Beach Food Paradise!! ???? SLIPPER LOBSTER NOODLES in Narathiwat, Deep South Thailand!

???? Arabian Thai Food - Huge Biryani:

Narathiwat (นราธิวาส), Thailand - Welcome to Thailand’s deep south, Narathiwat (นราธิวาส) is located on the East coast and border Malaysia. People are incredibly friendly, the coastline is spectacular, dotted with fishing villages, and the seafood is unimaginably fresh. In this video, we only had a short time in Narathiwat, so we went straight to eat tom yum seafood on the beach! #Narathiwat #Thailand #tomyum

Near to Narathiwat airport, there’s Ban Thon Beach, home to a number of street food shacks on the beach that serve mind blowing tom yum noodles and seafood. Actually it’s not even really called tom yum, but they mix of sour, salty, and sweet, made it taste like tom yum. They are actually chicken noodles, and they are served with a variety of seafood that you can order - everything insanely fresh - which you eat with your noodles. I’ve had many combinations of dishes, but throughout Thailand, I can’t say I’ve ever had a seafood feast with only bowls of soup noodles - no rice. It was a delicious combination and worked perfectly.

Along with our bowls of chicken noodles, we had fish, ultra fresh squid, crab, and slipper lobster - everything outstanding. All she did was boil each of the seafoods for the perfect amount of time, then sprinkle each with a dozen different seasonings, and then ladled on a scoop of soup broth to complete the tom yum sauce experience. I thought everything might be too sweet at first, but the flavor really balanced out - the taste was perfect.

300 Years Mosque (มัสยิด 300 ปี) Al-Hussein Mosque - After the beach and tom yum seafood noodles, we drove over to what’s called the 300 Years Mosque (มัสยิด 300 ปี), or better as the Al-Hussein Mosque. This original wooden mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Thailand.

Aeh Roti (แอ โรตี) - Finally to complete this street food tour in Narathiwat (นราธิวาส), Thailand we drove to the center of the city where we first enjoyed some delicious Narathiwat fish crackers, followed by local style roti and mataba. It was a perfect way to end this day of street food in Narathiwat with roti and great friends.

I loved our short trip to Narathiwat and hope to visit again in the future!

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

Traditional MALAY FOOD in Thailand!! ????️ Nobody Makes This Food Anymore!

???? Huge Thai Arabian Biryani:
???? Subscribe for NEW VIDEOS:

PATTANI, THAILAND (ปัตตานี) - One afternoon in Pattani, Deep South of Thailand, we drove out to Talo Samilae Village (ตะโละสะมิแล), a small village on a peninsula. Along with walking around the local weekly market, Papa from Papa Tagu ( cooked a rare and insanely delicious local duck and herb soup. Cooking and eating by the beach was an experience I’ll never forget. Amazing friends and amazing food! #Thailand #MalayFood #streetfood

First, we arrived to the village and started to walk around the market that takes places just once a week. There were clothes and daily necessities, but mainly there was food - both cooked food and raw ingredients. Much of the cooked food and snacks were Malay. I tried a few desserts, some traditional Malay desserts as well, which were excellent.

After we walked around the market for a while, I walked around with Papa to buy ingredients for a special duck soup. He bought huge quantities of chilies, lemongrass, garlic, shallots, pepper, and chilies.

The soup is Soup Dorae (ซุปตอเระ) ซุปเป็ดสมุนไพร) - a traditional Pattani food of duck boiled with a huge quantity of Thai medicinal herbs. The cooking process was amazing, and it was incredible how balanced the flavor was with how many pungent and strong spicy ingredients used. I absolutely loved it, one of my new favorite dishes. It burned your mouth and through slightly, but in an incredibly soothing way. They also cooked another local Pattani Malay food dish of squid stuffed with glutinous rice and cooked in coconut milk and palm sugar. It was a dessert - squid for dessert - and it was excellent.

An amazing day in Pattani, incredibly delicious Malay food and amazing friends! Thank you again to Papa for cooking and for arranging this outstanding meal in Pattani.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

Deep South of Thailand - Narathiwat

After visiting Pattani it was then on to Narathiwat which lies right down on the Malaysian border beside the Gulf of Thailand. I first visited a big waterfall that had Thai families and kids swimming in the water; a beautiful old wooden mosque; a beach on an island just to the north of the provincial capital as well as Narathiwat town itself. Things felt different here to the rest of Thailand - neither Thai nor Malaysian but sort of Middle Eastern or a bit like Brunei (minus the oil!).

Backyard Food Paradise!! Farm to Table THAI FOOD in the Rainforest!! | Khao Sok, Thailand

???? Ultimate Fried Chicken Tour in Hat Yai:
???? Rungfah Farm:

Welcome to the stunning Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani, Thailand! I had the chance to hang out with P’You from Rungfah Farm: His property backs up to the mountains and the lush green rainforest, it’s pristine. And the best thing about P’You is his love and respect for nature, and his organic farm.

To begin with we first went around his farm, some of which is grown, some of which grows wild, and harvested ingredients for lunch. From fruits to vegetables and herbs, Rungfah Farm is full of tropical things to eat - for me it’s a fresh food paradise - and around his farm you can find almost all the ingredients you need for a Thai food feast. On top of that, P’You has amazing knowledge of ingredients, and their uses for cooking and medicinal value. He’s so laid back and so friendly, and he’s part of the reason why visiting Rungfah Farmstay is so much fun.

After walking round the farm for a while, we got started cooking, and the cooked some common Thai dishes, as well as a few jungle survival style dishes - like rice cooked in bamboo over open fires.

Here are the other dishes that P’You and his wife made for us:

Chicken curry
Snake fruit chili dip
Banana blossom tempura
Fried bamboo shoots
Fried melinjo leaves

It was a delicious Thai meal, and for me the best thing about it was that it was cooked with love using natural, local, and ultimately freshly picked ingredients from Rungfah Organic Farm right in the jungle of Khao Sok, Thailand!

Great experience, highly recommended. Thank you to P’You from Rungfah Farm: for hosting me on this day of backyard cooking.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

Gas Station Street Food!! GREATEST UMAMI MEAL in The Fish Sauce Capital!

???? Slipper Lobster Tom Yum in Narathiwat -
???? Restaurant is Khrua Nasi Ulang (ครัวนาซิ อุลังค์)

Sai Buri (สายบุรี) - Welcome to Sai Buri, in Pattani province, on the border of Narathiwat in Thailand. This is the best and most well known area for Malay style fermented anchovy sauce, known locally as Nam budu (น้ำบูดู).

Khrua Nasi Ulang (ครัวนาซิ อุลังค์ Here’s the restaurant: - This amazing restaurant in Sai Buri, serves a dish called Nasi Ulang, a Malay dish of rice and a variety of vegetables (and also a variety of fish and curries), all served with tempoyak (fermented durian) and importantly, a few different types of fermented anchovy sauce.

Nasi Ulang is a meal that is also very common in the northern Malaysian province on Kelantan, which shares the same culture with this area in Thailand. The food was outstanding, the variety of vegetables and all the different dipping sauces, and the mis of fermented durian with fermented anchovy sauce - it’s a flavor that will always excite your mouth.

After lunch we drove down the road, and just into Narathiwat to see a small family run nam budu (น้ำบูดู), fermented anchovy sauce factory. It was great to learn about how it’s prepared and the important role that fermented anchovy sauce plays in the local Malay food of Pattani and Narathiwat.

Huge thank you to Muhammad and Rus from Papa Tagu ( for taking me around on another incredible day of Thai and Malay food in Pattani!

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

24 Toppings Buffet - EPIC CURRY NOODLES - Amazing Street Food in Asia!

???? Thai Street Food - Surat Thani:
???? 100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

Khanom Jeen (ขนมจีน) - Southern Thailand is known for its Khanom Jeen (ขนมจีน), a type of rice noodles eaten with a variety of different Thai curry on top, and with a host of different toppings and vegetables that you can eat on the side and top of your bowl of curry noodles. It’s extremely popular as a fast and easy Thai street food. Today, we’re in the Phang Nga (พังงา) province of southern Thailand, known for their curry, and I can’t wait to share this epic curry noodles with you. #Thailand #ThaiFood #streetfood

Khanom Jeen Baan Bang Kan (ขนมจีนบ้านบางกัน) - - The first curry noodles restaurant we went to was a little outside of the city of Phang Nga, in a nice relaxing lush area. I had two bowls of curry noodles to get me started khanom jeen gaeng tai pla (ขนมจีนแกงไตปลา) - a curry of fermented fish viscera, and khanom jeen nam ya (ขนมจีนน้ำยา) - a coconut milk based curry. Both were outstanding. The best part of this restaurant was the finely sliced torch ginger that they gave to us as we were eating - that really bumped up the flavor of every bite. Price - 30 THB ($0.92) per bowl

Khanom Jeen Na San Jao (ขนมจีนหน้าศาลเจ้า) - - This is the most legendary, most well known khanom jeen restaurant in Phang Nga, and located right in the town. Since it’s so famous I was a little worried it would be over hyped. But I was wrong, it held up to its name, I was truly impressed by the outstanding flavor and spices of their curries, and their insane 24 toppings selection to choose from - all spread out like a buffet across communal tables. Again, I ordered a bowl of Khanom Jeen Nam Ya (ขนมจีนน้ำยา) - a coconut milk based Thai curry, and next a bowl of Khanom Jeen Gaeng Ba (ขนมจีนแกงป่า) - a jungle herbal spicy curry. Again for were exceptional.

If there’s one Thai street food meal to eat when you’re in Phang Nga (พังงา), Thailand, it’s got to be khanom jeen. It’s a favorite meal for many, and these two restaurants will thrill your taste buds.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

???? Pa Ngiao Restaurant (ร้านอาหารป้าเงี้ยว):

PHATTHALUNG, THAILAND (พัทลุง) - Welcome to Phatthalung, located in Southern Thailand, it’s one of my favorite provinces in Thailand. The people are amazing, it’s so peaceful and quiet, and the food is spicy and powerful. Today we’re going to eat at a small family run restaurant, where they serve ultimate Southern Thai food and specialize in local seafood, especially freshwater shrimp. #ThaiFood #Phatthalung #tomyum

Pa Ngiao Restaurant (ร้านอาหารป้าเงี้ยว) is in Phatthalung, near to Lake Songkhla. And something to note is that there’s not ocean front coastline in Phatthalung, but they do have lakefront. And so there is a different variety of seafood available than other parts of Southern Thailand.

From the look of Pa Ngiao Restaurant (ร้านอาหารป้าเงี้ยว), I already knew it was going to be my kind of restaurant. The family was friendly and they took care and pride in their dishes. We ordered a mix of different dishes, including tom yum goong, and some Southern Thai curries.

It was a spectacular meal, one of the best meals that I’ve had in a long time in Southern Thailand. The tom yum goong was huge and so incredibly tasty. And their gaeng som, or southern Thai sour orange curry was one of the best versions I’ve ever had in my life.

Highly recommended. Don’t miss it when you’re in Phatthalung (พัทลุง), Thailand!

Extreme Thai Street Food - JACUZZI MEAT PARADISE! | Hat Yai (หาดใหญ่), Thailand

???? Pakistani Thai Food:
???? Goyae Jaogao Restaurant (ร้านก๊ะเหย๊าะ เจ้าเก่า):

Hat Yai (หาดใหญ่), Thailand - Welcome to Hat Yai, in the Songkhla province of Southern Thailand - home to insanely delicious Thai street food, and some of the friendliest, nicest people I’ve met in all of Thailand. Today, we had the special opportunity to eat at Goyae Jaogao Restaurant (ร้านก๊ะเหย๊าะ เจ้าเก่า), a restaurant known locally for its goat curry, beef curry, and cow hoof soup - made in an extreme way. #streetfood #ThaiFood #Thailand

We arrived at 8 am in the morning to watch Aunty as she started cooking. I loved everything about the restaurant and her style as soon as she arrived. You’ll notice there’s not just one giant jacuzzi of boiling curry, not two, but 6 in the front, all bubbling away - with another in the back. The day we went she cooked an entire goat of curry, plus 50 kilos of cow hoofs, another huge amount of beef curry, and finally one of her specialities - beef bone soup with chamuang leaves, or garcinia cowa leaves.

My favorite styles, the best part of her cooking was when she tied the lemongrass like a rope and crumpled the garcinia cowa leaves and chucked them into the massive posts of bubbling curry. Amazing!

We ordered and ate everything she has on her menu, and honestly I would recommend everything, it was that good:

Beef curry (แกงเผ็ดเนื้อ)
Goat curry (แกงแพะ)
Cow foot soup (ช่อมาลี)
Bone soup (ซุปกระดูก)
Organ soup (ซุปเครื่องใน)
Omelet (ไข่เจียว)

Total price - 600 THB ($19.12) for everything

She makes some of the best beef soup that I’ve ever had in Thailand, maybe the world, and the cow hoof soup was extraordinary. Both curries were also fantastic. Amazing restaurant and hospitality, must eat when you’re in Hat Yai (หาดใหญ่)!

Thank you for watching, hope you’re having a fantastic day!

????️ Khrua Luang Then ร้าน ครัวหลวงเทน:

Khrua Luang Then (ร้าน ครัวหลวงเทน) - During my trip to Southern Thailand, and specifically the southern Thai province of Phang Nga, one of the restaurants I was most looking forward to eating was Khrua Luang Then (ร้าน ครัวหลวงเทน) - it was a place I could feel I was going to love before going - just from the look of powerful spices in the dishes, and the laid-back environment. Turned out to be one of the best Thai food meals I’ve had in a long time, one of my new favorite restaurants in all of Thailand.

We arrived in the morning just as they opened, and already Chef was extremely friendly and welcoming. We ordered a bunch of dishes - and they have some unique southern Thai food dishes that you won’t find elsewhere - so I was extremely excited.

Here are the main dishes we ordered:

Sour curry sea catfish แกงส้มปลาดุกทะเล
Beef dry curry คั่วกลิ้นเนื้อ
Fried fish turmeric ปลาทอดขมิ้น
Black stingray curry ผัดเผ็ดปลากระเบนดำ
Red ant omelet ไข่เจียวมดแดง
Octopus pineapple โวยวายสับปะรด
Sea shells หอยชักตีน
Stir fried morning glory ผัดผักบุ้ง

Total price - 1,800 THB ($55.46)

Before eating, I had a chance to watch Chef as he masterfully cooked all the dishes. His insane skills and use of huge amounts of spice blew my taste buds before even starting to eat. He makes all his own curry pastes, and sources all his ingredients locally.

The food was absolutely insane, bold, spicy, tingly, and a sensation for the tongue. Mind blowing flavor, and strong to the max curries. I loved every bite, and the entire experience.

Khrua Luang Then (ร้าน ครัวหลวงเทน) is located in Khao Lak (เขาหลัก), Phang Nga province (พังงา) in southern Thailand. Khrua Luang Then (ร้าน ครัวหลวงเทน) is also featured in the Thailand Michelin Guide. Must eat if you are a spicy Thai food lover!

Unexpected First Day In Pattani ???????? Thailand's 'Dangerous' South

We had a pretty unexpected first day here in Pattani, come join us for our first Impressions of this city in Thailand's Deep South.

We first explored Pattani Chinatown which is really impressive then we got kidnapped by a friendly local tour guide from Pattani called Joh!

From here we spent the whole morning with a group of super nice Thai teachers from Bangkok as we drove around to see various tourist sights of Pattani.

We then checked out an incredibly beautiful Chinese temple, had a huge coconut ice cream sandwich for 20 thai baht, checked out some buddhist temples before we finally ended the day at the huge Pattani central mosque which really is impressive.

Pattani and the deep Southern states of Yala, Narathiwat, Songkhla have a very bad reputation but for those willing to travel down here it really is rewarding the people are so kind hearted and the countrysides/coasts are gorgeous.

Please 'LIKE' the video and 'SUBSCRIBE' if you enjoyed watching. It really does help my channel.

Indian Salmon DEEP FRIED!! ???? Super CRISPY UMAMI Food Village!

???? Malay Food - Spicy Duck Soup:
???? Subscribe for NEW VIDEOS:

PATTANI, THAILAND - Welcome to Pattani province, in the deep South of Thailand! Today, along with my friend Muhammad from Papa Tagu ( visited two communities - one for a famous durian in the mountains. And two to the sea to a community that specializes in fourfinger threadfin fish, which is also called an Indian salmon (ปลากุเลา)!

Durian Monthong Sai Khao (ทุเรียนหมอนทองทรายขาว) - First we headed to a village called Sai Khao, which is a beautiful place on the side of the mountain. They are known for their fruit and especially for durian. They grow a type of “monthong durian” which is found around Thailand, but their version is slightly different and known to be the best quality in Thailand. It was exceptionally creamy and perfectly sweet, rich, and thick. Definitely the best monthong I’ve probably ever had. Still, I do prefer the small “durian baan” which usually have a stronger, smellier, and bitter taste. But it was a great experience and great to see the durian at the source.

Fourfinger Threadfin (Indian Salmon ปลากุเลา) - Next, we took a short drive to a coastal community where they fish for Fourfinger Threadfin (also known as Indian Salmon ปลากุเลา), and they preserve the fish in this village and then sell it. You’ll find this fish all over Thailand, and most of it comes from the coast of Pattani and Narathiwat. They set up a makeshift kitchen and deep fried pieces of the fish and finished it off with a huge amount of lime juice, chilies, and shallots. It was one of the greatest bursts of umami ever - so much flavor and age in that fish. If you close your eyes you might have thought it was a very mature aged cheese.

Another amazing day in Pattani, delicious food, and incredible people!

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

Street Food 21 CURRIES FOR LUNCH!! Unseen Food Tour in Southeast Asia!! ยะลา

???? Indian Malay Food in Pattani:
???? Subscribe for NEW VIDEOS:

YALA (ยะลา), THAILAND - Located in the very far south, the Deep South of Thailand, Yala is a beautiful province known for its Malay culture and food, forest, and fruit paradise. In this Malay street food tour in Yala we ate one of the best traditional curry meals I’ve ever had in my life, and then continued on to the city to eat famous beef soup. Finally, we drove outside the city for some curian and cempedak. Get ready for some insanely delicious curry and fresh fruit in Yala, Thailand!

Khrua Wahid (ครัววาฮิด - Welcome to one of the best traditional curry restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time. They serve traditional Malay and Thai curries and dishes from Yala. I was fascinated by the variety, and the ingredients present in each of the dishes. Literally every dish was outstanding, and many of them were new for me - even having traveled quite a lot in both Thailand and Malaysia. One of the many highlights was the quail and chili leaf curry. But really, you cannot make a bad choice at Khrua Wahid (ครัววาฮิด), it’s a must eat if you love curry when you’re in Yala, Thailand.

Quail - We stopped on the side of the road for a quick delicious roasted quail, so tasty.

Organ Soup (ซุปเครื่องใน (มัสยิดกาโบ) - In the iconic market of Yala in the the center of the city, you’ll find this legendary generations old beef soup restaurant. The soup is simple and refreshing, mainly focusing on beef organs and stomach. Additionally, you have to eat the soup with an omelet. The combination is fantastic.

Bang Lang Bridge and Lake - Finally to finish this street food tour of Yala, we drove about an hour to the iconic Bang Lang Lake and bridge. On the way, we stopped for some Yala fruit, including durian and cempedak. Unfortunately all the small “durian baan” were finished for the season, but the mon thong variety was still pretty good. And the view over the lake was spectacular.

I had an amazing time exploring Yala, but too short, so much more to eat and still do in Yala. I hope to visit again.

First, we headed on a boat through the beautiful bays and mountain rock landscape to a fisherman within a cove who raises and grows seafood and seaweed. Although at first I thought we’d mostly be getting local lobsters, he said he had a grouper today, and so we quickly changed our plan and decided on a menu from the 6.5 kg. giant grouper and lobsters, and seaweed.

With the fresh seafood, we headed back to the Laem Sak community where they cooked an amazing Southern Thai food meal!

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!
