The stunning Tianmen Mountain (Heaven's Door Mountain), near the city of Zhangjiajie, province of Hunan, China.
The video is following one of the two standard routes around the mountain: The longest cable car in the world from the city center to the mountain top; West rim cliff-hanging walkway and glass Skywalk; Tianmen temple; East rim cliff-hanging walkway and glass Skywalk; elevators down to Tianmen Cave; the 999 steps Stairway to heaven down to the square with the bus stop; bus down the 99 bends road.
The other possible route is exactly the opposite to the one above, the tourists must choose which one to take when they buy the ticket to the mountain.

Zhangjiajie is a city, region, and national park.
It is located in Central China, about 1,000 kilometers (600 miles) from Hong Kong.
Are you impressed by the Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar? The real ones are in Zhangjiajie. There are 243 peaks and more than 3,000 pinnacles and spires in the national park. Scenes in Avatar come to mind when the peaks are caught in the right light or when the early morning mountain mist rolls in around them.

The World's Longest Cable Car Ride up to the Mountain Top

The mountain is best reached by cable car. The aerial tramway ride is the longest in the world, taking about 30 minutes for over 7 kilometers.
The last part of the cable way is very steep, going up at 37 degrees over sheer cliffs to one of the mountain peaks.
The cable car starts close to the bus station and railway station. It is often very busy, and waiting in line is normal. The cable car starts at 7:30 in summer and 8:00 in winter.
Our guide will suggest our customers to arrive there early (half an hour or more before it officially opens) to avoid a long wait. Otherwise you may need to queue for 2 hours or even more amongst noisy, chaotic Chinese tour groups.

The Cliff-Hanging Walkway

The walkway was built along the edges of this mountain's summits, clinging to the vertical cliffs. The walkway is about 1.6 kilometers long, about 1,400 meters high.
The cliffside loop takes about 1½ hours. At the end of the walkway, there is a hanging bridge linking two peaks.
It is always busy and crowded along the walkway. You may find you need to fight for a place to take photos. Avoiding the crowds is essential for you to enjoy the highlights and take good photos. Your experienced guide knows how to help you get the best out of the experience.

Avatar Mountain & Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie, China [Amazing Places 4K]
One of the most stunning and beautiful places in the world, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in China's Hunan Province has more than 3,000 sandstone pillars and peaks, some higher than 200 meters/660 feet. Its amazing views became inspiration for the Avatar movie and it is on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Wulingyuan Scenic Area includess 4 parts, all covered in the video: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the Yangjiajie Scenic Area.

HOW TO: Zhangjiajie in 72 Hours | The Travel Intern
Last week, we promised y’all that we’d give y’all a detailed breakdown of how to scale Zhangjiajie, so here it is! First of all, it’s impossible to spend only one or two days in ZJJ. So PLEASE keep that in mind — At least three days (72 hours like in this video) or more.
Chloe’s gonna share some of the tips and tricks the team gathered to handling ZJJ like a frickin’ pro.
1. Explore two parts of ZJJ — Zhangjiajie City, Wulingyuan District (belonging to Zhangjiajie National Park).
2. Be mentally and physically prepared for massive crowds and A LOT of walking.
3. Show off your greatest poses and get creative for photos!!!! (Safety is sexy though, remember.)
4. Bring your student IDs to get discounts! Some even up to 50%.
5. Get ready to spend hours walking through different sites, and note that some places (like Tianzishan) are pretty much a one-way route, so there’s no reversing once you’ve entered the place.
6. Have a great, great time.

This is where Tip #2 comes into FULL PLAY.*IMPT: Do note that you are not allowed to bring things like selfie sticks, cameras (except mobile phones), water bottles, big bags, tripods, basically clunky stuff onto the glass bridge. And no drones are allowed to be flown around the area!

You have to walk through this Grand Canyon right after you get down from the glass bridge.

*IMPT: In order to leave the mountainous regions of ZJJ National Park, you’ve got to take the Bailong Elevator, especially if you want to head to Baofeng Lake to end off the day and vice versa.

*Route 1 vs Route 2 — This is important, it’s either you wanna walk up 999 (Renald claims it’s less than 999 steps) steps or you wanna walk down the 999 steps.

World's Scariest Glass Skywalk - Coiling Dragon Path, Tianmen Mountain Skywalk, China
The scariest terrifying glass skywalk in the world, popularly known as, Coiling Dragon Path/cliff skywalk is situated on a side of Tianman mountain in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan province, China. The skywalk overlooks by its bottomed giant glasses, the world's famous Heaven's Gate and Tongtian Avenue, the mountain road with 99 turns. China's Zhangjiajie national park is home to perhaps the most unique landscape you'll ever see. The Zhangjiajie national forest park holds over 3,000 quartzite rock towers that form an incredible forest in the sky, complete with foggy peaks and lush greenery. These pinnacles, some of which are over 1 kilometer (!) high, were the inspiration for the floating mountains in the Avatar movie. Let's go get some vertigo, shall we? ;)

WOULD YOU WALK ON THIS GLASS BRIDGE IN CHINA?? | Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie
China seems to have a fascination with glass bridges in crazy locations lol. This happens to be one of the highest at 4600ft above sea level, near the top of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area, known also for its epic cableway that is one of the longest in the world! Let me know in the comments if you would walk on this crazy glass bridge!

????Travel Tip in Tianmen Mt.⛰️
No.1) Bring some food to the top of the Tianmen mountain!
No.2) Wear short sleeve t-shirts, and several light clothes!
No.3) Bring a Bag and a bottle of water, and Keep drinking even you're not thirsty.
No.4) Don't take the lift(not cable car). Enjoy all the sceneries walking along the path.
No.5) Try walking up all the stairs at the Tianmen Cave. That was a crazy experience!
Above all, Save ONE FULL DAY for the rest after this trip.????????
