In this Aruba travel guide, I’ll take you through everything I got up to, or learnt about, during my one week in Aruba. When I was planning my trip, I realised how hard it was to find detailed Aruba travel guides on everything the island has to offer so I’ve tried to compile it all into one article so you can make the most of your visit.

Traveling to Aruba? one of the most naturally joyful places on Earth. Aruba is much more than a Caribbean paradise, the world class beaches, always perfect weather that's the part of what makes Aruba unique.
.Aruba’s size, just 21 miles by six miles, makes it very easy to explore and population of 1,12,000 only.
From amazing beaches to historic landmarks, here are some of the best things to do in Aruba. With everything within such easy reach, you may even be able to fit them all in a day or two.

The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino is a 12-acre luxury beachfront resort where Spanish architecture and Caribbean elegance open onto a world-class beach. This resort is located on the beautiful Palm Beach strip, just six miles from Queen Beatrix International Airport. It is one of the best all inclusive resorts in Aruba.
Natural Pool
The Natural Pool is just that, a protected swimming hole filled by waves crashing over the slick rocks. You can swim and snorkel here, although the area is really not that big. The pool lies down a rugged road and is best reached by 4WD vehicle. If you're looking for adventure, you can navigate the area yourself, but the road is not well marked.
Fish Pond
Fontein Cave
While in Aruba in 2019, we spent the better part of a day in Arikok National park. Fontein Cave was one of our favorite stopping points in the park. We were given a small group tour by the park ranger who was there when we arrived.
Baby Beach
Famous Baby Beach in the southern part of Aruba, close to San Nicolas, is a true Caribbean beach paradise. Gorgeous half-moon sandy expanse in a calm lagoon is ideal for families with small kids.
Aruba Aloe Factory & Museum Tour
One of the top free things to do in Aruba is take a tour at the Aruba Aloe Museum, Factory, and Store. During this fascinating tour, you'll learn everything you ever wanted to know about aloe plants.
Casibari Rock Formations
The Casibari Rock Formation is located on the island of Aruba, north of the Hooiberg. Casibari Rock Formations have one of the best panoramic views of the Aruba island and surrounding water.
Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins
Bushiribana Gold Mill is one of two sizable ruins sites on Aruba used for processing the over 3 million pounds of gold mined from the island at one time.
With gold first discovered on the island in the early 1800s, the Aruba Island Gold Mining Company constructed the stamp mill structure in 1872. The mill was operated for about a decade, processing around two thousand ounces of gold. Eventually, the Bushiribana Mill was shuttered, as a more modern alternative mill building was used.
Alto Vista Chapel
California Lighthouse
This stone lighthouse, which was built between 1914 and 1916, is one of Aruba’s most well-known landmarks. You can find the recently renovated lighthouse at Hudishibana near Arashi Beach.
Arashi Beach
This quiet and secluded beach is known not only for its excellent snorkeling but a variety of water activities including windsurfing, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, swimming and sailing.

Saint Lucia is the ultimate honeymoon destination. It has the most beautiful nature and is the absolute highlight in the middle of the Caribbean. There is also plenty to do for backpackers and traveling families. In this video I show you why every traveler should visit Saint Lucia at least once: it's just a place that can hardly be beat!
After Saint Lucia we visit many more gems in the Caribbean. Whether they will match with Saint Lucia remains to be seen! With the best views of the gigantic pitons, overnight stays in tree houses in the middle of the jungle and the most beautiful snow-white beaches, Saint Lucia is high on the list of the most beautiful islands in the world. We sleep in Soufrière, visit the Diamond Waterfalls, hike the Tet Paul Nature Trail and visit the beaches Anse Chastanet, Sugar Beach and Jalousie Plantation Beach. From the west, we drive our small jeep through the rainforest to the south and east, before relaxing at an all-inclusive resort in the north.
This year we travel all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde and Martinique, Saint Lucia is our fifth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Caribbean and then to many more beautiful destinations! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Aruba is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands physically located in the mid-south of the Caribbean Sea, about 29 kilometres (18 mi) north of the Venezuelan peninsula of Paraguaná and 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Curaçao. It measures 32 kilometres (20 mi) long from its northwestern to its southeastern end and 10 kilometres (6 mi) across at its widest point. Together with Bonaire and Curaçao, Aruba forms a group referred to as the ABC islands. Collectively, these and the other three Dutch substantial islands in the Caribbean are often called the Dutch Caribbean, of which Aruba has about one-third of the population. In 1986, it became a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and acquired the formal name the Country of Aruba.
Aruba is one of the four countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands, along with the Netherlands, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten; the citizens of these countries are all Dutch nationals. Aruba has no administrative subdivisions, but, for census purposes, is divided into eight regions. Its capital is Oranjestad.
Unlike much of the Caribbean region, Aruba has a dry climate and an arid, cactus-strewn landscape. The climate has helped tourism, because visitors to the island can expect clear, sunny skies all year. Its area is 179 km2 (69.1 sq mi) and it is quite densely populated, with 101,484 inhabitants as at the 2010 Census. A January 2019 estimate of the population placed it at 116,600.
