Full tour inside the Great Pyramid of Giza | Pyramid of Cheops aka Khufu | Trip to Kairo, Egypt 2021

The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Egyptologists conclude that the pyramid was built as a tomb for the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu and estimate that it was built in the 26th century BC during a period of around 27 years.

Initially standing at 146.5 meters (481 feet), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years. Over time, most of the smooth white limestone casing was removed, which lowered the pyramid's height to the present 138.5 meters (454.4 ft). What is seen today is the underlying core structure. The base was measured to be about 230.3 meters (755.6 ft) square, giving a volume of roughly 2.6 million cubic meters (92 million cubic feet), which includes an internal hillock. The dimensions of the pyramid were 280 royal cubits (146.7 m; 481.4 ft) high, a base length of 440 cubits (230.6 m; 756.4 ft), with a seked of 5.5 palms (a slope of 51°50'40).
The Great Pyramid was built by quarrying an estimated 2.3 million large blocks weighing 6 million tonnes in total. The majority of stones are not uniform in size or shape and are only roughly dressed. The outside layers were bound together by mortar. Primarily local limestone from the Giza Plateau was used. Other blocks were imported by boat down the Nile: White limestone from Tura for the casing, and granite blocks from Aswan, weighing up to 80 tonnes, for the King's Chamber structure.
There are three known chambers inside the Great Pyramid. The lowest was cut into the bedrock, upon which the pyramid was built, but remained unfinished. The so-called Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber, that contains a granite sarcophagus, are higher up, within the pyramid structure. Khufu's vizier, Hemiunu (also called Hemon), is believed by some to be the architect of the Great Pyramid. Many varying scientific and alternative hypotheses attempt to explain the exact construction techniques.
The funerary complex around the pyramid consisted of two mortuary temples connected by a causeway (one close to the pyramid and one near the Nile), tombs for the immediate family and court of Khufu, including three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, an even smaller satellite pyramid and five buried solar barges.

Forbidden Tunnel inside the Bent Pyramid of Dahshur

When I was alone inside the Bent Pyramid which is located in Dahshur south of Giza and the Great Pyramid, I noticed a door that was locked. It had a hole in the fence so I decided to climb through to see what is inside.
I found myself in a long and steep passage and there was a pit which was covered with wooden planks. Also there was a very strong wind coming from this tunnel.
On the right side there was a white limestone block that was sticking out of the floor which made it look very special.
I continued to walk inside the tunnel and I switched off my flash light to see if there was any light coming from the end of the passage. It was pitch black dark.

HOW?

???? Join us on one of our upcoming expeditions to Egypt or Peru, find all of the info here:

This is one of the rose-granite unfinished obelisks lying in the Aswan Quarry. The scoop marks are almost 1 meter wide on both sides & red vertical lines can be seen on the quarry walls leading down into the scoops. Guide of Egypt believes this may be a sign of excessive heat, possibly due an ultra-sonic cutting tool. Did the ancient architects have the ability to soften granite like marshmallow? Did they use a tool that could scoop out granite like ice cream? According to the archaeological record, the dynastic Egyptians (3000 BC) possessed only copper/ iron chisels & hammers which rank between 3-4 on the “Mohs scale of hardness.” How could they have drone this to rose granite that is much harder, ranking between 7-8 on the same scale? Did the dynastic Egyptians posses lost tech that we are unaware of, or did an earlier megalithic civilization do this?

What’s that under the Great Pyramid?

????Join me May 17-28, 2023 for the Megalithic Marvels of Egypt Tour

On the Megalithic Marvels of Egypt tour we were privileged to receive a 2 hour long after-hours visit inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. Upon entering the descending passage, our first big stop was to visit the subterranean chamber - the basement of the Great Pyramid! I was taken back by how long and steep this passage leading down underneath the pyramid was (approx 300+ ft). While the higher passageways & chambers were lined and finished with precision megalithic blocks, the passage leading down was unfinished in that it was cut straight from the bedrock. Once we reached the bottom, the passageway leveled out & we had to literally crawl on our hands and knees through thick pyramid dust the final section (approx 10 yards) before entering the subterranean chamber. This chamber seemed essentially like a big square with 3 levels - the upper level with smallish cutouts or storage type areas, the main level which featured this circular fence, which in turn, sealed us off from the lower level which is a massive pit with a squared out bottom that featured what appeared to be a nubbed circle popping up in the center of it. What do you think the purpose of this pit was? I will share my theories in more videos coming soon… on the far side of the main level was another tight passageway that led to another smallish room.

Ancient Egyptian shaduf

Ancient Egyptian shaduf was an ancient tool used to draw water for irrigational purposes. It was the earliest form of water raising machine which drew water from a lower level to a higher level. The earliest known use of shadoofs was in Mesopotamia, Egypt, some other African and Asian areas.

The shadoof basically comprised of a frame erected on the ground. On this frame a long pole or branch was suspended. Towards the long end of the pole a container, like a bucket or basket was hung and the shorter end was used for the purpose of carrying the weight, thus balancing the two ends of the pole.

10 Most Impressive Monuments of Ancient Egypt

One of the greatest civilisations the world has ever seen, the Ancient Egyptians ruled over the lower reaches of the Nile for millennia. After a unified kingdom arose around 3100 BC, a series of dynasties and pharaohs built ever-bigger pyramids and temples before falling to the Roman Empire in 30 BC.
During this incredible long era the ancient Egyptians produced some of the most famous monuments in the world of which many have survived the ages. Many of the massive monuments were dedicated to various deities or the pharaohs themselves and were adorned with rich decorations, such as striking statues and detailed reliefs.
Such was the ingenuity and engineering prowess of the Ancient Egyptians, many of these amazing ancient monuments are still standing today. Here’s a look at the most amazing ancient Egyptian monuments:

Were the ancient Egyptians BLACK or WHITE? What people think in DAHAB Egypt ? EGYPT LAND OF PEACE ????

What people in Dahab, Egypt think about this controversy that is recently gaining more pace ? Let' s find out.

Personally, I believe it doesn' t matter at all, we are all brothers and we should look forward building a better future for everyone; and I consider this a dividing question that pragmatically doesn' t improve at all anything. What difference it makes if pyramids were built by black or white or purple ?

But, hey - I may be wrong - what do you think about it ? Write it down in the comments

Barry J. Kemp argues that the black/white argument, though politically understandable, is an oversimplification that hinders an appropriate evaluation of the scientific data on the ancient Egyptians since it does not take into consideration the difficulty in ascertaining complexion from skeletal remains.

The debate over the race of the ancient Egyptians intensified during the 19th century movement to abolish slavery in the United States, as arguments relating to the justifications for slavery increasingly asserted the historical, mental and physical inferiority of black people.[citation needed] For example, in 1851, John Campbell directly challenged the claims by Champollion and others regarding the evidence for a black Egypt, asserting There is one great difficulty, and to my mind an insurmountable one, which is that the advocates of the negro civilization of Egypt do not attempt to account for, how this civilization was lost.... Egypt progressed, and why, because it was Caucasian.[16] The arguments regarding the race of the Egyptians became more explicitly tied to the debate over slavery in the United States, as tensions escalated towards the American Civil War.[17] In 1854, Josiah C. Nott with George Glidden set out to prove: that the Caucasian or white, and the Negro races were distinct at a very remote date, and that the Egyptians were Caucasians.[

Since the second half of the 20th century, most anthropologists have rejected the notion of race as having any validity in the study of human biology.[25][26] Stuart Tyson Smith writes in the 2001 Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt, Any characterization of race of the ancient Egyptians depends on modern cultural definitions, not on scientific study. Thus, by modern American standards it is reasonable to characterize the Egyptians as 'black', while acknowledging the scientific evidence for the physical diversity of Africans.

According to Bernard R. Ortiz De Montellano, the claim that all Egyptians, or even all the pharaohs, were black, is not valid. Most scholars believe that Egyptians in antiquity looked pretty much as they look today, with a gradation of darker shades toward the Sudan.[5]
