The Most Difficult Landing - Greece Island Hopping Flying Adventure
I was Island Hopping with Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air in Greece. I flew from Rhodes to Kastellorizo; which is known as one of the most difficult and challenging airports in Greece, due to the short 800-meter runway which often has strong winds and terrain and geographic restrictions nearby. The runway at Kastellorizo is sitting on a hilltop with cliffs on each side. Only the Dash8-100 and only the captain is allowed to land and take-off from there.
Next, I flew with Aegean Airlines on an Airbus A320 to Santorini; it was a beautiful flight over Aegean Sea, seeing many nice islands enroute. I was given a tour of Santorini and stayed in a spectacular cliff hanging hotel, which overlooks the Aegean Sea.

Amazing Aerial Firefighting / Angels In The Sky / Kefalonia Greece
Air and ground Firefighters tackle a large fire close to Trapezaki in the Livathos Municipality of Kefalonia in Greece. The fire which started in the early hours of the morning took days to put out and is sadly one of the many fires that occur every summer on the small Ionian Island.

A Kuwait Naval Force H225M Caracal departing Kefalonia Airport (EFL/LGKF) after a short fuel stop, on its way to Rhodes and after some more stops to Kuwait. On the background is also visible the PZL M-18 Dromader of the Hellenic Air Force (reg. 128) that crashed last week at Zakynthos Island during a firefighting operation.
