Mahathir bin Mohamad (Jawi: محضير بن محمد, IPA: [mahaðɪ(r) mohamad]; born 10 July 1925) is a Malaysian politician, statesman, author, and doctor who served as the 4th and 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia from July 1981 to October 2003 and again from May 2018 to March 2020. He is also the longest-serving Prime Minister by serving for 24 years. He served as the 4th Deputy Prime Minister and in many other Cabinet positions before his promotion to the premiership in July 1981. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Langkawi since May 2018, Kubang Pasu from August 1974 to March 2004 and Kota Setar Selatan from April 1964 to May 1969. His political career has spanned more than 70 years, starting with his participation in protests against non-Malays gaining Malaysian citizenship during the Malayan Union through to forming his own political parties, the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) in September 2016 and the Homeland Fighters' Party (PEJUANG) in August 2020. He is referred to as Father of Modernisation (Bapa Pemodenan).

YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia addressed over 150 Japanese clients of RHB Bank on the topic Message to Japan: Road to Recovery in the Global and ASEAN Economy on March 1, 2013.
YABhg Tun shared with the audience his thoughts and insights on how Japan can recover and adjust its presence in the world economy as well as on the economic relationship between Japan and ASEAN countries.
The event ended with a dialogue and Q&A session with YABhg Tun which was moderated by His Excellency Masahiko Horie, the former ambassador of Japan to Malaysia.

It is an open secret that Mahathir, Daim and the graduates of his so-called ‘PEREMBA SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT’ (read cronies) are among the Malay Elites who hijacked the NEP to enrich themselves and their families. They practise agnotology to keep the Malay rural masses ignorant and once in a while throw dedak at them to appease them and make them feel ever so grateful
The Malay masses have been subjugated and exploited by the Malay Elites. They are disenfranchised and have no agency. They are beholden to the Malay Elites because of their ingrained spoon-fed mentality. This indoctrination has reduced them to lemmings.
They will throw molotov cocktails at any perceived threat to the status quo. That’s a measure of how beholden these lemmings have become…
