Greater Kruger National Park Wildlife Cam - Kubili House

This camera watches over Kubili Dam on Thornybush Game Reserve inside the Greater Kruger National Park. In fact this is the biggest dam in the reserve.

On any given day you never know what you will see, we have large herds of elephant and buffalo that come through often. We have had Lion, Leopard and even Rhino coming down for a drink. Giraffe are also very common in the area and a bloat of Hippos are resident in our dam. Watch out for the baby Hippo just recently born.

Kubili House is considered one of the best lodges in Africa, its owned and operated by the Koski Family who reside in New York. (

Where are the falls?

It's the #1 question we get asked in the visitor center. Where are the falls? We actually have five total falls, four can be seen, three can be driven to directly. The falls we are named after, the Great Falls (otherwise known as Ryan Dam) are about 15 miles northeast of town. We're showing you how to get there!

Guided walk along the Olifants River.

I recently guided a group of Dutch students together with Joris Bertins along the mighty Olifants River. We had some truly memorable experiences including getting close to some of the most dangerous animals in Africa. We had lovely sightings of Hippopotamus, Buffalo, Elephants, Crocodiles, Spotted Hyena and walked on fresh lion and leopard spoor, but was unable to catch up with them. Come and join us for a truly wild experience at Sefapane River Lodge and Sefapane Tented Camp. Thanks to Joris Bertins for the videos and photographs
