Water Slides
As you’d expect to find at any water park, there are several different water slides at Pirates Island. There are three large slides, located right next to each other in the water park. You’ll bring your own rafts up the stairs and can choose a tandem raft or a single raft.
There are also two smaller water slides located right near Bobby Dee’s. These aren’t for toddlers but would be best for those kids who find the three larger slides a bit too big.
Splash and Kids’ Play Area
In the middle of the lazy river is a pirate-themed splash area. Here, you’ll find water cannons, splash jets, and smaller water slides. This area is perfect for younger kids, and they will definitely enjoy splashing around.
There’s also a separate splash area with water jets. Throughout our time in the water park, we always saw kids running around this area to cool off.
Little kids will also appreciate the zero-entry pool located in the water park. Although Beaches offers a number of pools throughout the resort, this one is great for really little ones.
Lazy river at Beaches Resort
Danny always love lazy rivers, so I definitely appreciate the one in the center of the Beaches Turks and Caicos water park. Grab either a single or double raft along the side, and then you can enter the 650-foot lazy river from several different entry points.

Room Tour Time! Today we are going to give you an all-encompassing look at our accommodations during our stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos! For this weeklong stay, we were in a Key West Luxury Concierge Room, Category DTG! This room sleeps a maximum of three guests and includes a king bed, sleeper chair, double sinks, walk-in shower, microwave, stocked mini fridge, and balcony overlooking the areas of the Key West Village! SEASIDE ONE BEDROOM CONCIERGE VILLA SUITE (S1)
Located on the first and second floors of the Salt Cay Villas in the Seaside Village, these newly renovated one-bedroom suites are just steps from the beach. Each villa suite is decorated with modern touches including a wet bar, microwave and HD Smart TV, plus a master bedroom complete with a king size bed and a second HD Smart TV. A chic, en-suite bathroom maximizes the pampering experience with a freestanding soaking tub, dual control walk-in rain shower, and dual vanities with backlit mirrors. To accommodate up to five guests, the villa suites also boast a Murphy bed. Units on the ground floor feature a furnished patio that walks out to the resort gardens and nearby beach, while second floor units feature a furnished balcony. All villa suites come with a refrigerator stocked with bottled water, juice and soda, and an in-room bar. These suites are centrally located. They are close to the beach, Iguana’s pool and many of the resort’s restaurants. These are two bedroom suites. The master bedroom is furnished with a four-poster mahogany king bed. The bathroom hosts an Adrian tub with a separate rain walk- in shower. The second bedroom is furnished with two mahogany double beds and a single sleeper pullout sofa chair, with a bathtub/shower combination.

These villas are individual homes situated directly on the beach. Each villa has three floors. The first floor has a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and granite countertops, a fully furnished living room with sofa, chairs and a flat screen TV and dining room that can easily accommodate six people. There is also a bedroom on the first floor with a king bed, hardwood floors and flat screen TV. The bathroom features a bathtub/ shower combination and granite vanity. The second floor boasts the master bedroom with a king bed, hard wood floors, flat screen TV and walk-in closet. The master bath features an oversized jetted soak tub with a walk- in shower and granite vanity. Third and fourth bedrooms are also on the second floor and feature a queen bed, hard wood floors and flat screen TV’s. The bathrooms have a bathtub/shower combination with granite vanities. The third floor boasts a comfortable sunroom or private patio overlooking the beach and ocean. Outside, there is a large porch, covered dry area and a private plunge pool. These rooms can also accommodate a rollaway. These accommodations offer Private Airport Transfers.
