Hot Air Balloon rides are a pretty magical experience and this Balloon ride in Myanmar is no different.

With lift-off timed to catch the Bagan sunrise, you’ll enjoy phenomenal views of temples, vistas and and pagodas, only to touch down with a glass of bubbly champagne.

Okay, that sounds great and all but... $450? We show you what this Hot Air Balloon experience is like and answer if this is really worth its hefty price tag.

Bagan Temples are CLOSING... This is Why! (Myanmar HONEST Review) ????????

The iconic Bagan temples in Myanmar are a must see for any world traveller. But what is Bagan REALLY like to visit in 2020?

The experience of exploring the ruined temples is not what it used to be. Climbing temples to find rooftop views is becoming a thing of the past, with most temples now locked up and restricted to tourists.

But can you still find temples in Bagan with rooftop viewpoints? And should you STILL visit Bagan? We spent 3 days exploring the plains to find out.

Myanmar's INCREDIBLE INLE LAKE! | 12 Things to do by BOAT and BIKE ????????

Inle Lake is a must see sight for any trip to Myanmar, made famous by it’s incredible floating villages and leg rowing fisherman... But there are so many more incredible things to do: including hidden gems like a vineyard, hot springs and a tofu village! In this travel guide, we will cover it all.

Whether you explore by boat tour or bike tour, these are the things you have to see!

0:41 - Taking a LONGBOAT TOUR at SUNRISE
We booked a tour through our hotel (every hotel around the lake will do this for you, no need to book in advance). Sunrise is really worth it to avoid the crowds and see the lake in it’s best light.

2:10 - Floating Villages on Inle Lake
Inle is home to the Intha people who live and work in stilted bamboo houses on the water,

2:55 - Silversmith
Our first stop on the lake.

3:15 - Inle Lake Rotating Market
A market that moves around the lake every day. A good spot for souvenirs.

3:35 - Traditional Lotus Weaving Workshop.
A really interesting stop on our boat tour, there are a lot of products for sale too.

4:00 - Cigar Makers
Another good stop, well worth a try too - no tobacco, only natural ingredients!

4:12 - Shwe Indein and Indein Village
My favourite stop on the boat trip. The temples are ruined making it a great place to explore.

5:45 - Renting a bike in Nyaungshwe
The main tourist town of Inle is the best place to stay and rent a bike from. There are loads of different routes to take too.

6:13 - Khuang Daing Nature Hot Spring
A small spa with natural thermal springs. A great place to relax!

6:57 - Great Viewpoint over the Lake
Right opposite the hot springs is a really good viewpoint and small temple.

7:23 - Khuang Daing aka Tofu Village
Take a tour with Yam around the many different food spots in the village, most involve tofu - but not like any you’ve had before!

8:20 - Red Mountain Estate Vineyard
Inle Lake’s winery and vineyard is not only a great place to taste some local wine, but it also has some of the best views of the countryside. Perfect for sunset.

The Bagan Archaelogical Zone has over 2,200 religious structures to explore. Where to start? I decided to start with a visit to the Bagan Archaelogical Museum. And from there, I visited three of the most famous temples and pagodas in Bagan. And it was all by e-bike, of course.

Chasing balloons in Bagan, Myanmar (Burma)

After seeing the hot air balloons in Cappadocia we knew we could not miss this in Bagan! We came all the way here to see all of the pagodas and the balloons taking flight above them. This country was so unique in that tourism still has not hit it yet so it feels like you are really taking a trip back in time and gain a more authentic experience than that in many of the other southeast asian countries. We loved our time here and next time we will be back with more money to hopefully ride a balloon for ourselves!

BAGAN, MYANMAR // IS IT WORTH THE HYPE? // MOTORBIKE ACCIDENT // MYANMAR TRAVEL VLOG

Welcome back to yet another vlog from Myanmar. In this vlog we are in the famous Bagan to spend a few days riding around all the beautiful, ancient temples on an e-bike.

We start our time in Bagan feelinga bit under the weather and decide to wait one day before we take on all the hundreds (maybe thousands) of temples and pagodas and check out the local life down by the river nearby where we stay in Nyaung-U. The next day we get on our e-bike and run into Sven, from Germany. We spend the day exploring temples, having interesting talks and we also get to witness a horrible motorbike accedent. After a couple of hours we continue exploring and we end our day watching the sunset over the river from a temple roof top.

Check out Sven's pages here:

Boat Tour of Inle Lake (Myanmar)

We took a boat tour of Inle Lake. The tour lasted about 6 hours and cost 25,000 kyat (18$). We visited the cigar factory, a textile workshop (making clothes from Lotus flower plants), a pagoda and we saw the floating gardens and cage fisherman. Afterwards we ate at an excellent Indian restaurant called King Dhosa.

bli ett resmål bland andra i Sydostasien, men just
därför är det värt alla extra ansträngningar.
