Most people think of the Maya peoples as a former civilization. Although there’s no question that Mayans no longer possess the same dominance that they once had, many would be surprised to find out that Mayan culture is still alive in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula (Campeche, Yucatan, Quintana Roo). I often don't know how to answer the question How much does it cost to live in Belize?
It's not like Im avoiding the question. It's just that Belize is a diverse country and each area offers financial pros and cons.
If someone where to ask you How much does it cost to live in the US, or Canada, or Michigan or Toronto? How would you answer? It depends on the area, the neighborhood and your lifestyle.
Belize can be expensive, or it can be very reasonable.
In this video I'll explore the possibility of living in Belize on a tropical island for what many would consider to be cheap.
Feel free to disagree but I think for some of you this might be a really good option.
