Bawean, surga tersembunyi di Jawa Timur! (Hidden Paradise in East Java!)
Perwakilan dari Bank Indonesia dan Generasi Baru Indonesia berkunjung ke Pulau Bawean. Tujuannya adalah untuk lebih mempromosikan wisata-wisata lokal yang memiliki banyak potensi, sehingga semakin banyak wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara yang akan berkunjung.
Namun sayang saat itu hanya memiliki waktu yang sangat terbatas, sehingga sedikit tempat yang dikunjungi. Meskipun hanya sebentar, namun merupakan pengalaman yang sungguh luar biasa!
Yuk bantu share ke teman2 kalian! Kita tunjukkan bahwa Indonesia adalah surganya dunia!

The Amazing Bawean Island, Gresik, East Java
Bawean Island is one of wonderful island in Indonesia, precisely in East Java province area. The island is located at Java Sea, about 80 miles or 120 kilometers north of Gresik This is a small island which its administratively is in Gresik regency - East Java. To reach this island, needs 3 hours by fast boat from Gresik port. The busyness always comes at this port. Loading and unloading of goods and passengers are racing to get out into the port is the busy view in the port.
Bawean island consists of 2 districts, Sangkapura and Tambak district and 17 villages. Sangkapura is the largest district in Bawean island. This island has many tourists destinations which are not inferior to other tourist destinations in Indonesia. Besides its marine tourism,, lakes and waterfalls toursm, the visitors can also enjoy the culture of the indigenous people in Bawean Island.This island said to be able to compete with Bali or Bunaken in North Sulawesi. Bawean name itself special meaning, Bawean is taken from the Sanskrit word meaning There Sunlight.
There deer species that only found (endemic) in Bawean Island, called as Axis Kuhli. Besides, mangosteen, bark, red fruit, and durian are planted in this island. Dozens of fishes species are also on the coast of the island.

Discover The Bawean Island
Bawean is an island of Indonesia located approximately 150 km north of Surabaya in the Java Sea, off the coast of Java. It is administered by Gresik Regency of East Java province. It is approximately 15 km in diameter and is circumnavigated by a single narrow road. Bawean is dominated by an extinct volcano at its center that rises to 655 m above sea level. Its population as at the 2010 Census is about 70,000 people, but more than 26,000 of them (that is about 70% of the male population) were temporarily living outside, working in other parts of Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia). As a result, females constituted about 77% of the actual population of the island, which is thus often referred to as the island of women.
The island territory is divided into two administrative districts, Sangkapura and Tambak. More than half the population (about 45,750) lives in the district of Sangkapura, centred on the town of that name located on the southern coast of the island.

Spending Time at Laccar Waterfall in Bawean Island, Gresik - East Java
Laccar waterfall is located in Laccar sub-village, Kebun teluk dalam village, Sangkapura district, about 15 km from the center Sangkapura district. The location can reached by four wheel drive vehicles up to Laccar sub-village. Arrive the tourist sites, not directly meet the waterfall, but you have to walk through forest path which surrounded by palm trees as far as about 500 meters. Continued by passed the rocky river about 200 meters, then get to Laccar waterfall area. This waterfall has about 25 meters height with artistic cliffs background, but for last ten years, the water flow is heavily and has influenced by season. If the rainy season comes, the water flows swift and mighty strength. Otherwise, during the dry season, the water becomes more weak. This tourist area has surrounded by hills that covered with leafy trees, provides cool air atmosphere. Of course, this condition makes visitors feel comfortable to enjoy the roar of the water that falls in between the rocks and the chirping sounds of variety birds and monkeys of forest dwellers around Laccar waterfall. Those are heard at any time, as if to greet all visitors who come to enjoy the beauty of natural scenery.

Wonderful East Java -
East Java might be the least populated area in Java island, but its charm and unique terrain will captivate its visitors. Capital of East Java province, Surabaya, is a cosmopolitan city and you can find any comfortable surroundings and facilities there. Menuju Pulau Gili dan memesan Lobster untuk di santap makan siang.
Setelah Selesai memesan, dan menunggu Masakan Jadi, lanjut Snorkling 2 spot di dekat pulau.
Setelah makan, lanjut Ke pulau Gosong atau Noko Gili untuk Nyunset..

Bawean Reserved Deer, Bawean Island - East Java
This deer reserved is located in Beto Gebang Pudakit Barat, Sangkapura district. It is about 10km from Sangkapura with 30 minutes trip. To reach this reserved that located in the hill area, you can use it motorcycle or car. The road is pretty good, at least to reach the closest village. But when you enter the forest area, the road is not too good because is not paved yet. But this uncomfortable road will be difficult to passed only in rainy season because the wet ground is so slippery when rain.
Bawean Deer or Axis Kulii that live in Bawean Deer reserved is not transfer animal from another reserved. So, the 30 deers is native habitat of Bawean island. This reserved is located at foot part of Mount Gadung and borders with Bawean conservation forest. The location is very potential for study tour, research and eco-tourism. Surely, the reserved is still fresh and there are many various birds here. The cliffs that surrounded the reserved are the recommended object for climbers. The wide of the reserved is about 4hectares.
Meanwhile, the deer itself is wild and endemic, not same as others reserved and the visitors are not allowed to give some food to them. But here, the visitors can enjoy the beautiful cliffs and birds chirp. It so calm and natural.
By this Bawean Deer reserved, hopefully the Bawean Deer habitat has reserve and not extinct.

The Exotic Tanjung Gaang, Bawean Island, Gresik - East Java
One of the tourism spot in Bawean Island is Tanjung Ga'ang that has tremendous charm. Located about 8 Km from the District Sangkapura, Kumalasa Village, East Java. The main attraction of Tanjung Gaang is the beautiful coral hill which is very famous and said that the hills also cointain marble. Before reach Tanjung Gaang, you have to pass area full of coral, passing Kimia Beach also Tanjung Kodok Bawean and rocky roads. At this part you have to be very careful not to fall on sharp coral below.
