Yosemite National Park an American national park in California, surrounded on the southeast by Sierra National Forest and on the northwest by Stanislaus National Forest. The park is managed by the National Park Service and covers an area of 759,620 acres (1,187 sq mi; 3,074 km) and sits in four counties – centered in Tuolumne and Mariposa, extending north and east to Mono and south to Madera County. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1984, Yosemite is internationally recognized for its granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoia groves, lakes, mountains, meadows, glaciers, and biological diversity. Almost 95 percent of the park is designated wilderness. Yosemite is one of the largest and least fragmented habitat blocks in the Sierra Nevada, and the park supports a diversity of plants and animals.

This year has been a pretty tough year for everyone. So my friends and I decided to go on a much needed adventure. I originally wanted to make an epic travel video but then I realized that’s not how I want to remember this trip.
Don’t get me wrong, I love making videos with those “banger” shots but sometimes you gotta live in the moment and not worry about “getting the shot”.
When I look back on this video I don’t want to just remember that I went to a cool place with amazing views, I want to remember just being truly happy during a time in life when things are pretty tough.
Yeah, life can get pretty crazy sometimes. Just remember to do what makes you happy. And do it with the people you love.

Visiting Yosemite during a Pandemic and Wildfires made for an interesting experience in our van. We found out last minute Yosemite reservations are required and when we visited in mid August we didn't plan for wildfire smoke!
We are devastated now to see that Yosemite is closed due to air quality and a portion of the ad revenue generated on this video will be donated to assist in wildfire relief.
Hopefully this video can serve as a Yosemite Travel Guide for your upcoming trip to Yosemite National Park after the wildfires and with the coronavirus restrictions.

Tuolumne Grove: A Great Family Friendly Sequoia Grove Hike in Yosemite
Tuolumne Grove is located at the start of Tioga Road and it is a less-visited giant sequoia grove in Yosemite National Park. The hike to the grove is about 2 miles round trip with 500 feet of elevation loss on the way down to where the grove sits. While not one of the most impressive groves, it is still a great way to see some of the big trees.

Yosemite | Top 3 spots outside of The Valley | Tioga Pass | Mariposa Grove
Today we took some time to explore outside of The Valley to see what else Yosemite has to offer. There is so much that a lot of people never venture out to see. Tioga Pass has some amazing spots such as Tuolumne Meadows, Olmstead Point, and Tenaya Lake just to name a few. We also went to Mariposa Grove and took the Washburn Trail to the Big Trees and Grizzly Giant Loop trails to see the Giant Sequoia trees. Next time you are at Yosemite take a day to explore outside of The Valley so you don't miss out on these amazing things.
