Mt Pulag: Beginner Guide - Benguet Province, Philippines
Mt Pulag - Luzon’s highest peak at 2,926 meters above sea level can seem like an intimidating mountain for first-timers who want to experience hiking and camping for the first time.
Here’s a video where I try to cover the journey going to the summit, to show you that it can be done! If first-time hikers like my friends can do it, so can you! And as Meg Imperial said, make sure you don’t take motion sickness medicine, as it makes you super drowsy for the climb!!

STEP INTO PARADISE: Northern Blossom Flower Farm Amazing Walking Tour, Atok Benguet Philippines
The Northern Blossom Flower Farm is situated along Halsema Highway in Atok, Benguet, approximately 2 hours away from Baguio City. It has gained popularity as a side trip for those making Baguio their main destination. It is becoming a top tourist attraction in the region particularly for its rose cabbages plantation and several other varieties of colorful flowers.
The entrance fee is 250 pesos for adults, 200 pesos for seniors and PWDs, while children aged 0-5 can enter for free. It also includes a complimentary bread and unlimited coffee after your mini-hike.
In addition to the majestic floral carpet sprawling along the mountains, the flower farm also provides a great vantage point to see the country's highest peak, Mt. Pulag. Their famous Cabbage Roses grow seasonally and can be best seen in February. It also coincides with the celebration of the Panagbenga Festival or festival of flowers in the neighboring Baguio city.

????If you want to visit the Northern Blossom Flower Farm, I recommend staying a night. It's a different experience seeing Atok, Benguet in the morning, you'd feel like the flower farm is just the cherry on top.
We stayed at Sunrise Cabin Travellers Inn. If you're a family or a group, renting the entire house is ideal.
✅ Bring enough jackets, socks, bonnets, or gloves to keep you warm. It is freezing at night that some find it hard to sleep
✅ Buy food and water before checking in. There's a market nearby but surprisingly, it was expensive. Even the veggies are
✅ Going to Sunrise Cabin, you will pass by Loyungs Restaurant at Halsema highway
✅ Better if you can bring your own electric kettle. You will need to heat water often and it could take a while. Also do not rely on the heater of the shower, it's got no effect when you're showering at 10 - 13 degrees Celsius
✅ We went there with senior citizens. Touring the Northern Blossom Flower Farm isn't good for their knees anymore so they stayed at the Sunrise Cabin nalang
✅ Be respectful and tone down. It's a town with its own culture that we don't wanna disturb

Northern Blossom Flower Farm. How to get there?
From Baguio City, ride a taxi/jeep going to Dangwa Terminal. Ride a van from Dangwa terminal going to Atok Benguet, tell the driver that you are going to Northern Blossom. Around 1.5 hours travel time and it is at your right side. Fare P150 one way. Register at the Tourism Center when you arrived there, pay P250 for the entrance inclusive of tour guide with unli coffee after. Pay also the environmental fee of P50.
Northern Blossom Flower Farm is three-hectare mountainside flower farm peppered with flowers, such as different colors of snapdragons, alstroemeria, rice flower, matthiola, cabbage roses, and more. You can also see the Mt. Timbak and Mt. Pulag from here.

MT. PULAG | BENGUET TOURIST SPOTS | 2021 TRAVEL GUIDE
I personally consider Mt. Pulag as one of the most beautiful mountains in the Philippines, therefore, you should include this on your Must Hiked list. It is the third highest mountain in the country and the highest point in Luzon, measures 2,922 MASL. This mountain has the famous “sea of clouds” that attracts many hikers and tourists. This is a majestic phenomenon where the hikers, on the summit, are literally above the clouds.

Most of us only know Mt. Pulag as the 3rd highest mountain in the Philippines, but did you know that aside from it's amazing sea of clouds, beautiful pine and mossy forests enveloped with freezing temperatures, this park hides a mystical secret? Who would have thought that within one of the highest places in Luzon, lakes humbly thrive within its forests. Yes! In the northern part of Mt. Pulag lies four mystical lakes which have their own stories to tell. Join us as we discover Mt. Pulag's 4 mystical lakes. Tara sama ka sa kakaibang adventure na ito! ????
