Tarawa Atoll is an atoll and the capital of the Republic of Kiribati, in the central Pacific Ocean. Tarawa Atoll comprises North Tarawa, which has much in common with other, more remote islands of the Gilberts group; and South Tarawa, which is home to 50,182 as of 2010 – half of the country's total population. The atoll is best known by outsiders as the site of the Battle of Tarawa during World War II.
Kiribati, an island republic in the Central Pacific, comprises 33 coral atolls and isles stretching along the equator. Palmerston Island is one of those places we’ll remember forever. It’s the most remote place we’ve ever sailed, but that isn’t what makes it so memorable. The islanders have completely immersed us into their world from the moment we set our feet in the sand.
When we decided to buy a boat and set off into the deep blue, I dreamed of all the possibilities and experiences we would have. But I never expected it to play out so vividly in reality.
Yet, here we are, far away from civilization, living off coconuts and fish, playing with free spirited island kids and seeing firsthand what life is like when you live isolated with 34 of your relatives.

This is the deserted island of Tepuka in the main Tuvalu atoll chain of islands. Tupuka is a small, beautiful, uninhabited island on the Western side of Funafuiti Atoll.

Ahhh the aura of Bora Bora ????????????
There is something magical about those two words: Bora Bora. The most famous island in the French Polynesian islands, Bora Bora is known for a reason. Its breathtaking lagoon of blue and majestic emerald mountains are something straight out of a magazine!
Today we dream of these sparkling waters from a private island called Fare Ahuna, set just offshore of the mainland. This tiny atoll has a few special sandy coves. This beach in particular has an unbeatable view of blue and those mountains, too. Woo hoo ????✨????
