night time city view of Kaula Lumpur in Malaysia

Malaysia is a unique travel experience that is much different from its neighbors. From the dense urban jungle of Kuala Lumpur to the pristine beaches of the Perhentian Islands, Malaysia is a beautiful and often underrated country. Spend the day with a traditional tribe or in a tea plantation in the Cameron Highlands or trek through the huge national parks of Gunung Mulu and Taman Negara, encountering incredible wildlife including tigers and orangutans. Make sure to head to Borneo and explore the jungle, and dive at Spidan, one of the best dive locations in the world. Malaysia has a ton of stuff to offer travelers and is often quickly visited by travelers who breathe through on their way to or from Thailand. Take this country slowly, enjoy all the great Indian food and curries, and get off the beaten path to get the country to yourself.

15 Days in Malaysia : A Budget Trip (550 Ringgit) - 2019

This the last video of my Malaysia trip - 2019, How expensive is Malaysia? As video title shows that I lived 15 days in Malaysia through different cities, which are:

Kuala Lumpur
Langkawi
Kuala Perlis
Penang
Malacca and
Johor Bahru

Let's talk about expenses, first accommodation, the minimum price I spend on living which was Ringgit 13 and the maximum was Ringgit 20. Usually, I stayed at hostels, some of them are very good with FREE BREAKFAST. I lived in one hostel in Penang, the hostel owner has two Nationalities Pakistani and Russian, he was very helpful person and told me, eat breakfast and drink tea whole entire day for free and the hostel price was on Booking.com Ringgit 18, and I got on spot just on Ringgit 18. I enjoyed two days there.

I booked four domestic flights but just flown two for Ringgit 107.
In the last I just say 'Selamat Jalan' which means Goodbye in Malaysian language.

7 Days in Malaysia... (Langkawi & Kuala Lumpur)

7 Days in Malaysia

Hi!! I'm Ishanka and thank you very much for watching this video about a few of the top things to do in Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur, two cities that just happens to be one of my favorite cities to visit in Southeast Asia.

Me and my friends planned to visit the Malaysia to explore and to eat. Since we are are based in Colombo,Sri Lanka, we took a night flight to KLIA 2,Kuala Lumpur and we catch the second flight to Langkawi from KLIA 2 which is a one hour ride.By the time we arrived to Langkawi it was slightly raining and we stayed in the hotel Best Star for another few hours after the lunch.

Currency Exchange

Normally you’ll able to get better rates for your currency in the city rather than in the airport.Upon our arrival to Langkawi airport we only exchanged 20$ at 4.05 (2017 November) and then we headed to one of the licensed money exchanger “fortune 100” at Pentai Cenang and got 4.17 per dollar(2017 November).

Transportation in Langkawi

The public transportation in Langkawi is so limited almost like non existing. Therefore there are few modes to getting around langkawi.Among them the cheapest mode is Uber. The uber charges are 0.60 Ringgits per kilometer and 0.30 per minute. The taxis in Langkawi don’t have meter system instead they have fixed charges in between famous tourist destinations. As an example the taxi fare from cenang beach to 3D art Museum in oriental village is 35 Ringgits (November 2017) yet we only paid 24 Ringgits to our uber driver.
Duty free Shopping

Duty free shopping in Langkawi is lot more cheaper than Kuala Lumpur which we were unable to do :(

Places to Visit

01.Eagle Square
02.Night Markets
03.Island Hopping Tour
04.Parasailing,Banana boat rides,Jet Ski Etc
05.Langkawi cable car ride and sky bridge
06.3D art Museum

Best Time to visit Langkawi

Well if you like to follow the high tourist season, the best time to visit Langkawi is between January to March.

Kuala Lumpur

After spending three days in Langkawi we came back to Kuala Lumpur on our 4th day.Kuala lumpur is the largest and probably the most important and influential city in Malaysia.

Public transportation
The transportation is KL is just great. The entire city can be explored by taxi, bus, train and metro. During our tour we only used buses trains and metro.

Places to visit

1. The Petronas Towers.
2. The Menara KL Tower
3. Brickfields
4. Chinatown
6. Thean Hou Temple
7. Central Market
9. The Batu Caves
11. Jalan Alor night market

Hope you enjoyed this review and hope you have a wonderful visit!

Singapore is known to be tiny, modern, and insanely expensive—especially next to her Southeast Asian counterparts. While $50 USD is more than enough for travellers to live like a prince in nearby countries such as Thailand and Indonesia, the same amount is barely enough for a hotel room in Singapore.

Still, with street food even Gordon Ramsay raved about, impeccably safe streets, and a location that makes it ideal as a stopover hub, there's no reason to give this city-state a miss. Yes, it is possible for those travelling on a budget to enjoy Singapore, just as the locals do.
