Hi,
My name is Labib Ittihadul. This is my latest video about Sylhet. Journet date was last week of January, 2018. That day we went to Sylhet from Sayedabad bus stand to Sylhet via bus named Al Mobaraka & arrived at Sylhet at early morning. Then we take breakfast near Shyamali bus counter at Sylhet bus stand. Our group host imran hired a leguna previously at the cost of 4000 TK. The contract was to transport us all day long to Fire Hill, Jaflong, Lalakhal & Tea Garden and here and there until night.
Jaflong is one of the most common tourist destination among Bangladeshi people. Jaflong situated at the border of India & Bangladesh. Jaflong was not that beautiful in winter. The main time to visit Jaflong is rainy season.
After visiting Jaflong, We started journey to Lalakhal. Lalakhal is one of the most beautiful lake I've ever seen. The color of water is so beautiful to look at. We hired a boat at 600Tl/hour contract & troam around lalakhal & zero point for sometimes.
There is a gea garden lnear lalakhal. We went to the tea garden by keeping our boar waiting. The tea garden was so green. I can't explain the beauty with my words. You can only feel it on the video.

Sylhet, beset with mesmerizing landscape, city is on the bank of Surma. Lalakhal, on the North East region of Sylhet, is a wide channel in the Sharee River at Jaintapur, near the Tamabil road.
In our BDC Bike packing trip, we set out Day 2 campsite at Lalakhal Tea Garden, a scenic spot. The video clip was shot while I was basking in the winter sun just near by the Lalakhal canal.

লালাখাল নামটি শুনতেই অন্যরকম একটা অনুভূতি কাজ করে। গত ০২ বছর যাবত নানা কাজে অনেকবার সিলেট যাবার সুযোগ তৈরি হয় কিন্তু কোন না কোন কারণে লালাখাল যাবার আর সুযোগ হয়ে উঠে নাই।
সকালে পাচ ভাই রেস্টুরেন্ট থেকে সকালের নাস্তা সেরে বের হওয়ার সাথে সাথে সিএনজি ড্রাইভার আলী ভাইয়ের ডাক জাফ্লং লালাখাল ...।
শুক্রবার তার উপর একা একা বোর হচ্ছিলাম তাই সিএনজি ড্রাইভার আলী ভাই কে সাথে নিয়ে চলে গেলাম লালাখাল।
সিলেট শহর থেকে প্রায় ৩৫ কিলোমিটার দূরত্বে অবস্থিত এই লালাখাল নদী ভারতের চেরাপুঞ্জি পাহাড় থেকে উৎপন্ন হয়ে বাংলাদেশে প্রবেশ করেছে।
বাস অথবা সিএনজি যোগে যেতে পারবেন, আমি সিএনজি করে গিয়েছিলাম কারণ আমি প্রায়ই রাস্তায় দাড়িয়েছিলাম ভিডিও ক্লিপ নেওয়ার জন্য।

Lalakhal is a tourist spot in Jaintiapur, Sylhet District, Bangladesh. Lalakhal is a wide channel in the Sharee River near the Tamabil road. The river is not very deep and is one of the sources of sand in Sylhet.

There are residential hotels in Sylhet city. If you want to stay at a low cost, you will find many hotels worth 500-1000 taka in the Dargah Gate area. Among the good service, hotels are Hotel Holy Gate, Holy Inn, La Vista Hotel, Pansy Inn, Hotel Metro International, Britannia Hotel, Nirvana Inn, Hotel Nurjahan Grand, etc. The cost of staying in these hotels will be from 2,000 to10,000 taka. Luxury hotels Rose View Hotel, Nazimgar Resort, Grand Palace, and a few other hotels.
DHAKA TO SYLHET
For Sylhet-bound buses leave from Dhaka's Fakirapul, Gabtali, Sayedabad, and Mohakhali bus terminals. Green Line, Saudia, Unique, S Alam, Shyamli, ENA, and London Express buses ply on the Dhaka-Sylhet route. AC bus fare is between 1000 to 1200 taka and non-AC bus fare is 480 taka.
SYLHET TO JAFLONG
For Jaflong, the bus leaves from Kadamtali. The local bus fare is 70 taka per person and the Gate lock non-stop bus fare is 100 rupees. If you want to go by reserve car, you can get CNG, Laguna, or microbus from in front of Bandarbazar Children's Park. However, you will find cars going to the reserve in almost all places of Sylhet. CNG fare for the whole day including going to and from Jaflong will be 700 to 1200 taka, Laguna 1000 taka, and microbus reserve will cost 3000TK.
Jaflong Budget Tour and Tips
If you go for a group of people, there will be many opportunities to reduce the cost. In case of staying in a hotel, stay at a bargain and share in a fairly quality hotel. Share the food and drink with everyone. Traveling in a non-AC bus or train in a comfortable chair will reduce travel costs. And if you go without holiday or peak season, you can get discounts on many things. If the minimum cost is calculated, it is possible to visit Jaflong for only 1500 taka per person if 4 people from Dhaka agree on a 1-day plan.

Lalakhal, which is another top tourist attraction in Jaintapur Upazilla, is covered with hills, natural forests, tea gardens, and rivers under the Jainta Hill which comprises part of the Meghalaya Ranges of India. Flowing from the Indian part, the river Myntdu enters Lalakhal as the Saree and meets the river Guaiyan after passing Sarighat. Over a stretch of nearly 12 km of the river from Lalakhal to Sarighat, the colour of the water stays transparent green in winter (as well as in other seasons when it does not rain) due to the minerals flowing with water and the sandy river bed.
A tourist can experience green water river, Range of mountain and Tea Garden- at once in Lalakhal.
At the eastern bank of river Saree, there is the ‘Lalakhal Tea Garden’.

How to go there?
Tourists usually travel to Sarighat, which is 42 km away from Sylhet city centre, by road and then hire a boat to reach Lalakhal. The one-and-a-quarter hour (mechanised-) boat ride over this crystal green water with lush green hills on both sides of the river is a soothing sight for any nature lovers.
There is a boat station in Sarighat operated by Nazimgarh Resort. Different types of mechanised boats can be hired from there to travel to Lalakhal.

Sylhet is a city in eastern Bangladesh, on the Surma River. It’s known for its Sufi shrines, like the ornate tomb and mosque of 14th-century saint Hazrat Shah Jalal, now a major pilgrimage site near Dargah Gate. The tiny Museum of Rajas contains belongings of the local folk poet Hasan Raja. A 3-domed gateway stands at the 17th-century Shahi Eidgah, a huge open-air hilltop mosque built by Emperor Aurangzeb.

Ratargul Swamp Forest is a freshwater swamp forest located in Gowain River, Fatehpur Union, Gowainghat, Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is the only swamp forest located in Bangladesh and one of the few freshwater swamp forests in the world. The forest is naturally conserved under the Department of Forestry, Govt. of Bangladesh.
Bisanakandi is situated at Bangladesh-India border in Sylhet. It is a landscape beauty among gardens and hills. Bichanakandi is a village situated in Rustompur Union under Guainghat Upazilla. This is where many layers of the Khasi mountain meet at a single point from both sides.
It is located 25 kilometers North of Sylhet City in Gowainghat Upazila. There is more than one way to go to Bisnakandi. Tourists can use the Sylhet-Guainghat Road via the airport and take a left turn to reach Hadarpar from where a local boat may be hired to arrive at Bisnakandi. Visitors can go to Hadarpar by CNG-run auto-rickshaws, which are available for hire at Amberkhana Point in Sylhet city.
