LAND HO!!!! We Made It To Madagascar!- Sailing SV Delos Ep. 94
Sailing 7,000 miles over 7 months we finally make landfall in Madagascar! The last few days of the sail have been very hectic though and we wake up to high 30 knots of breeze and 4-5 meter seas left over from the gale the night before. The crew is in high spirits because we made good progress overnight and are only 32 miles away the northern cape of Madagascar! We cruise around the cape making 14 knots of boat speed in 40 knots of wind. It's wicked sailing but soon we are behind the lee and protection of Madagascar and reach Nosy Be where we drop the hook. We're welcomed to the yacht club with all the food we've been craving. Cheap, cold beers and delicious salads and pizza. There's live music, dancing, and a super cool atmosphere. We begin to fall in love with Madagascar.

It's a story of people living their lives in an alternate way, in close connection with the beautiful people and amazing planet that we call home. We say our goodbye's and stock Delos with provisions and fuel for the next 2 months. After a last incredible dive in Cocos Keeling Brady washes his hands off the back of Delos and WHAM! He gets an unpleasant surprise.....

We made it to South Africa! After 2 weeks at sea and over 7 months with out being at a dock, we tie Delos up at the Zulu Land Yacht Club in Richards Bay, South Africa! While waiting for a good weather window to continue south we meet awesome people, see some amazing wild life and get hit with a pretty bad storm!

It's been a while since we got ROCKED like this ???? After setting off on a 3 day open ocean race against our rivals Parlay Revival, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. The camera just doesn't do it justice, but it was SO gnarly out...days like these make us question why we do this, (and wish we were snoozing away all cozy in a non-moving bed somewhere ???? ) . But we press on towards the finish line we are faced with our next big challenge.... an absolute MINEFIELD of uncharted bommies that litter the inside of the lagoon. And of course we finally answer the question that everyone's been waiting for....WHO WON THE RACE????

We leave the Thames River Yacht Club in Lake St Clair and head to Put In Bay as our first stop on our route to the Caribbean. We hit a storm, drink a beer, and get very, very wet.

BIG News and a BIG BLUE WHALE ENCOUNTER | Episode 109
This fun packed sailing episode we drop big news about parking our boat for the summer so we can join as crew on the sailing schooner Wolfhound and sail across the big blue Pacific Ocean to Hawaii! As if that's not enough, we have an amazing chance encounter with a BIG beautiful Blue Whale!
We leave La Paz to head back north up to San Carlos and on our second day we cross paths with our sailing buddies who had discovered a Blue Whale hanging around and being quite friendly. We get to see it about 5 different times over about an hour, and it was incredible!
