Aruba 2020 Travel Guide
Aruba is a beautiful Caribbean Island just 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela. It's full of beautiful beaches and perfectly placed outside the hurricane belt so any time of the year is a great time to visit.
In this video I will explain requirements to go to Aruba in 2020, talk about everything you need to know before going there and some fun things to do!
All footage was shot on GoPro Hero 8, DJI Mavic Mini Drone and iPhone 11.
Honorable mentions I forgot to say, Aruba has some of the cleanest water in the world, you can drink it straight from the faucet. BUGS? There were none! We brought bug spray in worry of mosquito's but never used it and never got bit. I did google if this were normal, it said September through December the high winds do slow down and there are some around that time but we went in August.

Aruba 2020: Essential Travel Requirements for Entering Aruba
2020 has been such a crazy year, especially with it's impact on travel. Lots of countries have much stricter guidelines for international travelers, and some still have a travel ban. Fortunately for people eager to begin traveling again, Aruba is the perfect destination.
Aruba has opened it's borders to Americans, Europeans, and some other countries in the Caribbean. But they have much stricter entry requirements for getting in. This video will guide you through everything you need before taking your trip!
The online Embarkation/Disembarkation Process ( or ED card) consists of 3 parts: a negative Covid Test, travel insurance, and a health Assessment all in one. Apply for it at least a week before your trip, and the rest will be sent to you 72hrs before your departure.

I was so happy to notice that my Cruise to Antarctica included a stop at the Falkland Islands. The Falklands War in 1982 was a ten-week undeclared war between Argentina and the United Kingdom over two British dependent territories in the South Atlantic: the Falkland Islands and its territorial dependency, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. While my visit was brief, I learned that it was interesting for many other reasons.

A short distance north of Venezuela there is therefore a small paradise bathed in the rays of the sun and refreshed by the trade winds, a territory with magnificent pristine beaches and endowed with crystal clear water. With these few words we understand why many foreigners have settled there in search of a quiet life in the shade of palm trees. Tourists have also understood this and are now storming this original and exceptionally beautiful destination. Here, unlike the other islands of the Antilles, the island does not have lush vegetation and tropical forest; it is mainly a flat tropical desert (the highest point does not exceed 200m) and rather arid. Aruba means red gold in Spanish.
Indeed, after the arrival of Europeans on the island, gold was discovered. The island of Aruba is a colorful tourist destination, the dream here is at hand. Accessible from Amsterdam by direct flight or from many cities in the United States, it welcomes a population looking for exclusive holidays. Indeed, Aruba is reputed to be a fairly expensive resort. Prestigious establishments welcome customers with high purchasing power, as we can see by the services offered (casinos, spas, hammam, infinity pools with sea views, helicopter flights, cruises aboard yachts, car rentals. sports, golf courses) and also by the many luxury stores (the biggest brands have their storefronts on it). The capital Oranjenstad with its small colonial houses of all colors offers a completely picturesque charm suitable for visits, walks, shopping and nightlife.
It has a large number of restaurants, cinemas, theaters, cabaret shows, bars and nightclubs that will delight romantic, young and festive souls. Moreover, romanticism, here, is found everywhere, around a street, a path, a beach, lovers have long found in this island their favorite land. Water sports enthusiasts, in particular windsurfing and kitsurfing, will go to the north coast and take advantage of the strong trade winds to practice in ideal conditions; the best spots are also on the beaches of Hadicurari and Arashi.
For diving enthusiasts, cruises are organized on different exceptional sites and in particular on the famous wreck of the ship Antilla, not to be missed. The aquatic fauna is also diverse, while diving you will see many exotic fish like barracudas and other green moray eels. Those who wish to practice hiking and explore the preserved flora and fauna, will head towards the center of the island and on the wild coast towards the Cactus and Rocks National Park, Arikok.
The island extends its sumptuous and long beaches on the north and west coasts, the prettiest and best for swimming are those of Eagle Beach, Palm Beach and Manchebo Beach. It is in this place that the main prestigious hotels and establishments have settled, in order to allow the traveler to be as close as possible to their moments of idleness. The climate on the island of Aruba is mild all year round, the rain only appearing mainly during the months of October and November. It is therefore advisable to plan a trip to Aruba between December and July, August and September being the hottest months.
