Hi All and thanks for joining me today for my selection of Brisbane to Cairns road Trip stops, and things to see and do along the Queensland Coast, Australia. (Obviously this can be done the Cairns to Brisbane direction as well.) I'm featuring about 20 stops, but a few ideas in each place to see and do, like Swimming, Hiking, relaxing, Beaches, Island Destinations, Snorkelling and lots of fun for you or the family.

I originally had more stops to add in this video, but came down to the amount of footage I have, and the length of the video. I must admit it has been a very nice reminder of the traveling I have already done along the Queensland Coast and brilliant memories from this locations.
Please use this video for idea's in researching your own journey, based on length of time and budget. The footage I collected in this video was taken over several different trips and made it easier to afford - but also easier to get to as a local from Brisbane.

Welcome to Brisbane, the vibrant capital city of Queensland! In this video, we’ll show you the top things to do in Brisbane, from exploring the city’s cultural landmarks to experiencing its breathtaking natural wonders.
First on the list is the iconic South Bank Parklands, located on the southern bank of the Brisbane River. This is a great place to relax, take a dip in the man-made Streets Beach, and enjoy some delicious food at one of the many restaurants and cafes.
Next up, head over to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha for a peaceful stroll through its beautiful gardens and a panoramic view of the city. You can also visit the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium and learn about the stars and planets.
For some cultural experiences, check out the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) which houses a vast collection of art from all around the world. We're on a road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to spend our holidays & celebrate new year in Queensland. We booked an airbnb for a night's stay in Port Maquarie, and ate most delicious pizza of Port Maquarie at Black Box Pizza and Ice Cream, you must try it if you're visiting Port Maquarie. Next day we started for Brisbane. On the way we took a break at Moonee Beach and swam across the pond to reach the beach. Weather conditions changed with heavy rains later on, but we kept going slowly. We finally made it to Brisbane once weather cleared!
