Nanny gets dying wish

Maasai Warrior Welcomes Us Into His Hut: Tanzania, African Video

Join us as my wife and I take a detour from our safari to meet a very sweet and humble Maasai family in Tanzania, Africa. Our new friend Emmanuel takes us on a tour through one of his family's villages and talks about their way of life. We end our tour with a traditional Maasai dance and song.

The Maasai are a nomadic herding tribe known for their distinct fashion sense and the ability to ward off lions with spheres. The volume of a heard dictates the wealth of a family as bovine is often offered for a bride’s hand in marriage. Emmanuel is the only member of his family who knows how to speak English and as you can see, does so quite eloquently. He's currently studying in Arusha to become a veterinarian. We are so grateful at how they graciously welcomed us into their home.
