While I constantly try to find the positives in every place I visit, there are a few nations that I just simply didn't enjoy.

The country of BRUNEI is one of them.

I went to Brunei back in 2014, three years before I made videos, but my negative experiences in the country have stuck in my mind ever since. That, combined with its absurd human rights laws such as stoning to death LGBT members, I felt like this video needed to be shared with the world.

Have you ever visited any countries that you didn't enjoy? Please share below, I'm curious to know.

Visit Shanghai - 5 Things You Will Love & Hate About Shanghai, China

Shanghai, the driver of Chinese commerce and the wealthiest city in China. Also, a very cool city for travelers. It is very modern, some cool sites, and amazing food, but there are a few things you won't like, the prices, the crowded subway and it may be the only place in China where you worry about your wallet.
But it is an amazing city and one of our favorite cities to visit in Asia and of Course China.

Our Equipment

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Things Okay in Japan but Illegal Around the World

Shocking Laws okay in Japan, but illegal around the world. So I’ve made videos before on things you can’t do in Japan because of laws or unknown laws that could get you arrested, but in this video I wanted to switch things up a little and share with you some things that are legal in Japan but may be illegal in other parts of the world. Many think that Japan is a very strict country, but when you hear some of these Japanese laws you may be scratching your head. And to be clear from the start, I don’t recommend doing any of these things. I’m not providing legal advice and this is for entertainment only.

???? Coronavirus | Why It's So Bad For Southeast Asia | Chinese Tourism.

???? Coronavirus | Why It's So Bad For Southeast Asia | Chinese Tourism.

Coronavirus Is Really Bad For South East Asia Tourism!

As the realization that the Coronavirus is a deadly virus, countries around the world are taking measures to make sure the virus doesn’t become a Pandemic.

Tourism is one sector that is really going to suffer during this outbreak!
If this is your first time on the channel, or you have returned and enjoy the content, then please SUBSCRIBE and don't forget to press the bell icon so you never miss out on upcoming videos and resources!
With most countries relying on the Chinese tourist dollar, many countries can ill afford to see a major drop off from Chinese tourists.
The early signs are that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
With China effectively closing its borders, most of the country is in lockdown.

Already hotel and airline stocks have sunk as China's travel ban kicks in.
All South East Asian countries will suffer because of this.
The Thai government had set an ambitious target of 41.8 million tourist arrivals this year, but coronavirus has put paid to those hopes.

Thailand has so far been the worst hit by coronavirus outside of China, with eight patients and 39 others quarantined pre-emptively.
With nearly 27% of Thailand's tourists arrivals coming from China, the travel ban has been a shock to the industry.
Chinese travel agencies have already cancelled 60% of their bookings, say many tourist operators.

Tourism accounts for over 20% of Thailand's gross domestic product.
Although tourist arrivals hit a record 39.8 million in 2019, the figure missed the government's target by about a million.

The fallout from the coronavirus paints a bleaker picture for 2020.
The Thai government has scaled back expectations.
Investors in Thai stocks reacted quickly to the ban.
The benchmark SET index fell by 2.9% to 1,524.15, the lowest level in more than three years, and the largest single-day drop since October 2016.
Shares in hotel operators have reportedly dropped by 9%, while those of state-run airport operator, Airports of Thailand and the national flag carrier, Thai Airways International, each fell by 6%.

The government expects Chinese arrivals to fall by about 70% over the next few months due to the tour group ban.
About 800,000 Chinese travel to Thailand monthly on average.
Each of them spends about 50,000 baht ($1,630) on average.
The economic impact over the next three months from a fall in Chinese tourist spending alone will add up to around 84 billion baht ($2.7 billion).
This figure may go up considerably if the virus cannot be contained.

Away from Thailand, Bali is also bracing for a shock to its tourism industry as China's travel ban kicks in. Although, Indonesia has not identified any cases of coronavirus yet.
We have received several cancellations in Bali due to travel warnings from several countries and flight cancellations from China, said representatives from most Hotels in Bali.
Thermal scanners have been placed at Ngurah Rai International Airport to identify possible carriers according to local media.
Bali welcomed 1.1 million Chinese visitors in the 11 months ended in November, representing 20% of all arrivals in the period, and almost twice the full-year total in 2014.
The industry has already been struggling to recover from volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.

The Cambodian tourism industry is also expecting a hit as Chinese arrivals are its main source of overseas visitors.
While health authorities scramble to confront the possibility of an outbreak, tourism officials are working on a plan to mitigate an expected blow.
Cambodia's tourism sector generated $4.35 billion in 2018, an almost 20% jump from 2017 and equal to about 17% of its GDP.
According to the most recent figures from the country's Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia welcomed 5.3 million international visitors in the first 10 months of 2019.
Of these, 38% were from China.
Any interruption of Chinese tourist inflows, for example, by a sharp slowdown of the Chinese economy.
The Chinese market is the biggest, not only for Cambodia, but the world in general.

We will see negative impacts, if there are no urgent measures taken, or if they cannot find an effective vaccination for the outbreak, then, the scope and scale will increase dramatically.

In Malaysia, many customers from China have also cancelled their hotel reservations.
Malaysian businesses are expected to be severely affected by the Chinese government’s directive to cancel inbound and outbound tour groups amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The bottom line is, any country in the world that relies on the Chinese tourist dollar is going to take a hit to their pockets.
We can only hope that a solution to this massive problem can be found, and found soon!
