A note to my younger self.

One of my favorite meditation practices is writing a note to my younger self. It has always allowed me to gain some perspective on the growth I've made, as well as dramatically reducing any anxiety I might be feeling. I spent the night in Joshua Tree and just wasn't feeling like vlogging, so I wrote a note to myself and just filmed this beautiful landscape.

In December 2019 we took a spontaneous road trip to the French Atlantic coast to experience the perfect conditions. Heavy waves were pounding against the lighthouses around Ouessant and made us witness the pure force of nature. Strong and beautiful.

Self Doubt in the Creative Process

The creative process always seems to follow the same arch for me: excitement for the idea, massive self-doubt and criticism, satisfaction with the end result. I've been on the road outside of Colorado for over a month now filming my upcoming project Redefining Success. I'm so excited to start putting together all of this footage, but the self-doubt and daunting task of editing are definitely taking their toll.

The other day I was listening to BBC radio 1on my way to work in the car and a girl called Izzy read out a letter than she had wrote to her 10 year old self. ⁣⁣

So I thought I’d give it a bash. A few things I left out; like friendships and relationships, but that’s because I wanted the letter to be about me and my family and the good people who surround me. Remember you live your life for yourself and that’s the message I wanted to get to my younger self from the letter. ⁣⁣
