Walking Cozumel, Mexico | Downtown San Miguel Street
Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular cruise ship port of call famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around a section of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles.

On this episode of LivinRvision, we are arriving in Cozumel Mexico! This is Part 3 of our seven day western caribbean cruise. When we go to a port for the first time, we usually don’t like to reserve a shore excursion in advance unless someone that has been there before tells us that something is a must do. We usually prefer to take a taxi tour of the island and see a little glimpse of different areas as well as get lots of history from the driver.
Today was a little different for us though. We made a last minute decision and chose to do the Mexican Fiesta tour. What did we think? Would we recommend it? Watch to find out and learn more about Cozumel.

Cozumel Food Tour! Last Day on the Disney Magic
It’s day 4 and 5 of our cruise on the Disney Magic. We’ll start the morning right with coffee at Cove Cafe before leaving the ship to explore Cozumel, Mexico. Come with us on a walking Cozumel food tour, trying one of the craziest frozen margaritas we’ve ever seen and eating some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. Back on board the Disney Magic, we’ll try our hand at a drawing class and explore the pool deck, from the water slides to the splash zones, and we might try to get some redemption in the Quiet Cove pool. But mainly we’ll show you all the food options available on the Disney Magic’s pool deck. And it is Pirate Night which includes a pirate-themed dinner before the pirate themed dance show with Mickey and friends oN the pool deck, followed by the most spectacular fireworks at sea. Our visit to the island of Cozumel in Mexico, one of our favourite cruise ports in the Caribbean. ????
Cozumel in Mexico - our third port of call on our 7 night Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Glory from New Orleans. Cozumel is one of the most popular cruise ports in the world. Cruise lines other than @Carnival stop at Cozumel. Our cruise port was Puerta Maya.
Cozumel is an island just off the east coast of Mexico. The island is in the Caribbean and not the Gulf of Mexico. The main town on the island is called San Miguel de Cozumel.
There's so much to do in Cozumel though! Diving and snorkelling are really popular and the island is surrounded by reefs. Boat trips and sailing are a good idea. Jeep tours and ATV tours are also popular.
Cozumel is only a short ferry ride away from the Mexican mainland and popular excursions include Cancún, the Tolum Mayan Ruins and Chichen Itza, probably the most famous of all Mayan sites.
Cozumel has lots of great beaches. You can also visit one of the many beach clubs, the most popular being Mr Sanchos. I know there are people who go to Cozumel and won't go anywhere but Mr Sanchos. So many people told us it's amazing!
On our visit to Cozumel, we decided to have a relaxing day at the port area of Puerta Maya. We did some shopping, sat at the beach and ate some amazing Mexican food in Pancho's Backyard. It was a nice chilled out way to spend the day. The cruise port is really nice.
Cozumel is a really great destination and it's no wonder that it's one of the busiest cruise ports in the world. ????️
