Viltrox 28mm f/1.8 Real World Lens Review for Nikon Z Full Frame FX Cameras
I reviewed the Viltrox 28mm f/1.8 autofocus lens for full-frame Nikon Z Series cameras. I use this lens on my Nikon Z6 full-frame camera. I take the lens out for landscape, street, and general photo-walk photography and even manage to sneak in some wildlife photography with the turtle photo I used for the thumbnail of this video. The Viltrox 28mm f/1.8 is a capable lens. If you need a reasonably priced fast prime in this focal length, it's worth considering.

IS THIS THE PERFECT LENS? — TTartisans 35mm f1.4 on Nikon Z5
Watchap my noble fellas! Today I bring you the incredible, almighty, brand new and unexpectedly great TTartisan 35mm f1.4 tested on my Nikon Z5 full frame camera. I tested it out mostly for videos and I need to say it's an outstanding piece of glass with so much value for what it costs: 83 USD (at the time of shooting this vid). CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
Have a look at the scenes I shot in the streets. The dreamy bokeh, the sharpness, the excellent rendition of colours and the surprising HDR performance in bright days as well as in dark nights. I don't know if it's the depth of field or the f1.4 but I'm super happy with the cinematic results I got from this lens. Bear in mind there's no color correction in those clips! I'm in love with this little lens and I'll carry it with me on every future trip I make.

I take the Nikon Z fc out for a photo walk using the Vintage 105mm f/2.5 AI-s lens. I discover that I need more practice when trying to bag perfect focus in quick situations with a manual focus lens. In the end I was able to bag some photos I was happy with.

2019 Nikon Z6 + Nikkor 50mm f1.8 D + AI-Z manual lens adapter
Nikon Z6 + Nikkor 50mm f1.8 D + AI-Z manual lens adapter. Usually shot at 2.8 because this lens is soft wide open. Manual focus is very easy thanks to Z6's zoom function in a beautiful viewfinder. I couldn't focus in optical viewfinder on my DSLR, but this is actually fun...but still very slow compared to autofocus.
I bought the adapter for 20 USD on Aliexpress since this lens would still not autofocus on Nikon's 250 UDS original adapter.

Nikon Z6 with FTZ adapter
I tested various lenses with Nikon Z6:
* Nikkor Z 24-70 F4 S - no adapter needed and everything works as expected
* Tamron 24-70 F2.8 first gen - often can't focus plus weird exposure changes
* Tamron 70-300 - ditto
* Tamron 15-30 F2.8 first gen- same as above, but this one may still be useful for me as I mainly use it for stationary subjects and sometimes with tripod
* Tamron 150-600 G2 (second gen) - works with the latest lens firmware update as of 5 Jan 2019
* Nikkor 50 F1.8 and Nikkor 85 F1.8 - both work
* Samyang 14 F2.8 - it's a manual focus lens, but works as expected including correct exposure
It was relatively dark: 1/50s F4, ISO 2000
