Then I add entertainment cost. Next comes the cost of health insurance. Moving on, I add in the costs of my T-Mobile Cell phone, a TRUE data Sim card as a backup for my phone, my monthly subscription payments such as, Netflix, Adobe, etc. Finally, I finish with my monthly supply of medications.

Back in Thailand - Living or Retiring in Pattaya on $1000 a Month #1

Starting off my budget travel videos by living in Pattaya on less than $1000 per month. In theory, this should be a reasonable retirement budget for general living. Of course, backup savings should be kept in case of emergencies and unexpected costs.

I managed to get a great deal on a comfortable and functional room at just 4000 baht per month in central Pattaya.

I have to pay electricity bills on top of that so will have to live on less than 1000 baht per day. It's perfectly doable but will require me to be a little more thrifty in daily living.

The plan is to upload regular updates on living in Pattaya on a budget whilst I'm here and will get deeper into the travel vlogs towards the end of the year.

Fixed Costs of Expat Living Expenses in Thailand | Ross's Deep Dive

#DoMoreLife #Expats #Thailand
After many questions arose when I published Ross's last video on retirement cost in Thailand, he thought it would be a good idea to add another video. This time he explains the fixed costs of expat living expenses in Thailand. He literally puts his money where his mouth is.
Ross's deep dive into fixed costs of living for expats will help you understand more about the monthly budget of expats who live and retire in Thailand.
He breaks down everything from the monthly electric bill, food and shopping costs, Thai cell phone, Thai cell phone monthly bill, and the monthly price of dog food.
Knowing your budget is key to understanding how much you can spend in Thailand. Ross was also nice enough to offer a tourist destination, and throw out some challenges for those who can complain about his numbers, but not provide any solutions.
My challenge is just to do more life!

My expenses for living in Thailand as an expat

Thailand vlog about my expenses for living in Thailand as an ex-pat. I used to live in Thailand for 2,5 years as an ex-pat. I worked and lived in Jomtien Pattaya, and in Bangkok. I worked for an online company and had a work permit for that. After that, I lived in Thailand on a retirement visa.

I used to rent a motorbike, and after that, I buy my own motorbike. My expenses for staying in Thailand, when I had a condo in Jomtien, Soi 13 on Jomtien Beach Road, Pattaya, Thailand. If you want to know more about how much I paid for everything when I lived in Pattaya, Thailand, then I talk about that in this video.

A haircut in Thailand was between 100 and 150 baht. I got a Thai driving license for a car and a bike very cheap. I had health insurance from BUPA and another insurance company.

Here are some links for what I talk about in this video:
