Cook Islands BEST KEPT SECRET PARADISE: Aitutaki
The Cook Islands are somewhat unknown in the South Pacific, but they have a secret tropical paradise known as Aitutaki. It has the most beautiful lagoon, crystal clear tropical water, and perfect sandy beaches.
If you can't afford to stay on the island, you can take a day excursion or day trip to Aitutaki and see things much more affordably. You'll have to fly in and out on the same day, but we thought it added to the adventure!

Atiu, Cook Islands, South Pacific
Atiu is also known as Enuamanu which means land of the birds. But there's much more to this, the third largest of the Cook Islands in the South Pacific. This is an introduction to a unique place where tourism is still in its infancy. Visitors can expect to be treated as guests and discover fascinating places and warm and friendly people.
The music is Atiu Enua (Kapa Rim) bny Piritau Nga. It's from the the islanders' award winning performance at Te Maeva Nui, 2007.

Here is a brief teaser of our time on the islands Aitutaki and Rarotonga, located in the South Pacific. These two amazing islands are part of the Cook Islands and are a must visit! We spent 2 weeks here and had the most amazing time. We have more vlogs to show you guys but wanted to give you a sneak peak. Hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed filming everything.
Some highlights include Teking Lagoon Cruise, One Foot Island, hiking the cross-island trek, snorkeling, paddleboading, and Island night with fire dancing at Tamanu Beach.

The BEST Beach + Lagoon of Rarotonga Cook Islands is Muri Beach!
Rarotonga in the Cook Islands has quite a few different beaches and areas for such a small island. We think Muri Beach is the best place to be, whether on the water or at a restaurant or bar. If you're looking for travel tips or advice for Rarotonga, all you need to know is Muri Beach!
We spent a good amount of time on Rarotonga, just looking for things to do and checking out the different experiences. We found that Muri Beach offered Lagoon cruises, small islands to visit, and had the best nightlife scene by far (don't hesitate to see the fire dancers).
While we think Aitutaki is the best island to check out in the Cook Islands, Rarotonga is unbelievably beautiful and special in its own way, not to mention pretty sparse when it comes to tourists.
