Andorra la Vella (“Andorra the Old”), is located between 2 countries of France and Spain, in the Pyrenees Mountains. Andorra la Vella, is the capital of Andorra and is famous for its ‘Duty Free shopping, it is also the highest altitude capital in Europe.
In Summer, you can enjoy the lush green valley and explore the wonderful mountains. In Winter, Andorra has become a popular ski resort, which attracts a large number of skiers and snowboarders.
Andorra La Vella Skiing:
A short distance up the valley from the centre of Andorra La Vella, are the ski areas of Soldeu/Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa. These ski areas offer a range of different slopes for all abilities.
Andorra la Vella Airport
Although Andorra does not have an airport of its own, there are a number of airports in both Spain and France, which provide easy access to Andorra.
Spain:La Seu d'Urgell Airport, Barcelona Airport, Lleida Airport, Reus Airport and Girona Airport.
France:Toulouse Airport Carcassonne Airport and Perpignan Airport.

We were pleasantly surprised by Andorra. Incredibly beautiful well kept country. We enjoyed it so much we want to go back skiing . Not only is it beautiful but the shopping is incredible with pricing being below anything we found in Europe. Getting into Andorra is journey itself with tunnel after tunnel and nonstop views. Don’t be in a rush getting there. We loved it.
