A magical Winter evening spent wandering the Ice Castles in Dillon Colorado

x

Frozen...literally....wandering the magical ice castles in Dillon Colorado

With our day off, we spent President's Day admiring the magical Ice Castles in Dillon Colorado. The weather was perfect (in a wintry icy kinda way ;) at just 12 degrees when we arrived around sunset. Once you enter the main gate, you're instantly transported into another world...much like what you see in the movie Frozen. There's slides and tunnels for the kids, and plenty of photo opportunities (and believe me, EVERYONE is there to take lots of pictures....so just be patient and you'll eventually get your shot!). It's open for a few more weeks, so get up there and take advantage of one of the coolest things to do in Colorado this Winter!
