We decided to hop on Space A flight to Guam and we didn’t really know what we were getting ourselves into. Ace and I were excited to talk to some people before the flight and get some information about Guam and Andersen Air Force Base.
In this video, we wanted to provide some information about how to get around Guam. We wanted other people to know how far the Gateway Inn was from the Andersen Terminal, how to get transportation, show our room at the inn and give a peak into the exchange and what they provide.

This view point and b-52 relic is located on the Andersen AFB in Guam. You are only able to see this if you have military access onto the base, unfortunately the people of Guam that are not able to access this, miss a great part of what it means to live on the island.

Abigail Schooley, a drone enthusiast, and James Trefurt, the chief of plans and programs for the 36th Security Forces discuss the joys of drone flying and also the precautions to take while flying on Guam, April 8, 2021.
Andersen Air Force Base and Naval Base Guam, along with their land subsidies, are no-drone zones and have the authority to defend each installation's airspace from drone incursions.

Northern shores of Guam
Tarague is a geographic place name given to the northern littoral of the island of Guam, between Mergagan Point to the west and Tagua Point to the east. In historic maps and accounts of Guam dating back to the Spanish Era of the island (16th – 19th centuries), the orthography of the word Tarague varied. It was at times spelled, for example, as “Tarragui” and “Taragay.” In the modern day USGS maps, the spelling of “Tarague” is used consistently. Another spelling, “Talagi,” was introduced by the Guam Historic Preservation Office in April 2006. At the present time, Tarague is located within the Andersen Air Force Base, and access to the Tarague area is restricted....

Hike to Pati Point - Anderson Air Force Base - Guam, USA - Feb 17, 14
The most wonderful day! Pati Point is an Animal Preservation Area within Anderson Air Force Base on Guam. Because it is off limits to the public (military included) it is as if time has stopped. I felt like I was walking around another island - another world. The only foot prints I saw in the sand, were my own, some deer and wild boar.
World War II Tour Of Guam
In the Air Force, it's always said that an assignment is only as interesting as you make it. Well for Airmen stationed at Andersen Air Force Base, Airmen and families alike are getting out from indoors and making the most of what their unique assignment in Guam provides.
The outdoor rec hosts an island-wide World War II tour on February 16, 2013, which highlights some of the most influential places that impacted the Battle of Guam in 1944. Includes sound bites from Ray Stiers, Director of 36th Wing Outdoor Recreation, and MSgt Kelly Meinzer, 36th Communications Squadron, QA Section Chief.
