In March of 2016, I went to the southern edge of the world to run the Antarctica Marathon. I ended up turning a vacation intended for a footrace into a 2-continent/3-country/8-city/9-airport trip of a lifetime. Little did I know, the marathon would become just a fraction of a sliver of one morning in a massive journey that got better with each passing day. Here are some of the highlights of the spectacular wildlife, humbling scenery, and deep friendships I made in the most remote wilderness left on our planet.
