5 REASONS TO LOVE BRAZIL

x

8 CRAZY reasons why we live in Brazil - The TRUTH from Americans 2022!!

Number 7 is life changing! The question almost every single Brazilian asks us is “What are you doing here!?” In this video we will be answering this question.

1. Brazil is the most beautiful country in the world.

2. Brazilian people are wonderful.

3. Kids are bilingual. Research shows that learning a second language boosts problem-solving, critical-thinking, and listening skills, in addition to improving memory, concentration, and the ability to multitask. Children proficient in other languages also show signs of enhanced creativity and mental flexibility.

4 Free public healthcare.

5. Cost of living.

6. Exposing our children to a new culture.

7. It’s affordable to have a maid.

8. Lots of opportunity for business.

This is why we love Brazil and continue to live here. We could go back to the states anytime. We choose to live here because we have a great life with a lot of unique experiences and opportunities.

Visit Brazil - 5 Tips for Visiting Brazil

Heading to Brazil and Want to Make Sure You Have the Best Experience Possible? Here are 5 little travel tips to help tourists, travelers and vacationers heading to Brazil.
#1. Brazil is More Than Just Rio de Janeiro - yes the beaches and Christ of Rio are well worth visiting, but Brazil has so much to offer from the Rainforest in the Amazon, to the Beaches of the Northeast to the Pantanal to the mega city of Sao Paulo there is so much to see, so explore more than just Rio.
2. Eat Regional Dishes: everywhere you go you will find regional amazing food in Brazil so explore the local cuisine as well as the more traditional Brazilian fair.
3. Be Smart & Dress the Part - Brazil has security issues so be smart when traveling around the country. It is not as bad as the media makes it out to be but there are issues. So be smart when traveling around and dress the part, don't show bling or any wealth to help you avoid any problems.
4. Pack Your Patience - Brazilian time is a bit different than other times around the world so make sure you have lots of patience when you need something done.
5. Be Ready for the Brazilianisms: Brazil has their own way of life and own way of doing things so be ready for electric showers, crazy parades and fun and laughs.

5 Tips for Visiting Rio de Janeiro

Do You Tip in Brazil?

USA Today & 10Best's #1 Independent Travel Videographer 2014

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Portuguese Practice – 5 Things I love About Brazil

I’m an American Learning Portuguese. This is my first experience with a second language and it has been a big lesson in patience and diligence. Verbs and prepositions are the hardest part. I kept this video short and simple. I will keep practicing and learning. Maybe in 6 months I will make another video.
We moved our family of 7 from Reno, Nevada, USA to Brazil 1 year ago. It hasn’t been easy but totally worth it. We always talked about how cool it would be to live abroad and expose our children to a new culture, language and way of life. So instead of just dreaming about it, we actually did it. Brazil has pushed us out of our comfort zone in so many ways. There have been moments of complete frustration, confusion and mistakes. But there have been even more times of great adventures, excitement, growth and bliss. No matter how hard it gets, it feels so good to be living our dream. We don’t regret moving to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil one bit and we plan to stay for another 4 years. We want to open more Big Jumps, travel all around Brazil and become fluent in Portuguese. We will keep posting videos of our adventures and experiences. We love Brazil and feel so blessed to be here. Video 87

Top 5 Desserts in Brazil ???????? Top 5 Foods in Brazil Brazil Street Food #brazil #usa #shorts

Top 5 Brazilian Desserts. After watching a soccer match with my friend in Brazil, something came to my mind. I didn't see many desserts in Brazil or I didn't notice them. Now we are going to look at the best desserts in Brazil. Number 5. Bombocado. A cake with grated permesan and coconut. A very fresh dessert. Complete with a cup of Brazilian coffee. Number 4. Mousse de maracujá. A very important Brazilian dessert. It's yellow in color and it's a bit strange that it has black seeds in it. This is because of the passion fruit. It tastes a little tart and sweet. Also, the seeds are edible. You don't have to be shy. Number 3. Pavê. I know that when you first look at it, you think it's tramisu. Yes, with the ingredients, it might be a bit similar. Since we're in Brazil, it could have strawberries, pineapple or coconut. Number 2. Beijinho. With coconut and condensed milk, you get this consistency. It melts in the mouth and leaves a nice aftertaste. Number 1. Bolo de rolo. It consists of giant thin and soft cakes. These are then rolled up and cut and served. Don't think you'll be satisfied with just one slice. I love it. It's usually made in patisseries. Have you tried one of these? I'm waiting for comments.
