After consulting well over 300 people on how to build tiny homes and start their own Airbnb business, one question always rises to the top: What the deal with pre-fab homes? Do I like them? Do I recommend them? Do I hate them? While I LOVE the concept of a 3d printed tiny home for under $10,000...that rarely ends up being the final price tag on these luxury modular homes. Now, I didn't want to just throw shade at the kit home industry and beg for likes, so at the end of the video, I'll be sharing a few companies in the pre-fab space that I respect.

Full Show: 5 Modern Homes with Unique Architecture & Style | Open House TV
Ready to step inside five modern marvels that feature unique architecture with style to spare? Open House host Sara Gore takes on a tour of more beautiful homes this week!
First, we meet up with architect Gregory Sharp at 153 East 30th Street to check out a renovated townhouse! Tasked with converting a multi-family home into a single-family townhouse, Sharp embraced the challenge and reimagined all 5500 square feet into a 5-bedroom, 5-bath modern abode in Kips Bay. From a formal parlor room upon entry to the seamless flow between the kitchen, living room, and backyard, this home emphasizes an open dialogue between the interior and exterior spaces.
After, we journey to downtown NYC to take a tour of Zoe Vidali and Peter Vits' NoHo home! When the architect and designer and her entrepreneur husband first bought this place, it was a typical 1980s artist loft, but they saw great potential in its massive volume. They completely gut renovated the space to take advantage of its full height and reimagined it into a tri-level home with ample room to live in. From removing the original facade and replacing it with a 3-story cast-iron window to allow for more natural light to eliminating most of the floor plates to create more spaces, including an entertaining area on the basement level that is topped off with a bar and sauna, their upgrades have allowed each floor to effortlessly blend into one another. When you have an indoor garden and a window inside of your house that allows you to look out to the rest of your loft, you just know you are dealing with a very special home!
Next, we fly down to New Orleans to join architect Nathan Fell for a tour of his one-of-a-kind Mid-City home! Fell and his family love city living but also enjoying spending time outdoors, so through a design aesthetic that emphasizes transparency, he was able to configure an indoor and outdoor dialogue that enables interaction and maximizes the building's verticality. Different types of natural materials are what makes this home unique, including 12-ft high sliding glass doors that surround the place, exposed concrete walls, walnut-clad cabinetry, black granite on the kitchen island that serves as a reflective surface, and a variety of wood to create a cooling effect throughout the home. The living room kitchen, and dining room are also all seamlessly connected and to bring life to the dark and rustic color schemes in each room, Fell found playful ways to add bold pops of colors to brighten up the space and counterbalance the otherwise more static materials. Additionally, the outdoor area is a must-see: the pool expands the entire living area and there is a roof deck with views of downtown Nola that's perfect for entertaining guests.
After this segment, we journey to 1291 Will Geer Road in Topanga, California to join estate agent and content creator Aaron Grushow for a tour of Trust Ranch (which stands for The Ranch Upon Sacred Territory). From its expansive great room with soaring wooden ceilings and panoramic views of the Santa Monica mountains to the rustic, airy kitchen with an oversized center island, custom tiles and cabinetry, and overall earthy elements that include barn doors that lead right into a multi-purpose, multi-functional project room, this magnificent 6-bedroom 17-acre estate is a true sanctuary that is perfect for enjoying quiet moments of leisure but also entertaining large groups of friends and family. If you’re aching for some natural light, fresh air, and outdoor bliss, this house and its gorgeous grounds — complete with horse stables, a private vinyard, an 1800 sq/ft open-floor plan, guest house with canyon views and patio, and an outdoor pavilion that supports the solar panels and has been used for aerial silk classes, this luxurious yet calming haven will do the trick!
We top off the episode with a tour of a charming Brooklyn home designed by NYC-based interior designer Eneia White. Featuring original details (so as to now disrupt some of the classic highlights of the home), modern silhouettes, creamy colors, and huge bay windows, this space exudes loads of casual elegance while also striking a balance between contemporary and cozy living. Overall, it feels like a warm hug at the end of a long day and showcases how whimsical details can make an otherwise traditional space really shine and flourish!

The home has 3 stories- the bottom floor being mostly storage, the middle floor has all of the living space, and the top floor has another outdoor deck. This is a triple container home made up of 1x40' container and 2x20' containers. We'll be focused mostly on the 40' container.

Join Open House host Sara Gore for a tour of five exquisite homes located in a different cities around the world. From an idyllic townhouse in the West Village to homes in Paris, Lake Tahoe, Beverly Hills — and yes, even a stop at a jaw-dropping penthouse the iconic Plaza in midtown New York City with a room inspired by Eloise — this episode features homes that are as stylish as they are impressive.
First, we meet up with Maggie Marshall at 31 Grove Street: a beautifully renovated townhouse in the heart of the West Village. This 4200 sq. ft. 19th century gem embraces the unique original details that give this residence its historic charm, while seamlessly integrating some modern updates, including a steel-and-glass staircase that runs through the entire house, a spacious chef's kitchen with views of a private garden and custom cabinetry, and an indoor/outdoor entertaining center downstairs with a wet bar.
After, we drop by 1061 Loma Vista Dr: an 8,800 sq ft masterpiece in Beverly Hills that features 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. This beautifully renovated mid-century home in Beverly Hills was originally built in 1959 by architect Rex Lotery and has since been expanded, restored, and modernized to make the most of the sunny California lifestyle. Designer and developer Philippe Nauori takes us a tour of this Corinne Calvet residence that is all about maximalist minimalism with its clean sleek lines, meticulous landscaping and vegetation, relaxing pool oasis inspired by a Brazilian paradise, original woodwork that makes the most of natural light, and unique art pieces.
Then, we zip over to a glamorous corner duplex inside the private residences at the iconic Plaza Hotel. This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom beauty spans well over 3500 sq ft with original historical details mixing seamlessly with eye-catching modern decor, designed by professional stager Jason Saft. From the massive great room that Saft segmented into four distinct zones — including an area for relaxation and take in views of Central Park and a entertaining space with a custom bar that's anchored with a circular rug, round coffee tables, and four mirrors to make it feel less boxy and reflect light — to a dining room that underwent a dramatic transformation into a jewel box room that features elements from different eras, florals, and traditional touches, to a whimsical room that references the beloved children's book character Eloise on the dresser, this home exudes a certain boldness that sets it apart with a comfortable softness that makes it ideal for everyday living.
We then drop by Lake Tahoe for a look at a modern take on a classic home with an A-frame silhouette that was conceived by architect Todd Maher. We learn more about what inspired the imagining of this traditional mountain ski-cabin — aptly named Phoenix Rising after it was built from the literal ashes of a quintessential lake cottage — and how he morphed this symmetrical building into a warm and inviting abode full of geometric surprises and functional upgrades — including, but not limited to: a wood-burning fireplace in the great room, along with decorative beams and a circular multi-layered chandelier that binds the space together; a kitchen that embraces natural light and the beautiful views outside through bar seating under the cabinet window; a curved staircase for a touch of whimsey; and an intricate roofing pattern that is applied indoors as well.
Finally, we end the episode in Paris, France! Interior designer Elliot Barnes shows us around one of his newest projects: a full gut renovation of an elegant 19th century townhouse right in the heart of Paris's 16th for a family of six — just minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. From the entrance through a private square with a charming lamp post, to the extension of the main living room that projects into the back of a tranquil garden, to the living room featuring an Italian bubble-shaped chandelier, this Parisian home beautifully dovetails traditional details with distinct modern ones.

MASSIVE 2-Story 1500sqft Ultra-Modern DREAM A-FRAME CABIN! (Full Tour)

Welcome to the gorgeous Hey Frame House in Georgia! A 2-story 1,500sqft cabin, this A-frame is located on the footsteps of Lake Hartwell.
The owners used an Ayfraym building plan from Everywhere Co. as a starting point for the design and then worked with a custom builder to modify the home to better suit their needs.
The cabin overall is quite massive and is definitely one of the largest A-frame cabins I've toured to date. Coming in at a little over 1,500sqft, it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a gigantic main living room and kitchen space, and a cute little reading nook area upstairs.
I was especially a fan of the kitchen and the interior design overall. Parts of this A-frame felt like a multi-million dollar New York City apartment to me!
Lastly, on the exterior, you have a large outdoor deck, a fire pit, and you're steps away from your own private dock with full access to Lake Hartwell.

Welcome to Kodiak on Long Lake! Located in Comstock, Wisconsin, this is a 1,000sqft modern Scandinavian cabin with private lakefront access.
The home can sleep up to 6 guests and boasts a very soothing boho-style interior decor with a lot of smooth white and beige colors throughout. In particular, I loved the living room space which contains 2 huge comfy couches, a gas fireplace, a large Smart TV, a Wii game console, and a nice assortment of DVDs, games, and other entertainment options.

In this video, we're doing things a little differently with 3 tiny home tours in 1 video! Welcome to the Farm at South Cove in Nova Scotia. This venue has 3 different ultra-luxury tiny homes that are built right over the ocean!
We'll be spending most of our time in the first home which is the Honeymoon Suite. The exterior has a private hot tub and an outdoor patio. Inside you can find a designer micro-kitchen, 2 smart TVs, a wood stove, a loft bedroom, a master bedroom, and a master bathroom with heated floors and a soaking tub.

Today we are right on the shore of Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota at this gorgeous 2-story modern tiny home villa! Dubbed North Shore Cove and coming in at about 800sqft, the highlight of this home is your private lakeside access. You have your own completely private cove and beach right at your doorstep. This is perhaps one of the best locations for an Airbnb that I've ever featured!
The interior is quite modern featuring a large kitchen with a massive countertop island in the middle. Next to the kitchen is a well-stocked coffee nook. The living room contains a Smart TV and a gas fireplace. The second floor has a bedroom, some office space, and another area for coffee.
