Landing at Tivat is considered demanding due to the hilly terrain surrounding the valley in which the airport is situated, and strong prevailing Bora crosswinds; Tivat Runway 32 approach requires a descent into the valley of Tivatsko polje and a 20° turn for runway alignment just before landing; The airport is considered to be the Kai Tak of Europe;

Recently i visited Montenegro and one very beautiful airport for spotting in town of Tivat. Today`s video is from national airline of Montenegro and their Embraer 195. As good hosts their pilots saluted me with a friendly wave and thumbs up. Light was beautiful that day. Tivat airport have one of hardest approaches in Europe and all landings are performed visually.
