Emirati culture all because of our super knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genial host Peyman.
