CENTRAL CALIFORNIA COAST Travel Vlog - Paso Robles, Atascadero, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach

We drove from San Diego to the Central Coast in August 2020 to celebrate my dog's 7th birthday (yes, it's an occasion). It was my first time truly exploring the central coast of beautiful California, and I LOVED IT. There is so much to do that I want to go back! We stayed in a peaceful and serene 1-bedroom house in Atascadero, which was the perfect location since it was 20 mins away from Paso Robles and 20 mins away from Morro Bay. The house also came with an easy-to-use fire pit outside and the Airbnb host provided free s'mores supplies so we could make s'mores out there. We also went to a beautiful winery in Paso Robles, which was completely dog friendly and had plenty of outdoor seating. Since this was all during the peak of COVID, we wanted to choose places that had spaced out seating outside. And as you'll notice, we also got our food via take out often. Some other spots we went to were Pismo Beach, Dinosaur Caves Park, and Morro Bay.

California is such a big state and there is ALWAYS an endless amount of destinations to explore within it. Sometimes you just have to get out of your bubble and go out there!

WHY WE LOVE THE CENTRAL COAST
Join Royce & Betty on a tour of the Central California Coast where we will be taking you to all the small town and cities as well as interesting places to see and things to do. From classic California Beach towns to the heart of the Central Coast wine country. With over 250 wineries this is the fastest growing wine producing region in the country. Atascadero with its population of 30,000 plus or minus is a rural community popular for its Oak forest, warm sunny climate, and warm friendly people. Also popular with people who like some room around them 1 acre being the average lot size. We moved to Atascadero in 1983 and built the home we are still living in today on 2+ acres in the West hills of Atascadero.

When the kids were young we had horses, baby goats they bottle feed and of course dogs and cats. Here in the West hills community of 3F Meadows we are 11 miles to Morro Bay as the crow flies and have what I believe is the best micro climate in North San Luis Obispo County. So join us on a tour of the beautiful Central Coast of California.

The use of calla lilies, hydrangea, roses, dahlias, and cushion mums created most of the arrangements and bouquets. The addition of lime green added a little dimension and interest using coffee beans and hanging amaranthus. Thank you to ProImage for many of the wonderful images.
