A day in San Jose Costa Rica | Not quite as planned !

Travel vlog 177 | San Jose Costa Rica | Country #12/195

In this episode we head Ito the centre of San Jose - Costa Rica. We meet up with our friends Fez and Kattia who show us around the city. Our first stop is the Central Market, where we have a lovely lunch trying some local street food and dishes before exploring the city centre.

After crashing our drone in the jungle we are desperate to get hold of another so the drone search starts.

It was an interesting day but things didn't quite go according to plan !

Hitting the streets of San José, Costa Rica ????????

Hitting the streets of San José, Costa Rica I explored the churches, markets, monuments, and neighborhoods of this city. I started off walking down the main boulevard and came across the central square. I walked the length of the 'high street' of San José taking in the hecticness of the city. The following day I made my way around the central market and then headed to Barrio Amón. Barrio Amón is a beautiful and green neighborhood where you can find the incredible architecture of the old houses that were owned by the coffee growers of the 19th century.

SAN JOSE | Costa Rica Travel Vlog

San José is Costa Rica's capital city. This travel vlog shows you the sights, the markets and the food, trying some local specialities.

_____________

One day in San José, Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

Our 2nd full day in San José started at the market, wow - so many things to buy! Everything between kitchen utilities to sandals, souvenirs, and food and fruits. We bought three different kinds of fruits that we never have tried before, one looking like a green potato ???? and another like a cherry from out of space! ???? Find out in this vlog if we appreciated the tastes ???????? and please let us know what the green potato is in the comment section ????????

The weather here is unpredictable, bright and sunny, turning into a thunderstorm in seconds! When it rains in Costa Rica it sure is raining!! ☀️⚡️⛈️

We are not sure how we feel about this city, people are friendly, but at the same time we are constantly told by the locals to be careful, especially after sunset. We’ll guess poverty is one cause, and downtown you have to be aware of your things, there’s a lot of pickpockets apparently ????. At the same time the streets are well guarded by the police ????‍♀️????‍♀️????‍♀️ making you feel safe, and at the same time you’ll look over your shoulder. ????

There is not much to see and do in San José so today we hung out in Chinatown for a while, and strolled the streets, having good food along the way. ????????????

Come along our exploring on film, and follow us on YouTube ???????? Subscribe, and consider to share with your friends -it’s what’s keep us going. ????☀️
