We finally made it down to Aqaba Jordan!! I was super excited to begin exploring this place and get an idea of what all the hype was about. This video started out with us wandering around the streets and taking local recommendations in which we ended up in a Syrian restaurant. The food was great, but unfortunately there was some behavior by one of the workers. Aside from that, we went out and wandered through the markets and tried out some kunefe which made for an enjoyable evening stroll. Join me in this tour of walking in Aqaba Jordan. Aqaba is the only coastal city in Jordan and the largest and most populous city on the Gulf of Aqaba. Situated in southernmost Jordan, Aqaba is the administrative center of the Aqaba Governorate. The city had a population of 148,398 in 2015 and a land area of 375 square kilometres (144.8 sq mi). Today, Aqaba plays a major role in the development of the Jordanian economy, through the vibrant trade and tourism sectors. The Port of Aqaba also serves other countries in the region.
Aqaba’s weather is almost the warmest in Jordan and it’s a touristic attraction, people visit Aqaba to enjoy the weather and the Red Sea where people do water activities such as scuba diving to see the coral reefs.

What an incredible country, I arrived here 10 days ago and have truly been overwhelmed by my experiences here. From the wonderful hospitality to the phenomenal landscapes, I would go as far as to say its been my favourite country I’ve ever travelled to. I cannot remember one bad encounter I had with the locals and i will remember for the rest of my life the selfless and kind hearted nature of the Jordanian locals.
@worldnomac, @sofiastamatiadis and I explored all the main regions including Amman, Jerash, Dea sea, Petra, Wadi rum and Aqaba.
Inshallah I will be back again to explore the rest of the country but now It’s time for mac & I to travel to our next country which is going to be an absolute full send. Some amazing drone shots by @worldnomac

Jordan tour - The Ancient City of Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba
If you ever thought about visit Jordan - do it! There is no reason to hesitate, the country is save to visit and definitely worth it. There are numerous tours in Jordan if you feel saver with a guided tour, as for example Petra tours, Wadi Rum tours, or tours which combine both attractions in combination with Aqaba. Some of the tours do even start from Israel.
Our journey starts with a Map of Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba and then visits the 3 amazing places.
Lost city of Petra
The Ancient City of Petra is famous the red sandstone in which the city is carved in.
Originally, the city was established at around 312 BC as, built as the capital city of the Arab Nabataeans. Petra was rediscovered in the 19th century by Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Among other things The city of Petra was famous for the films Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Indiana Jones.
Inside Petra, you can enjoy views from The Siq, Petra Treasury, The Facades Street, The City Center, and much more.
Wadi Rum
Next Stop is Wadi Rum, a valley cut in sandstone and granite roc. You can explore Wadi Rum with severals tours, with a Jeep, a camel or even by an hot air ballon, called Rum Ballon.
In Wadi Rum you can camp at a bedouin camp, or a more luxurious version, the Wadi Rum Night Luxury Camp, which has these amazing Bubble Tree Camps for a night under the stars.
Aqaba
Our last stop in Jordan is Aqaba. Aqaba is located at the Red Sea and the perfect spot for diving and snorkeling, where you can discover shipwrecks and tanks.

Aqaba is a Jordanian port city on the Red Sea's Gulf of Aqaba. Inhabited since 4000 B.C., it's home to the Islamic-era Aqaba Fort. Its beach resorts are popular for windsurfing and other water sports, and the area is a top destination for scuba divers, with notable dive sites including the Yamanieh coral reef in the Aqaba Marine Park, south of the city.
