A Perfect Day in Anguilla
Which Caribbean island is my favorite? It's so hard to choose just one! But I will reveal one of them on my list: Anguilla.
High-end but low-key, sophisticated but casual, with 33 Instagram-worthy beaches and a shopportunities galore, the 35-square-mile island captured my heart when I first visited about a decade ago. And it does the same every time I return.
My latest trip was in May, when I squeezed in some time with my AXA bestie, Trudy Nixon. A longtime resident, Trudy knows what’s up on Anguilla, and shares her knowledge with the world via True Anguilla, the island guide she publishes. We had a fun day exploring the best of Anguilla’s beaches, shops and restaurants. And now I’m thrilled to share our day-long adventure with you.

Our Caribbean island hopping adventure continues and now we're on the lesser known, and exclusive island of Anguilla.

In this video we're exploring Anguilla, a British overseas territory in the Eastern Caribbean. Anguilla is home to 33 of the world’s most beautiful beaches. We first give a tour of our hotel the Manoah, situated on the world famous Shoal Bay. The Manoah has a full service restaurant/bar right by the beach and stunning pool. We also give a tour of our amazing suite.
To get around the island we rent a Moke, one of the cutest and fun vehicles we've ever rented. We drive around the island stopping at Ken's BBQ ( for some amazing barbecued chicken and ribs.
Later we make our way to the Anguilla Arch and to Sandy Ground, home to another of Anguilla's beautiful beaches and beach bars.
