Bangladesh is a land of troubles: the water here is black, the traffic is insane, the people are poor, and the metro only goes one way; children don’t go to school, because they have to help their parents earn a living, and men sell their girlfriends to brothels. Bangladesh is also a place where ships from all over the world end their “life”, and where manual labor is so cheap that it is getting scary.

With all the problems of Bangladesh, will I be able to see anything good in this small country in South Asia? Let’s find out!

I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and YouTuber who's been to 61 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.

I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.

After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.

I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.

I've travelled to North America just once as a YouTuber, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.

In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.

I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to Asia, with videos following from India, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, Thailand and Sumatra (Indonesia). I began 2024 by revisiting Bangladesh.

???????????? Which countries love and hate Bangladesh? Asian diplomatic relations with #Bangladesh ????????

friends and enemies of Bangladesh allies and adversaries. #Map #geographyfacts Allies Bangladesh friends, and hostile geopolitical relationships.

So what sources did I use? This is based on countries' political stance and NOT the population's popular opinion per se. Research for all the countries was done based on:
1) established formal relations with or without physical representation in embassies, consulates, etc.
2) Are there any tensions or (recent) incidents, Google News search on all the countries.
3) how do the countries vote on UN security council resolutions and in the general assembly
4) what is the history of the Bangladesh these to countries and how does that shape the relationship today

Other sources used: all of the existing relationships Wiki pages of Bangladesh and the respective countries.

When it comes to Pakistan and Russia the other LIGHT GREEN countries, it means that while formally the relations are established and they are overall ok, there is (some) uneasiness due to differences in the diplomacy related to historic and current affairs.

When it comes to the YELLOW countries in this video on Bangladesh it means that countries have formal relations or are about to start them, but the relation is not a bilateral priority.

Then there is Israel, the relations aren't that bad, but any country that doesn't recognizes it, has gotten that emoji, so keeping consistancy.
