Paris is one of the most magical cities in the world! But man, it can be tough figuring out where to eat and drink like a local. It’s a city that is so popular with tourists - and that means there is an overwhelming choice of places and a fair few tourist traps to avoid!

So to celebrate our fantastic Ultimate Paris Food Tour I teamed up with our local Devour Paris expert Jess Timmins to take you to 11 places where to you can try some of the must-try tastes in this incredible city.

We focused our food tour in Le Marais district, which is a gorgeous historic part of Paris with lots of family-run business and beautiful winding streets, some of which are as they were centuries ago.

In this video we hit 11 establishments, lots of them family-run businesses. And many of them actual places we visit on our food tour.

So where did we go to eat the best food in Le Marais... and what did we try?

1. Caractère de Cochon - Paris’ best jambon-buerre sandwhich
2. Jean-Paul Hévin - Paris' best macarons and chocolate
3. Tout Autour du Pain - mind-blowing croissant and pain au chocolate
4. Grand Cafe Tortoni - gorgeous coffee shop!
5. Poilâne - famous bakery and French bread how it used to be made
6. Chez Alain Miam Miam - an incredible galette au beurre salé
7. Au Petit Fer a Cheval - pastis for a little aperitif
8. A La Villa de Rodez - a selection of delicious French cheeses and cured meats (saucission)
9. Les Philosophes - lovely bistro for excellent steak tartare and French onion soup
10. L’as du Fellafel - Paris’ best falafel, in the Jewish Quarter
11. L’Etiquette - a fabulous little wine shop (where you can also drink wine by the glass)

Our Gear:
We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Paris France Tourist Guide The City (Passport Heavy)

Paris, France sits high on the list of one of the world's more famous and expensive cities in the world.

With I have been there a few times and René having lived there for a couple of years, we decided to get the crew together and film a documentary giving y'all a tour of both the typical and not-so-typical things the city has to offer.

Summer in the city of love truly is a magical experience. The energy is amazing, the city is booming with culture and history and it doesn't get dark until 10pm, it's crazy.

There's also so much to explore in the city: from food, to city sights and unique parties and cultural experiences.

The city felt safe and we were in High Spirit, especially as we roamed the city in our dope anti-theft, London-made custom High Spirit backpacks.

We had some amazing Airbnb experiences, ate at some dope cultural restaurants, attended city tours, experienced Black-French art, culture and fashion, and much more.

Hope you enjoy Paris as much as we did.

Walking Past The Parisian Cafe Scene, Paris

No matter where one goes in Paris, there is always, always, always an outdoor cafe one passes by. And there will always be people ...people watching and dining and drinking and carrying on. And it wouldn't matter what season either, come summer, winter, Spring or Fall, people will be out in the cafes. This is one of the great things about Paris. The Cafes!

24 Hour Layover in Paris (how to have the perfect day)

We are back!! After our 3 week social media detox we are heading back out and the cheapest flight out of LA was to Paris where we will be having a 24 hour layover!

After arriving in Paris and checking into our incredible room at the Peninsular Paris, we crashed after the jet lag hit us before waking up at 4am in the morning.

After a super tasty breakfast we headed out to see as many sites as possible in 24 hours including
- Arc de Triomphe
- The Louvre
- Notre Dame
- The Eiffel Tower

Before we crashed out and had a mid day nap. After waking up several hours late we headed to Le Tribeca for some baked camembert cheese then did a river tour around the city before ending our time on top of the Eiffel tower planning our next adventure.

Thanks so much to the Peninsular Paris for allowing us to stay and making our layover extra special:
