BART from SFO to Downtown San Francisco

On a long stopover in SFO we take public transport to downtown. The BART runs frequently from SFO to Embarcadero station, from where there are all sorts of sightseeing options. The cost is very reasonable, and there is no hassle for traffic. If you have a few hours on a layover in SFO, this is a great option to fill the time.

To get to the BART, we catch the SFO AirTrain to the Garage/BART stop. The AirTrain is free and runs every few minutes.

Transit Stories: Bay Area

SB1 dollars fix potholes and rebuild streets all over California. SB1 also contributes tens of millions of dollars to Transit Agencies. The amounts to Bay Area transit agencies are substantial.

Oakland Airport BART Tutorial (San Francisco Bay Area)

In this video I will show you how to get to the BART station from the Oakland International Airport. From here you can go to different places like San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, San Jose and so on. It is quite simple to use public transportation because all you need to do is add money to your Clipper Card which can be done at the kiosks/machines or in the app.

Riding BART from Mission to San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Join me on this ride from the Mission District of San Francisco to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), the regional light rail/subway system. Start at Mission St and 16th Street and travel on the BART through Glen Park, Balboa Park, Daly City, Colma, South San Francisco, San Bruno, and arriving at the international terminal of SFO.

Affordable Cities: 10 US Metro Areas With Underrated Livability, Walkability and Transit

Which city should I move to? This is a question people are increasingly asking themselves as the challenge of finding affordable living in coastal and sun belt cities continues to spiral out of reach. Now, we're all for fighting the good fight to get more housing built in the places where people want to live...but for some people, you just can't wait for solutions. Today's video is here to help!

There's a staggering difference in cost of living between the sought-after cities of California (and even skyrocketing cities like Austin and Nashville), and established, legacy cities in other parts of the US. So this video tackles the question of not only what are the most affordable places to live in the US, but where good prices intersect with things city-lovers care about: public amenities, culture, sports, walkability, bike-ability, and transit service.

This is CItyNerd's guide to the ten most underrated cities to move to in the US. Your results may vary, so let me know what you think I overrated or underrated down in the comments!

*Legacy Fleet* 4K- Riding the San Francisco (BART) Bay Area Rapid Transit

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is a rapid transit system serving the San Francisco Bay Area in California. BART serves 50 stations along six routes on 131 miles (211 kilometers) of rapid transit lines, including a 10-mile (16 km) spur line in eastern Contra Costa County which uses diesel multiple-unit trains and a 3.2-mile (5.1 km) automated guideway transit line to the Oakland International Airport. With an average of 411,000 weekday passengers and 118 million annual passengers in fiscal year 2019, BART is the fifth-busiest heavy rail rapid transit system in the United States and is operated by the Bay Area Rapid Transit District which formed in 1957. The initial system opened in stages from 1972 to 1974. The system was extended most recently on June 13, 2020, when Milpitas and Berryessa/North San José stations opened as part of the Silicon Valley BART extension in partnership with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA).[9]
