Duće is a small tourist place in Split-Dalmatia county in Croatia. It is situated close to the town of Omiš along several kilometers of beautiful coastline next to the road Omiš - Split.
Duće has about 1500 inhabitants and administratively belongs to the municipality of Dugi Rat. Over the last 50 years, the place has been extensively developed thanks to tourism, and most residents are now involved in tourism and offer accommodation in their private homes.
The beautiful sandy beach stretches along the entire length of Duće, almost 6 kilometers from Omiš to Dugi Rat. This unique beach is a real pearl of the Adriatic and is perfect for a summer vacation for families with young children thanks to its numerous facilities. Along the coast, there are many bars and restaurants where you can taste delicious Dalmatian specialties.
We recommend trips to nearby historic cities of Split and Omiš, but also to the natural phenomenon of the canyon of the river Cetina where you can enjoy in rafting, canoeing, as well as local specialties like eel and frog on the grill.

Camping Jasenovo - Brodarica, Sibenik
- Camping Jasenovo is located in Jasenovo bay on the main road Sibenik - Primosten and is 10 km away from Sibenik. The campsite is located right by the sea i, where it is shaded by a pine forest, and from the plots there is a beautiful view of all the islands in front of Sibenik.
Camping Jasenovo received the award of the Croatian Tourist Board for 2010 as the best small campsite in Croatia.
Campsite Jasenovo has 50 arranged pitches, which have arranged connections for electricity, and some of them also have water. Most of the pitches have excellent shade, and a few sunny pitches are to the right of the campsite.
At the edge of the campsite, near the sea, there are also a few mobile homes Sunset Bay Resort for 4 - 6 people.
The beach in the campsite is a combination of sand and pebbles, next to the beach there is also a nicely decorated bar, and in summer they also put umbrellas on the beach. At the edge of the beach there is a pier with moorings for boats.
Dogs are also very welcome in the Jasenovo camp.
The sanitary facility is nicely decorated and also includes a laundry room. In the upper part of the camp there are also some children's playgrounds, a basketball court and a common area with barbecue.
The nearest shop is in Zaboric and is 1.5 km away. For larger purchases, they recommend a visit to a shopping center in Sibenik.

Our house is located 300 metres from the popular “Blue Beach” on a slightly elevated spot so it can give you a wonderful panorama view of the Sibenik, Tribunju and the islands. The town’s centre is about 600 metres afar and the closest shop only 50 metres. A private parking lot is secured for vehicles along the house and is located in thick shade surrounded by a wall and illuminated by night. If you arrive without a car, we will be glad to await you in Sibenik, Zadar or Split. We offer you room with kitchen and more simply rooms to choose from. If you choose to stay in a room we offer you the use of two shared kitchens. One, located on the first floor, fully equipped with a balcony and the second one spacious, also fully equipped with two broad tables, two refrigerators, a microwave oven and everything you need for meal preparation. Besides, we offer a grill, great for cooking fresh fish that you can buy every day at 17 pm from the fisherman in Tribunj (2,5 km) or you can just order it from our housekeeper. A private parking lot is secured for vehicles along the house and is located in thick shade surrounded by a wall and illuminated by night. If you arrive without a car, we will be glad to await you in Sibenik, Zadar or Split.

Наше знакомство со страной мы начали с города Сплит. Арендовали машину и махнули на осмотр самых интересных локаций по дороге в Дубровник. Затем арендовали катамаран – и изучали Хорватию с моря. Мы купались на самом красивом пляже Европы – Стинива, любовались фантастическим свечением в Голубой пещере острова Бишево, искупались в «Глаз Дракона» - соленое озеро, в поселке Рогозница, и побывали на единственном в мире острове в виде сердца - острове Галешняк, любовались «Венецией» древнейшего города Трогир… Все это и немного больше вы увидите в этом видео.

Lungomare simply means a coastal path and as such can be found in lots of places. However, Opatija's Lungomare is rather unique and has become a true landmark of Istria. Built in two phases (Volosko - Opatija and Opatija - Lovran) and completed in 1889 and 1911, it's about 10 km long and very coastal, unlike many other similar paths. It connect the entire Opatija area (Volosko, Opatija, Ičići, Ika and Lovran), all the beaches (vast majority are public) and many, many hotels, restaurants and cafes but also takes you through the history of the area and its various events and people.
The first part is my personal favourite, very charming and romantic, especially in the evening, with its yellow lights. Here, Lungomare is quite literally a sea path as parts are very wet during high tides and waves. I also find it architecturally most pleasing, with old pavement, stone walls and even boulders. There are also drinking fountains for refreshment and benches, even secluded ones, to either rest, enjoy the view or read a book. Lipovica beach is the most popular and possibly the largest in this section but there are many other, especially in Volosko itself. And even without a beach you can easily access the sea anywhere you like and just use Lungomare as the beach, like many locals do.
Opatija is where you'll find most cafes and hotels but also many landmarks such as its magnificent parks of Angiolina and St. James, but also St. James' church, Villa Angiolina (considered to be the birthplace of tourism in Croatia, along with the nearby hotel Kvarner) and statues, along with many other. The central part, where Lungomare merges with the main promenade, is the Slatina area and beach, possibly the largest on the east coast, right in what is considered to be the true centre of the city.
Proceeding to Ičići, Lungomare disconnects from the sea a bit, bringing a different feel and views to enjoy but also more greenery. This is where you'll find some beautiful villas, beautiful views, Devil's Cave, the largest marina and arguably the most popular beach. It has a pebble and concrete part and doesn't look like much but the key to its popularity is actually behind it - a huge, sanded playground! Drinking fountains will also make you feel welcome.
Another nice little beach is found in the nearby Ika, along with a very puzzling system of underwater springs.
Finally, there's probably the most beautiful part - between Ika and Lovran's City beach. It's well above the sea but still has beautiful pebble beaches, brilliant scenery and the most stunning old villas.
Lungomare technically ends at Lovran's marina but I would advise exploring Lovran's old town, which is just across the street, and also stretching a bit, to reach it's nicest beach. Right where the city bus terminal is.
However, if you want what I considered to be the most beautiful beach, you need to proceed a bit further, to Medveja. It's not perfect but the movie(s) might explain why I like it.

Kravice is a waterfall on the Trebižat River in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is ten kilometers south of Ljubuški and forty kilometers south of Mostar. Its height is between 25 meters and the radius of the lake in the base of the waterfall is 120 meters. Kravice is a popular swimming and picnic area and, during the summer, it is frequently visited by tourists from Mostar, Medjugorje and Dubrovnik.

You'll find Makarska Riviera in 50km south from Split, Croatia. Makarska Riviera is the best place for having vacation because of its wonderful beaches. In my opinion it is the best travel place in Croatia.
