The Best All-Inclusive Resorts in Costa Rica | Jetsetter.com

Costa Rica ranks high on our bucket list for hundreds of reasons: the rainforests, prime surfing, active volcanoes, unspoiled beaches, and its all-inclusive resorts, which can go head to head with any in the Caribbean. Here are our favorites. P.S. Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel!

1:05 Drake Bay Getaway Resort
Two Seattle expats opened this intimate hideaway on the Osa Peninsula. Today, it's one of the best all-inclusive resorts in southwestern Costa Rica, with an organic restaurant, unspoiled nature for miles, and just five stilted cabins with views of the Pacific Ocean and Corcovado National Park.

1:33 Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica
Top-shelf liquor and first-rate service: Las Mareas isn’t just “all-inclusive,” it’s “Unlimited Luxury.” Many rooms here have terraces with hot tubs that overlook the water, the full-service spa features two swimming pools, and activities include everything from cocktail mixing classes to salsa lessons.

2:12 The Westin Golf Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal
This 2,400-acre beachfront paradise features an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, but even if you don't golf, there's tons to keep you entertained. Go for a dip the resort’s multiple dreamy pools, explore the area on a loaner bike, play beach volleyball, or go on a snorkeling expedition.

2:46 Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica
It’s all about romance at this adults-only resort, from the 24-hour room service to romantic plunge pools. Each of the 202 rooms has a private terrace, some of which overlook the Gulf of Papagayo. Go for a walk around the property to spot resident Howler monkeys playing in the trees.

PLANET HOLLYWOOD Costa Rica Vacation Review!

Visited Costa Rica this november 2019. beautiful resort with amazing views.

Things to know before visiting Costa Rica

Things to know before visiting Costa Rica

Costa Rica has been a popular destination for quite some time especially considering that it is so close to the United States. The initial boom occurred in the 90's when expats decided to start relocating to the Central American country in order to move away from the high priced USA.

This has caused one of the things to know before visiting Costa Rica and that its not that cheap to visit anymore. The country is overrun with American food chains in the big cities and most of the times in San Jose and other large cities you are going find yourself eating at one of the many restaurants you eat at in the USA.

Another one of the important things to know before visiting Costa Rica is that you will most likely rent a car in order to see all of the popular tourist destinations. The beaches on the Pacific Side are most of the nice ones in the Northern part of the country and the Volcano, Arenal, which most people visit is in the interior.

The infrastructure is decent in the country although it can't compare to that of the United States or even Europe as most of the roads in the mountains to get to the places you need to are still only two lane roads. One thing that falls under what to know before visiting Costa Rica is there will be an authorization on your card worth hundreds or thousands of dollars.

It is important to note that when you do rent a car the insurance against others is required where in most other countries it is optional. You will want to purchase this coverage for others via your online booking engine or even a third party since most of the coverage that you get with your credit card or even the car company doesn't cover third parties.

Those are some of the things to know before visiting Costa Rica. Check out the video if you want to know more!

Top 5 Costa Rica Mistakes - Know Before You Go!

Top 5 Mistakes to Avoid on Vacation to Costa Rica
Welcome to Frog TV – I’m Adam Baker
Let’s Stop and THINK for a moment! What are the 5 Top Mistakes to AVOID when booking your vacation to Costa Rica!
In at Number 1 – Biggest Mistake Not booking with a Local in-country Travel Agent!
Be very wary of large travel sites as they team up with the big all-inclusive resorts to get as many sales as they can for income. The problem with this - is that they promote deals for sales over client experience. We highly recommend moving away from the all-inclusive options and experience the boutique hotels that offer far better service and value for money.
When using online sites you can expect inaccurate information, doctored pictures, inaccurate reviews and poor descriptions. But the biggest thing is the lack of customer service! With online travel sites and local US agents they cannot help you if things go awry when on vacation. You can try and solve an issue but you may well be on hold for hours, eating away at your valuable vacation time.

We have none of these problems. When booking your trip we encourage you to ask us as many questions as you can – so your trip really is perfect for you. Take advantage of the human factor. And if you have an issue in country our 24/7 travel experience team are always there.

In at Number 2 - Staying at only 1 destination or staying at too many! You only have a week so don’t waste it by staying at one hotel! Costa Rica has so much to offer. However on the flip side - do not try and fit too much in to see it all! Costa Rica will be here again for a repeat visit.
Our general rule is 2 destinations for 7 days, 3 destinations, for 9 to 11 days and 4 to 5 destinations for up to 2 weeks.

For Number 3 - Avoid Traveling during the ‘High Season’.
You’ll find traveling here during the high season is extremely hot and dry and very busy! It even rains more on the Caribbean side and around the Arenal Volcano- the adventure capitol. So if you can try to travel during the transition months – April to June and October to December. Plus the prices are lower as well!

In at Number 4 - Comparing it to Mexico or Hawaii!
Don’t expect the same kind of experience. Get out of your comfort zone. There are so many things to do away from the hotels and resorts. Costa Rica is a country to be seen and explored. With a great number of tours and destinations. And remember you cannot stay at the beach and visit the volcano in a day. Costa Rica is not an island like Hawaii so it’s worth splitting your trip up. Tourism plays a big role in Costa Rica, so the service is excellent and the people friendly and welcoming.

Finally for Number 5 – Avoid Waiting till the last minute to book your trip! BIG, big error. Every year Costa Rica is becoming more and more popular. The hotels book up fast especially the better ones. So if you want your first pick aim to book around 6-8 months in advance. This way you may well find better deals on airfare as well as hotels. And if you can try to avoid Christmas it’s the busiest 2 weeks of the year and the costs sky rocket!

So there we go – our Top 5 Mistakes to avoid when booking your vacation to Costa Rica. Of course it goes without saying that the 6th mistake would be not booking with us! So click here to start your dream journey with Costa Rican Vacations! If you’re not convinced just yet check out our testimonials page as we’re very proud of the memories we’ve created.

Hasta la Proxima!

All Inclusive Resorts in Costa Rica - Travel Excellence

We know that sometimes all-inclusive vacations are all what you need. Worrying about nothing but enjoying the beach and having amazing meals is just necessary, and in Costa Rica you can have all that.

Here you will find adult’s only all-inclusive resorts, family all-inclusive resorts and some all-inclusive resorts located nearby incredible golf courses, so you can combine your vacations in Costa Rica with other activities you like.

Most all-inclusive resorts in the country are located in Guanacaste province, nearby (LIR) Daniel Oduber - Liberia International Airport; although, there are some other all-inclusive resorts located in other regions of the country such as the Central Pacific. And as you may have heard, in Costa Rica there are also amazing beach resorts that are not all-inclusive but luxurious, offering amazing experiences during your days of leisure.
