Venture back in time and discover the history of Ancient Greece, as well as explore their lesser-known contributions to the field of science and technology.

Specially curated by Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology from Greece and presented by Science Centre Singapore, the “Ancient Greek Technology Travelling Exhibition” features more than 40 inventions that span across a multitude of disciplines; such as automation, programming, astronomy, time-keeping, and music, just to name a few.

All exhibits are built with great accuracy, referenced from ancient texts, and with most of them being fully functional. When you walk through the exhibition's doors, you will be given the unique opportunity to experience the incredible technological achievements of the ancient Greeks.

After the success of the September 2015 ΔΕΘ – Helexpo exhibition, now there is a second date the theme park is open.
Visitors can once more admire the most important inventions and musical instruments of the Ancient Greeks from the Museum of Ancient Technology of Kostas Kotsanas, together with the Enchanted. Las Incantadas (Οι Μαγεμένες), the legendary Caryatids of Thessaloniki return home , although being a copy from the original ones seen in Louvre. Pavilion 3 will be open until January 5th 2016. Entrance to the Enchanted is free, while the rest of the show can be accessed with a ticket of 5 euros for individuals or 4 euros for schools. There is also a consideration for free parking. Open weekdays 09:00 – 14:00 Sunday 10:00-16:00 (Saturday closed).

Μετά την επιτυχία της έκθεσης του Σεπτεμβρίου του 2015 , τώρα υπάρχει μια δεύτερη ημερομηνία όπου το θεματικό πάρκο είναι ανοιχτό . Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να θαυμάσουν για μια ακόμη φορά τις πιο σημαντικές εφευρέσεις και τα μουσικά όργανα των αρχαίων Ελλήνων από το Μουσείο της Αρχαίας Τεχνολογίας του Κώστα Κοτσανά , μαζί με τις Μαγεμένες . Το Περίπτερο 3 θα είναι ανοικτό μέχρι τις 5 Ιανουαρίου 2016. Η είσοδος στις Μαγεμένες είναι δωρεάν , ενώ για τα εκθέματα του Μουσείου Αρχαίας Ελληνικής Τεχνολογίας Κώστα Κοτσανά υπάρχει εισιτήριο 5 ευρώ για μεμονωμένους επισκέπτες, ή 4 ευρώ για τα σχολεία . Υπάρχει επίσης πρόβλεψη για δωρεάν πάρκινγκ . Ανοιχτά τις καθημερινές από 9:00 εως 14:00 Κυριακή 10:00-16:00 (Σάββατο κλειστά ) .

Het andere Museum of the Ancient Greek Technology waar ik niet mochten filmen is echt interressant. Hier zie je allemaal technische uitvindingen. (2013)


Since the last time (2009) I was in Katakolo, 2 museums have been added, including this small museum. Here they show typical Greek instruments. The other Museum of the Ancient Greek Technology where I was not allowed to film is really interesting. Here you can see all technical inventions. (2013)

The 80th International Fair of Thessaloniki (80η Διεθνής Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης) opens its gates from September 5 to September 19. Open weekdays from 16:00 to 22:00 and weekend from 10:00-22:00 it lets visitors enjoy a variety of attractions. More than 250.000 visitors from last year cannot be wrong! To celebrate its anniversary, T.I.F. lets everyone who is born in 1980 or is 80 years old to get in for free!

The main pavilions cover exhibitions from Greek and foreign contributors in the areas of food, industry and commerce. Yet, the thematic tributes seem to gather the largest crowds!
